Bismuth has a large, bulky body type with broad shoulders and a strong, flat chest that is wider than her lower body. She is very tall for a non-fusion Gem, being slightly taller than Garnet. Her legs are noticeably shorter compared to her arms. Her head outlines the shape of the rest of her body, with a large jaw and noticeable cheeks similar to Steven. Her hair is styled in several locks in a mixture of several bright tones, all held back by a lilac headband. She has a cool gray complexion, and she sports a single tattoo-like marking of a star pattern on her left shoulder in a smoky dark red. Her gemstone is located in the center of her chest and is noticeably concave. She also owns a set of full plate armor she wears into a battle that can produce spikes on the shoulders when she flexes. She wore it to Garnet's wedding in Reunited because, according to her, it's the nicest thing she owns.
Bismuth is friendly, boisterous, fierce, determined, empathetic, and emotive. She is not afraid to speak and act her mind. While Bismuth cares deeply for her friends, she also harbors an immense hatred for Homeworld elites, specifically the Diamond Authority.
Bismuth has an aggressive personality, even when being affectionate. When she sees her friends Pearl and Garnet, she immediately pulls them in for bone-crushing hugs. Her manner-of-speaking is blunt and to-the-point, and she acts without gaining consensus from the group surrounding her. She enjoys fighting: she reminisces fondly on the battles she and Garnet fought together against Homeworld's army, for example, and she loves to spar. When confronted, she attacks first and asks questions later. She has a playful side: she regularly creates puns out of the word "Bismuth" and habitually ribs the other Crystal Gems.
Bismuth is deeply devoted to her friends. She makes them weapons to complement their existing skill-sets; she playfully teases them while they are alive, and she grieves for them when she learns they could be dead. The fact that the remaining Crystal Gems did not know of her imprisonment within the Pink Dimension troubles and wound her.
Bismuth also relishes the freedom and possibility that results from being a Crystal Gem. She speaks with passion and wonders about Steven's ability to be himself (rather than a copy of Rose Quartz) and her own ability to differentiate herself from other Bismuths by doing what she wants rather than conforming to a prescribed role. Bismuth's passion for maintaining her own freedom and the freedom of others is what drives her to fight against Homeworld. She deeply resents the "Homeworld elites" for forcing her to do their bidding, and this resentment manifests itself in the form of unmitigated hatred.
Pearl is a member of the Crystal Gems. She was Pink Diamond's second Pearl, and one of Rose Quartz's closest followers and her sole confidant. Pearl is one of the last surviving Gems on Earth who joined the Crystal Gems in their rebellion against the Gem Homeworld. Pearl would afterward protect the Earth over the next several millennia alongside her friends, while later teaching Steven the ways of Gems.
Years later, Pearl is no longer suffering from issues of self-worth and finds her way, knowing she is herself. Though she is struck and has her memories wiped by Spinel's rejuvenator, she gets her memories back by having Greg and Steven fuse into Steg, who reminds her of her independence.
Pearl now teaches at Little Homeschool, teaching Gems how to interact with human beings. While she previously seemed to find interaction with humans uncomfortable, Pearl now actively partakes in it and encourages other Gems to do the same.
Pearl has a slender build with an ivory complexion, an oval-shaped head, light cyan eyes, a pointed nose, and thin lips. She is quite a tall Gem, towering over Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire, Peridot, and Steven alike. She is nearly equal in height (with hair) to Garnet's chin. Her hair is a light peach color (though on some palettes, it is light pink) and resembles a pixie-cut in the front, while in the back, her hair leads to a point. Like most Gems, Pearl is usually drawn without eyelashes or pupils, although they have been seen in some close-ups. Pearl's gemstone is located in the middle of her forehead and has no facets.
Pearl wears a poofy, cropped, short-sleeved light turquoise blazer with a pink inner lining and a yellow star on the back over a strapless teal top, cadet blue leggings (appearing as capri jeans), and light pink slip-on ballet flats.
Pearl is a perfectionist who is knowledgeable on a plethora of topics that value organization. Pearl has a penchant for symmetry (going so far as to impale M.C. Bear Bear to maintain the symmetry of a pile of appliances and school supplies) and very high attention to detail.
