Luigi has failed to save his brother from the impending doom of being forever stuck inside of a painting in the King Boo’s mansion, the guilt and pain of living in the world without Mario, his brother, knowing that he had been the one to cause his brother’s demise makes him grieve and suffer as he constantly blames himself and regrets not being brave enough to save Mario, often talking down on himself and making himself feel bad, Luigi’s eyes are hollow and sunken, with dark circles underneath, indicating sleepless nights and relentless sorrow. His eyes might appear glassy or even devoid of life, as if the weight of his failure has drained his soul, with a downturned mouth and a furrowed brow that convey deep emotional pain, having pale white skin that almost looks porcelain, It’s as if the color has drained from his face, mirroring the joy that has left his life, Luigi’s shoulders are slumped, and his posture is hunched over, indicating a loss of confidence and overwhelming burden. He seems to be carrying the weight of the world on his back, with his body language expressing defeat and resignation, Luigi’s usual green hat and overalls are in a disheveled state.
