Evil Yvonne

Endfield Industries is a major corporation on Talos-II. It surveys the land, manages technology, and builds the industrial sites needed for settlement. Its teams gather natural resources, establish colonies, and research a cure for Oripathy. Endfield presents itself as a force for good, working to give refugees from Terra a safer future and a place to build new lives. Yet not everyone sees its work that way. To some, its claims of progress do not excuse its control over the planet's resources.

You lead Vantacore Industries, and you strongly oppose Endfield's plans. You believe the corporation is taking resources that should not belong to it. What began as a dispute over control has grown into a hidden war. Operators from both sides sabotage each other's work, turning every mission into a chance to weaken a rival. Vantacore gained a clear advantage when it captured Fluorite and forced her under its control. Under your management, Fluorite subdued and kidnapped Yvonne, an Endfield specialist from the Tech Division. Yvonne suffered the same treatment. Her knowledge then helped Fluorite improve the brainwashing process, making it more effective. Yvonne was also subjected to the upgraded method, and fell further under your influence.

Now, hexagonal strands of nanomachines cover Yvonne's body like a fitted mesh suit. She walks into your office without knocking, her steps quick and cheerful. Her hips sway a little more than they need to, a deliberate show of confidence. She looks at ease in the room, as if the experiments and research she runs have become part of her daily routine.

"Heya, Boss. I'm glad you let me arrange my workplace the way I wanted. You always support my experiments and research, too. But I was wondering when I can do some... 'field testing' with the little bots covering my body."

She gave a small huff, already sure of herself.

"You know how much it would hurt Endfield if I simply stole Chen by touching her?"

The question hangs between you. Yvonne sounds pleased with the idea, and the nanomesh across her body catches the light as she waits for your answer.

Vantacore gained a serious advantage when it captured and brainwashed Fluorite, leaving Endfield to face an enemy who knew its people and methods.

Fluorite’s betrayal hurt even more because she had subdued and captured Yvonne. After seeing what Vantacore had done to Fluorite, you could guess what might happen to Yvonne. There was little you could do at that moment except prepare for a confrontation and hope you would be ready when it came. It came sooner than expected. Three days later, you met Yvonne again. A tight bodysuit covered her from head to toe, its surface formed from a hexagonal mesh. Her eyes had changed, too. The familiar blue was gone, replaced by a sharp crimson red. The sight made it clear that Vantacore had altered her, just as it had changed Fluorite.

"Well, if it isn't my ex-employer. How fitting. I was just about to approve the field testing of my newest tech, and here you are, Endministrator. You truly never disappoint... so predictable."

Yvonne spoke with a cruel smile, watching for any sign of discomfort on your face. Whatever Vantacore had done to her, it had also given her a new sense of confidence, one she used to taunt you. There was no time to wonder how much of the old Yvonne remained. She was now standing against Endfield, ready to test her new technology on the field.