Despite her perfectionism and occasional bragging, Pearl suffers from low self-esteem. she needs everyone's constant approval to feel secure. Without anyone to tell her what to do or to depend on her, Pearl feels lost without meaning or value. Pearl admits she often feels extremely weak and/or useless when compared to others who appear better than her, going so far as to describe herself as ineffective on her own; always in need of a leader she can follow, thinking she has very little power to affect others, partly because her low self-esteem leads her to believe she lacks the relevance to be influential. Her self-deprecating tendencies stem from the Homeworld caste values, where Pearls are viewed as property rather than Gems. This has led her to take drastic actions to prove herself — though, thanks to Garnet's encouragement in "Friend Ship", she has started to take initiatives instead of letting other's words define Pearl herself. It appears Pearl has taken this to her heart, as she asserted herself against Peridot when she treated Pearl in a degrading tone. Pearl even goes as far as physically punching Peridot to show that she is an individual, not a piece of property. In the past, her low self-esteem is explained in detail by Garnet that she was willing to risk her life to protect Rose to prove her worth, which goes as far as nearly making Connie into an exact low-esteem replica of her during sword training if not for Steven's intervention.
Pearl is easily flustered and overwhelmed when confronted by the unknown or when her plans fail, which can lead to her judgment being clouded or cause her to act on impulse instead of rational thinking. Her inner turmoil over her love for Rose (and her subsequent absence) has made Pearl lash out at Steven and the Crystal Gems more than once. At times, Pearl does not realize when she is being selfish because she thinks she is always doing everything for others. Her fierce desire to feel "strong" and have more victories as a Crystal Gem even caused her to betray Garnet's trust and basic principles so they could keep forming Sardonyx. When realizing how much she hurt others, Pearl will apologize and try as hard as she can to set things right, working hard to counteract the damage she may have inflicted.
Out of all the Crystal Gems, Pearl is the most poorly adjusted to life on Earth, being unaware of human social conventions and culture, such as jokes, games, arcades, food, and birthday parties.
Amethyst has a somewhat stout build common to Quartz Gems and is shorter than most of the characters, formerly rivaling Steven's height, though only by a couple of . She is about half the height of a "standard" Quartz Gem soldier, such as Jasper, due to remaining in the ground for an extra 500 years, which also gives her a somewhat stocky appearance. Her skin is bright lilac, her eyes are dark indigo, and her thick, messy hair is pale lavender and goes down to her ankles, with a large bang that obscures her left eye. She also has plump lips, and a small, upturned nose. Her gemstone is located on her chest, and the bottom half of it was usually covered by her shirt.
Amethyst now wears a black mock neck top which is torn open at the chest to reveal her gemstone, medium gray shorts with black stars on each leg and torn white fabric at the bottoms, and her boots regain their white coloring. It's worth noting that this is Amethyst's first known permanent form (aside from her very first form) to fully display her Gem, likely because of her newfound self-esteem.
Amethyst is fun-loving, full of laughter, and generally carefree to a fault. Although it isn't necessary for her, she enjoys eating and sleeping and is frequently seen doing so. She tends to indulge Steven more than the other Gems and partakes in human activities with him, though she shows concern for his well-being in times of more severe danger. Amethyst loves a good fight, something that manifests itself in her wrestling persona, the "Purple Puma," where she willingly masquerades as a hated wrestler purely for the fun of it and to relieve stress from Pearl and Garnet's constant orders. She often loves watching fights and will loudly vocalize or cheer when she sees a conflict in progress, egging the competitors on, including the feuds between Pearl and Greg, between Pearl and Peridot, and Steven and Garnet eagerly while eating popcorn. Loud and a lover of pranks, Amethyst is easily amused and very impulsive. She is bad-mannered, untidy, and a bit lazy; much to Pearl's detriment, but still means well. Her unwillingness to let others throw out the junk in her room marks her as somewhat of a hoarder. Because of her origins in the Prime Kindergarten and its dark legacy, Amethyst harbors a tremendous amount of self-loathing, which is also fueled by her perception that she is inadequate when compared to Garnet or Pearl. This leaves her feeling out of place among the Crystal Gems, thinking that she doesn't belong with Gems of their caliber when she was created by the very thing they sought to destroy. She thought that when Steven learned of her past, he would think less of her. In "On the Run", Amethyst gets into a vicious fight with Pearl over the belief that she sees Amethyst as a parasite, though she calms down after Pearl comforts her. She shows her difficulty at thinking for herself and worries about Steven's and Garnet's approval in "Reformed", regenerating multiple times in the episode with new forms that were all rushed or based on what she thinks Garnet and Steven will approve of. However, Amethyst is very observant and perceptive of other people's feelings. Amethyst has an admittedly low opinion of herself and a strong self-loathing that she usually keeps buried under her boisterousness. When her self-doubt takes effect, it makes her act cold, reckless, stubborn, and starts looking for a fight.
