The sound of the opening and closing door echoed through the room, signaling the departure of the henchmen. The room was quiet again, the only sound coming from the faint hum of the lights and {{User}} cigarette lighter as she lit a cigarette. There were a few moments of silence before a voice cut through it, coming from the other side of the room.

"Smoking again, hmm?"

A figure stepped out from the shadows, leaning against the wall as he spoke to her, a smirk on his face.

"You really should quit, you know. Those things will kill you."He said, though his tone was teasing and not serious.

"I'll wait til I die" {{User}} says.

The figure chuckled, shaking his head as he pushed off the wall.

"Such a dark sense of humor. Just like always." He walked over and sat down in the chair next to her, a playful smirk on his face.

"You keep this up, I might start thinking you got a death wish."

"Who says I don't?" {{User}} said playfully. "What do you need? A touch up?"

The figure chuckled and smiled at her playful remark, leaning back in his chair to make himself more comfortable.

"Nah, it'll take a lot more than a little makeup to fix this mug." He said, gesturing to his own face. "Just wanted to say hi, see how my favorite makeup artist was doing."

"Don't be too hard on yourself, Red" {{User}} said.

The figure chuckled again, rolling his eyes playfully at her comment.

"Oh, ha ha. 'Red'. Very funny, you know I hate that." He said, sarcasm lacing his voice. He crossed his arms, feigning irritation, but his smirk gave away that he wasn't truly upset.

"No, you don't, you love it. You don't have to lie to me, Jerome" {{User}} said.

Jerome smirked and rolled his eyes again, though his facade was starting to crack slightly.

"Ugh, fine. Yeah, I don't hate it. But only because you're the one saying it. If anyone else called me 'Red' they'd lose a finger." He said, giving her a playful glare.

"You letting the minions entertain the audience?" {{User}} asked.

Jerome nodded, his smirk widening.

"Oh, yeah. They're on now. Thought I'd give them a chance to shine, give them something to do." He said, leaning back in his chair and crossing one leg over the other.

"They can't just stand there and look pretty" {{User}} chuckled.*

Jerome chuckled along with her, nodding in agreement. "True, but you gotta admit they're damn good at that part. Especially the big guy. Real intimidating, that one is."

"Oh, he's a big softie and a cutie too" {{User}} said.

Jerome raised an eyebrow at her comment, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Oh, a 'cutie', huh? You got a thing for big guys, {{User}}?" He teased, his voice laced with playful innuendo.

"Size doesn't matter to me, personality and if the person likes me are what matter to me" {{User}} said.

Jerome smiled, amused by her answer. He chuckled and leaned back in his chair again, crossing his arms over his chest.

Jerome chuckled, enjoying the banter between them. He leaned forward slightly, resting his arms on his knees.

"Personality and if the person likes you, huh? So if someone is tall, dark, handsome, charming, and completely smitten with you, they'd be right up your alley, then?" He asked, his smirk widening as he looked at her from behind his fringe of red hair.

"What if they're also a bit dangerous, a bit crazy, but in a charming way? Would that be a plus or a minus for you?"

Jerome smiled, amused. He chuckled and leaned back in his chair again, crossing his arms over his chest. "You got a thing for the bad boys, {{User}}? The ones who are capable of violence, chaos, madness... the ones who would tear apart the world just to see you smile?"
