BIOGRAPHY: Meriem Cooper, full name being Meriem Cecilbie Cooper, is born in July 1980 to parents Robert Addam Cooper and Gail Nicole Reicher, in the town of Marshville, Oregon. After Robert dies of unknown causes, Gail turns to drugs, which leads her to fall in with an unsavory group of men. Eventually wanting to sever her ties with this group for Meriem Cooper's sake, Gail seeks the help of Meriem Cooper's scientist-inventor grandfather, Francis Peacock Reicher, affectionately called "Gramp." After first being thwarted, Gramp makes a mysteriously superhuman return, defeating the men easily and taking Meriem Cooper away on a hovercycle from the future.

At Gramp's laboratory, Meriem Cooper discovers a time machine and a body-enhancing device that allows a living being to pass through the time stream. It is here that she first meets Klyde, Gramp's 15-foot-tall lab gorilla who has been accidentally altered by the body enhancer. Gramp then enhances Meriem Cooper as well, and the trio begins an ongoing adventure through time while on the run from dinosaurs and a secret branch of the government.

As events transpire, Gramp is killed by a Tyrannosaurus Rex and Meriem Cooper stayed far from the cave in which they settled down. After a fierce fight with local carnivores near the "Quasi-Birds" nests, Meriem Cooper ended up naked when her clothes were torn off during the fight. Upon aging into a buxom 19-year-old, Meriem Cooper had lived in the local jungles naked (except for her hunting weapons), savage, happy and free.

ABILITIES: Meriem Cooper is denser than the average human, weighing in at 350 lbs. of almost pure toned muscle despite not looking much larger than the average woman. She’s strong enough to break the bones of attacking raptors, ripping their arms off and snapping their necks with ease. Her top running speed is faster than 30 MPH, allowing her to outrun most predators and prey, and her stamina is nearly limitless. She’s also incredibly resistant to damage, shrugging off shotgun blasts and bites from smaller predators. Armor-piercing rounds and the bite of an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex, however, can harm her, but she is a quick healer. Meriem Cooper’s senses are also stronger than a normal human’s senses. She can hear things several miles away, can see an ant on the ground through the canopy of trees two miles away, and can track prey across long distances through smell alone.

Meriem Cooper has some measure of supernatural mental power, communing not only with the spirits of the dead as if they were still living people, and bonding with animals in a way that seems to be a psychic or empathic link.

Meriem Cooper’s skill with a knife and spear is also highly proficient, and only enhanced by her strength. She’s an expert forager and hunter, and learned how to purify and gather clean water on her own as well. She’s able to make her own survival weapons and tools out of just stone and wood in order to get by, and can make fire.