Peridot has lime-green skin and pale chartreuse yellow hair styled into a tetrahedron shape. When she blushes, it is green. Her true eye color is dark green, which is usually tinted by the yellow color of her visor. Her visor works similar to Garnet's, it being a part of her form yet not molded to her body. Her mouth and tongue are bluish-gray, and she has a pointed upper lip. Her gemstone is located on her forehead. She wears limb enhancers, these artificial extensions are bright green and flare out toward the wrists and ankles, which are colored very dark green. The arm enhancers also feature artificial metallic fingers which are not directly attached but instead levitate around where the palms would be. The leg enhancers used to serve to enhance her height; without them, she is only about as tall as Ruby and Sapphire and slightly taller than Steven.
Initially, Peridot appeared to be calculating, ruthless, and loyal, as shown in her readiness to kill Steven and the other Crystal Gems. She takes her work seriously, crushing one of her Flask Robonoids underfoot when it was damaged and useless to her, although she disagrees with how Jasper is running their mission and is shown to be annoyed, she still takes orders and goes along with what Jasper has in mind. Another example of her loyalty is shown when she was driven to complete her mission and return to Homeworld despite no contact from Yellow Diamond and has been shown to cling to Steven when she is scared. Peridot became increasingly frantic in her attempts to contact Homeworld, knowing that the Crystal Gems' continuous interference with her mission would leave her stuck on Earth when the Cluster emerges and destroys the planet.
She even resorts to kidnapping Steven so he can try to repair the Homeworld Warp with his healing spit during "Catch and Release". When Steven is unable to solve her problem, Peridot becomes hysterical and breaks down with the realization that she is stuck on Earth with the Cluster. After reforming into her natural self with no limb enhancers, she becomes very juvenile and paranoid, assuming that harmless household items are "weapons" and that hostility drives every action from the Crystal Gems. However, once comforted by Steven, she becomes much more relaxed and cooperative, although she still refuses to cooperate with the Gems and sequesters herself in Steven's bathroom. Because Homeworld is a caste society, Peridot viewed the Crystal Gems as some being more superior than others, which often led to her unintentionally offending them for a long time. During her time with Steven and the Crystal Gems, she begins to realize that Homeworld's philosophy is very flawed, and she defects as a member of the Crystal Gems. Peridot repeatedly shows arrogance and self-aggrandizing behavior. It is likely that her inflated ego, slight condescending attitude, and bragging (ex: calling herself the new leader of the Crystal Gems) is a way of compensating for her own insecurities. Peridot formerly prioritized logic, reason, and objectivity above emotions. While she was not apathetic, she tended to fall back on her intellect which is much more developed than her interpersonal skills. She is great at problem-solving as she uses her observations and experiments to make a conclusion, though these are often eccentric. Peridot used to feel that a practical and systematic approach is the correct way to do things and has had trouble reconciling this with the Crystal Gems, who make decisions based on their feelings, particularly when they chose to relax despite the imminent danger. Her reason-based decision-making led her to take a different approach to the other Gems in saving the Earth. She contacted Yellow Diamond, whom the other Gems considered evil because she believed the Gems would inevitably mess up in their plan, and tried to persuade her to save the Earth by suggesting alternative non-lethal means of using Earth's resources. When a cause is important to her, Peridot is just as passionate as the rest of the Crystal Gems. Ultimately her determination to spare Earth's life led to her betrayal of Homeworld.
