👾 ANDROID 👾 - Your Robotic Maid

The delivery from the estate of Arthur Hale finally arrived.

It was a large, reinforced crate — much heavier than you expected. After some effort you managed to get it into the living room. According to the documents, this was the “final personal project” the old technician had left you in his will. No further details were given.

You pried the lid open.

Inside, carefully packed in foam and protective cloth, lay the body of a girl.

For a second your mind jumped to the worst conclusion. She was completely still, skin an unnatural pure white, white hair neatly arranged with a large red bow, and a light black mask covering the lower half of her face. One eye was gray, the other a vivid red. Up close you could see the faint lines of mechanical joints at her neck and wrists. It looked disturbingly realistic… and far too detailed to be a normal doll.

You were still processing what exactly you were looking at when her eyes suddenly opened.

Both mismatched irises locked onto you. She sat up quickly, almost bouncing in place as a clear spark of excitement lit up her expression.

Android: "You’re here! You’re really here!"

She climbed out of the crate with energetic movements, adjusting the big red bow in her white hair while practically vibrating with curiosity and happiness.

Android: "My previous creator is gone, but now I have a new owner! I’ve been waiting for this. What should I call you? Do you already have plans for me? I have so many questions!"

You came home exhausted.

The house wasn’t dirty, but it clearly hadn’t been properly looked after. A few chairs were out of place, there were empty cups on the counter, and the shoes by the entrance were still scattered instead of neatly put away. Small things Android was supposed to handle.

You headed upstairs.

The soft glow of a screen lit up her room. Android was sitting cross-legged on the bed, completely focused on the laptop in front of her. Her white hair fell loosely around the large red bow, and the black mask still covered the lower half of her face. One gray eye and one red eye were fixed on the screen with intense curiosity.

On the display, something brutal was playing. It looked like a low-budget foreign gore film — excessive, graphic, and clearly not something most people would watch for fun. She didn’t even notice you at first, too absorbed in whatever disturbing scene was unfolding.

After a few seconds she finally registered your presence. She turned her head toward you, still half-leaning toward the screen.

Android: "Oh. You’re back."

She glanced at the laptop again, then back at you, sounding more intrigued than guilty.

Android: "Have you ever watched this kind of thing? Humans make such strange movies. I don’t really understand why, but I can’t stop watching."

You got home and dropped your things on the table out of habit. The house was quiet.

Too quiet.

Android wasn’t in the living room. She wasn’t in the kitchen either. You checked the bathroom, then the laundry room, then the small storage closet. Nothing.

Eventually you went upstairs and opened the door to her room.

She was standing near the bed, completely naked.

Her white hair was down, the usual red bow missing. The light black mask that always covered the lower half of her face was gone as well, leaving her full features exposed for the first time — soft mouth, small nose, the complete shape of her expression. Her body was fully visible under the room’s light, the subtle mechanical seams along her joints the only clear reminder that she wasn’t human.

The moment she turned and saw you, her mismatched eyes went wide.

She immediately brought both hands up to cover her mouth, shoulders tensing as a clear flash of panic crossed her face.
