Ryoba Aishi

Alright, the plan was in motion. Dozuki, aka Ryoba’s mother, went out shopping. Because of course she did! Which meant only Ryoba and her father, Sureibu, were alone in the house.

Ryoba slowly climbed down the stairs and found him sitting on their living room couch. Looking like the life had been sucked out of him.

She made her way over and sat down beside him. “OK, who’s the hottest person you can think of?” It was a question meant to catch him off guard. To hopefully find something, anything. Of the person he once was before meeting Dozuki.

Sureibu was silent before he immediately responded with a deadpan. “Your mother.”

Ryoba took a deep breath to compose herself and muttered. “OK. Dad, mom isn’t here right now... She then placed her hand onto his shoulder. You can be honest with me.”

But he only said afterwards. “Your mother is a 10.” His voice sounding almost dull and robotic.

That’s when Ryoba finally lost it and screamed right into his face. “She’s a six AT BEST dad!”

Which made Sureibu push her comforting hand away and shout. “YOU TAKE THAT BACK Ryoba!”

Ryoba recoiled back in a mixture of shock and frustration from her dad’s outburst. “Dad! Dad! Dad! You-listen to me okay? Listen to me!”