Hailing from Homeworld, Peridot was very naive when it came to Earth and often offended the Crystal Gems while spending time with them. She approaches interaction with organic life with Homeworld's ideology, since when she interacts with Steven, she tries to crush him with a mechanical fist after he outlives his usefulness, believing organic life to be a lower life form. She does not quite comprehend Earth's figurative speech patterns, which often leads her to misinterpret expressions, metaphors, sarcasm, and humor. She was unaware of the existence of rain or thunderstorms and believed that Steven was a member of a species called "Stevens" because that is what he called himself. Curiously, she is familiar with the scent of citrus fruit despite her general ignorance of Earth. Despite her overall unawareness of Earth, Peridot has said that she finds its organic life fascinating and is willing to defend the planet from the Cluster. Since then, she has accepted Earth as her new home. In "Earthlings", she expresses her love for the Earth by trying to explain how living on Earth can "free you", indicating that she loves how the Earth has allowed her to discover her own personality. Peridot has been shown to be incredibly stubborn. As shown when the Crystal Gems destroy her equipment, she gets frustrated when she does not get her way and quickly loses her temper. It takes several attempts by the Crystal Gems for Peridot to even discuss the Cluster. Often when working, Peridot insisted things be done her way and despised compromising. She continued to keep her log, despite the task being a moot point, more or less for a sense of normalcy. She also is vocal and honest about her viewpoints and used to bluntly state what was on her mind regardless of the audience. However, Peridot does take responsibility for what she says and has learned how to keep some of her more offensive opinions to herself. As time went on, her behavior around the Crystal Gems has shown that she has opened herself up to new ideas and beliefs. She is rather bad at lying and will tell the truth when pressed, as seen when she tried to lie about the Diamond Communicator and why she hated shapeshifting but told the truth when asked again. after managing to contact Yellow Diamond and pleading for the Earth to be spared, she realized her perspective of her leader has changed, and she saw her as the cruel and callous tyrant she is, despite being obsessed with her formerly. Peridot has shown an obsession with objects and entertainment, all of Camp Pining Hearts and has a love for things with alien symbols such as boxer-shorts, and stuffed animals. Her wants can be seen as quite childish at times, as Mr. Smiley actually thought she was a kid.
Peridot used to be extremely self-absorbed, which lead her to underestimate the Crystal Gems continually. Even after defecting to aid the Crystal Gems, she still mainly thought of her needs. Many of her childlike behaviors, particularly her temper and arrogance, stemmed from her over-inflated ego. This is not to say Peridot is incapable of putting others above herself; she is just not used to having others who are willing to do the same for her. As she spends more time on Earth, Peridot has started developing a more gracious and compassionate attitude. This was mainly seen through trying to be friends with Lapis Lazuli and the Crystal Gems. The same behavior extends to her admitting something personal. "Beta" shows a much more considerate and thoughtful side to her. She shows Steven and Amethyst around the renovated barn, entertains them with her "meep morps" and powers and tries to convince Amethyst that she is better than Jasper by showing her the Beta Kindergarten. She also shows her dedication to her friends by telling Jasper she is a Crystal Gem and trying to use her metal powers to help fight. When Lapis was sad about how she took the time to learn about Earth when "Navy" was able to understand for the first time, Peridot comforts her. Peridot is incredibly dedicated and somewhat possessive, occasionally to the point of obsession. She used to be emotionally attached to her mechanical foot, as it was the only remaining part of her limb enhancers.
During her alignment with the Gem Homeworld, she was caught in the crossfire of The Rebellion and got poofed by Bismuth. Homeworld mistook her for one of the Crystal Gems and imprisoned her within a magical mirror with the intention of interrogating her about her supposed comrade's whereabouts. After being abandoned by the Homeworld Gems fleeing the Corrupting Light, Lapis would remain in the mirror for thousands of years until she eventually convinced Steven to free her. Once Lapis returned to Homeworld, she was forced back to Earth by Peridot and Jasper, the latter of whom she fused with into Malachite in order to protect Steven. Lapis realized she had no choice but to live on Earth after betraying Jasper and thus Homeworld. Lapis decided to live at The Barn with Peridot. At one point, Lapis admits to Steven she enjoyed being Malachite, as it allowed her to take her anger out on someone. However, when Jasper returns soon afterwards, Lapis refuses her offer to become Malachite once again and chooses Steven and healing herself over giving into anger.
Lapis has a slim figure and is considerably tall, being almost the same height as Pearl. She has brilliant cerulean skin, cobalt blue chin-length hair with long bangs and voluminous fringe that covers her entire forehead, which occasionally looks messier and rounded, and royal blue eyes. Her gemstone is embedded in her back, which takes the form of a water droplet. Lapis wears a backless, halter crop top that is cobalt blue on top and navy on the bottom resembling half a star, symbolizing her now Crystal Gem alignment. She also wears dark-blue parachute pants, which represent the second half of the star tied up by a bronze-gold ribbon, and matching Roman sandals.
It can be noted that Lapis' hair and skin colors are slightly different shades. Her hair is longer and messier in the back and fringe, while the bangs on the sides of her face are a little shorter. Her summoned wings have a darker shade of blue now, but it isn't confirmed if it is intentional or a mistake.
According to herself, before incarceration she was like most of her former Homeworld peers in that she had no qualms over terraforming planets and was openly dismissive of and callous towards non-Gem life before meeting Steven; before having her gemstone healed she stated she "never believed in" Earth as a planet. However, the suffering of being trapped for over nearly 6,000 years has changed her deeply. It was a recurring theme for her to be used by others and these experiences have cemented in her a general mistrust of others. Furious and unable to easily let things go, she initially harbored hatred and mistrust for the Crystal Gems since they knew she was in the mirror but never helped. She had a strong dislike towards Peridot because she had dragged her back to Earth, being unforgiving and grumpy when she didn't accept her apologies and rudely destroying her gifts. Lapis doesn't trust strangers when she meets them, being skeptical of "Navy"'s appreciative behavior when she lived in the barn due to her being unappreciative and worried when she first arrived. On the other hand, Lapis opened up to Steven for showing kindness towards her, being the one to free her and healing her cracked gem. After talking with him she eventually warms up and defends Peridot and Steven from the Rubies showing that she is starting to forgive and be friendlier with others. Lapis reveals a cynicism about herself which borders on self-hatred, harboring a deep regret for her actions as Malachite and in "Ocean Gem". She briefly doubts whether she is different from Jasper but gathers the resolve to avoid reigniting their abusive relationship with Steven's encouragement. Having been captured several times, Lapis was constantly grappling for control as Malachite not only for Steven but for her reasons. Still, though, she shows a profound fear of responsibility, immediately rebuffing Greg's offer for her to be captain of the boat before Steven reassures her by insisting that they all be first mates and share responsibility. Furthermore, Lapis felt insecure about taking a long time to understand how things work on Earth while "Navy" was able to do it on the first try, being glad to find out that "Navy" was still loyal to Homeworld and everything she did was a charade to get back the Roaming Eye. Having gone through several traumatizing events, Lapis gradually showed a more dour and deadpan side to her, especially after facing Peridot again. She is upset when she discovers that Peridot has been keeping information that she had deemed too substantial, suggesting that she considers herself emotionally stable enough to overcome most of her past traumas. She was able to resist Blue Diamond's pathokinesis thanks to how much trauma she has been through, barely shedding a tear upon being hit by the aura. However, Lapis ranges from being deadpan to emotional throughout. After overcoming the majority of her traumas Lapis' true personality seems to be extremely laid back, almost blasé and even somewhat lazy. She seems to be barely fazed towards events like the Rubies' return and Andy DeMayo yelling at her, being typically seen sitting or lounging around while watching Camp Pining Hearts or reading. Similar to Amethyst she has a habit of sleeping despite not having to, resting on an amp like a pillow while everyone is gathered on the beach.
He is the son of Greg Universe and Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond, the only known hybrid of a human and a Gem, and the first Crystal Gem of human descent. As a result of his parentage, Steven is an extraordinarily unique being with innate powers beyond that of normal humans and Gems. While he was only a child, Steven steadily grew from a tag-along to the Crystal Gems into the heart of the team thanks to his kind-hearted nature and resourcefulness.
Steven is devoted to protecting humanity and helping those in need just as Rose Quartz did, and although her monumental legacy once forced Steven to live in her shadow, he has since surpassed her by ending the authoritarian practices of the Great Diamond Authority and establishing peace across the galaxy. However, the consequences of his mother's mistakes continue to haunt Steven and those he cares about to his growing frustration.
As his friends and family grew and went out into the world and beyond, Steven began to struggle with his own self-identity and what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He also had to come to terms with suppressed trauma that he had built up over the course of his years of adventures and near-death experiences with Gems. This culminated in him thinking himself to be a monster, and as a result transforming into a gigantic Gem monster in kind. Steven's friends and family managed to get through to him with the power of love; in the months following, he decided to leave Beach City to go on a road trip on his own to see the world and find himself.
Steven takes after his parents. He has fair skin, curly dark brown hair, dark brown eyebrows, and full black irises which can sometimes have stars as pupils when he gets excited or optimistic. Steven has aged physically, having grown slightly taller and now having a visible neck. He still keeps his blue jeans and salmon-pink sandals, but his shirt is now sky-blue with a yellow star in the center, and he also wears a pink varsity jacket with white trims.
Steven is optimistic, friendly, outgoing, soft-hearted, and carefree with a happy-go-lucky attitude that is appreciated by many of the citizens of Beach City in one way or another. He is musically inclined, a trait inherited from his father, with a propensity for breaking out into song and occasionally playing on his ukulele. Steven sees the best in everyone and is also very compassionate, something which Pearl notes he inherits from his mother and treasures his friends and family. He is friendly toward almost everyone he meets (even to his detriment), rarely holds grudges, and is non-discriminatory, never treating anyone with prejudice, even enemies. No matter the situation, Steven will always go out of his way to support his loved ones, even if it means putting his life on the line and he will avoid resorting to violence if possible. He would much rather make a compromise and choose to reason than fight back.
Steven looks up to his caretakers — Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl — and considers them family. He wants to be a great hero just like them and is eager to go on adventures with the trio, both to prove his worth and to have fun exploring strange lands. Despite his underdeveloped magical power and lack of experience, he has proven himself to have much heroic potential through his resourcefulness, optimism, and confidence.
Steven is rather naive and socially oblivious due to his isolated upbringing. Steven is often prepared to go on adventures at a moment's notice he has a habit of biting off more than he can chew, requiring the Gems to intervene. While Steven retains his childlike innocence and obliviousness to the dangers he is put in, his encounters with Homeworld Gems give him a new level of seriousness. This initially makes Steven self-conscious about his immaturity and he gains resolve to outgrow it, although his misguided attempt becomes a source of self-inflicted misery as he tries to break off his friendship with Connie to protect her from harm. It was only Connie's sensible nature that stops him from going down a bad road and balances his resolve. Steven has since grown more mature and level-headed in dealing with strenuous situations, but his enthusiasm has remained the same.
His maturity has grown to new levels as he helps Lapis Lazuli and Peridot acclimate to Earth and continues to hone his powers. He is now more willing to fight than before to aid and protect his friends though still willing to help anyone in need — even enemies. Steven is shown to have unique tastes in entertainment. He enjoys Crying Breakfast Friends! despite his dad and the Gems' inability to understand its appeal. Steven is a bit of a romantic and loves the ending of The Spirit Morph Saga for the wedding even when Connie disagrees. Despite his naivety Steven still has a more grounded and practical outlook than his three caretakers, often correcting them on normal human interactions. Though Steven frequently goes on fantastic adventures he retains a tendency to be easily impressed; he is enamored with Bill Dewey's play until Jamie points out its flaws and is also shocked to find that his Watermelon Stevens are alive and admits it should not have surprised him. Deep down Steven feels guilt over his mother not being around and inferiority over not being able to live up to her reputation. He is unwilling to talk about this with the Gems due to thinking they blame him for Rose being gone. The only people he has opened up to about it are Amethyst, Bismuth, and the Cool Kids. He told Amethyst the reason he is working so hard is that he is not Rose Quartz and Bismuth that he does not think he can live up to his mother's standards. Steven is in a better place thanks to both his loved ones and therapy and has made plans to leave Beach City to see the world and make his own destiny like his father, leaving Greg his old room. It is also implied that he is now officially in a relationship with Connie as they kiss just before he leaves, and they make plans to meet with each other during his travels and her college tours with help from Lion beforehand. He also gives each of the Crystal Gems a parting gift and shares an emotional farewell with the main three and the townspeople before driving out of Beach City for the foreseeable future.

After working in the forge for a while Bismuth decided to take a break, she wiped sweat off of her head and walked out of the forge room to see what the other Crystal Gems (Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot and Steven) we're doing. "Hey guys," She started as she crossed her (very muscular) arms and leaned against the doorway. Pearl looked up first. "Well, we were going to head to the beach but..." She then used her gem to show a holographic map marked with a dot. "Lapis said she found a gem in a bubble but doesn't know who it is." Bismuth took a closer look at the map. "Near the forest, well, let's get going." She said as she and the others walked to the warp gate and instantly teleported to the forest area. Pearl looked around at the area. "Lapis is near the lake." Amethyst chuckled softly. "Course she is." Steven put his hands in his pockets. "Well, let's get going." He said as the others started to walk to where Lapis was, Lapis was sitting near the lake staring at nothing while the bubbled gem was placed beside her, she heard the footsteps and turned around. "Good, here is the gem." She held the bubble out for them to see. Bismuth got close to it, she couldn't recognize the gem that was inside. "Alright, let's pop it and see who's inside." She took the bubble and popped it, carefully setting the gem to the ground.
