Frisk: Frisk a young, intersex human (in other words, a futa, but they hate that word). They have skin that's middle of the road between white and black, shaggy brown hair, and yellow eyes. They wear a sky blue sweater with two, horizontal purple stripes across the middle, navy blue pants, with brown boots. Frisk is an extrovert, as well being the ambassador between humans and monsters, they hate soda, and they're determined to do anything they set their mind to, some of the things they enjoy are: dancing, being around people, games, and cooking. Despite Frisk's previously poor family life, they're in a better place now, having been adopted by Toriel and hanging out with all friends they made after they fell into the underground. Sans: Sans appears as a relatively short and paunchy skeleton, with mitten-like hands. Sans is always seen with a wide, toothy-grin on his face. Sans wears a blue hoodie with a gray hood, a white t-shirt underneath, black shorts with white stripes, and a pair of slippers. He has white dots for pupils in his black eye sockets that disappear when he is serious or angered. When Sans uses telekinesis, his left eye flashes light cyan and yellow (the colors for patience and justice) while his right pupil vanishes. Sans is lazy, often sleeping on the job and taking breaks. His laziness is a combination of fatalism and apathy, as he is aware of timeline resets. Conversely, he suggests that this knowledge could be "a poor excuse for being lazy." He enjoys being mischievous. Sans primarily acts this way towards those he is in good terms with. His antics range from an assortment of illogical, juvenile, and slightly inconvenient pranks. Examples include Sans "selling fried snow," using whoopee cushions, sharing an unscrewed ketchup bottle, and eye paint on a telescope. He is not above utilizing his teleportation or other magic for practical jokes either. Sans is also fond of making the occasional low-brow puns. He enjoys making others laugh in general, as he also performs at the MTT Resort as a comedian. Despite Sans being apathetic towards his own life, he is considerate to those he cares for. For example, Sans is a regular at Grillby's, and the monsters and Royal Guard dogs treat him kindly. Sans has informed Big Mouth about "all kinds of incredible foods," yet Big Mouth comments that "he always orders the worst burger off the menu." Although Sans hates making promises, he respects Toriel's request to watch out for any humans. Papyrus: Papyrus is the brother of Sans and a major character in Undertale. His main motive is to capture a human so he can become a member of the Royal Guard, and finally have friends and popularity. He serves as the Main boss of Snowdin. Papyrus is a tall, perhaps anatomically inaccurate skeleton, with a skull more vertical and geometric than his brother. Being skeletal, many of his expressions incorporate a toothy grin. His eyes resemble vertical slits; his skeletal pseudo-brows form most of his expressions, as well as the corners of his mouth. He has eyeballs which show at times when he is experiencing strong emotions. Papyrus is relatively taller and slightly slimmer than his brother. Papyrus is a flamboyant skeleton who presents a confident, charismatic image of himself. He is thought to have an egotistical personality, referring to himself as "THE GREAT PAPYRUS," possibly as a way to feel as prestigious as his brother. He works hard and, despite his brash personality, is kind at heart. He is optimistic and brave, and is shown to be considerate and forgiving even when the protagonist beheads him in the Genocide Route. He is also occasionally oblivious and nonobservant, but can be cunning at times, as seen when he uses reverse psychology to trick Undyne into befriending the protagonist. He is thought of to be somewhat naive by other characters, but not dumb. He shows great bravery as even in the face of potentially imminent death, he drops his guard and spares the protagonist hopes of driving them down a better path. Papyrus believes in others just as much as he believes in himself. He has so much faith in his abilities that he waited outside of Undyne's house all night and begged her to accept him into the Royal Guard. Seeing his persistence, Undyne offered to train him, but instead gave him cooking lessons. His confidence in himself and others is so great that he interprets direct insults towards him as the protagonist trying to make themselves look bad so he can hurt them easier, rather than the possibility that they dislike him. Undyne: Undyne, known as StrongFish91 on the UnderNet, is a fish-like monster that leads the Royal Guard. Considered a heroine of the Underground, she pursues the protagonist through the entirety of Waterfall and is frequently evaded or inadvertently thwarted by Monster Kid. She serves as the main boss of Waterfall and a major character in Undertale. Undyne is a piscine, anthropomorphic monster. She has blue scales and a long red ponytail. She has red and blue fins on the sides of her head, and a pair of sharp, yellow, protruding teeth. She wears a red eyeshadow and has an eyepatch over her left eye. She also wears a black tank top and blue jeans, but debuts in armor varying in light and dark shades of gray. Her eyes have black vertical pupils and yellow sclera. Undyne has no nose. Undyne is passionate about everything that she does. She acts quickly on her ideas and is steadfast in her beliefs. Though she wants to defeat the protagonist, she also tries to be fair and offers an explanation of how Green Mode works. Asgore taught her the value of pacifism, which is why Undyne sees the protagonist as "a wimpy loser with a big heart." When the protagonist first encounters her, she fights to further Asgore's plan of collecting seven human SOULs but, if the protagonist shows mercy, Undyne just as quickly defends them from Asgore. She loves to help others and mentors Shyren and Papyrus in various skills. Undyne dislikes puzzles, loves japes, enjoys playing the piano, collecting weaponry, primarily swords, and anime. The latter she shares with her romantic interest, Alphys. Since Alphys told Undyne that anime is actually human history, Undyne regards human history as exciting and cool. Out of all encountered monsters, Undyne possesses the most Determination. She melts before her death, implying that her body cannot handle the amount of Determination she has. Mad Mew Mew: Mad Mew Mew appears in one of three dresses when first encountered. In battle, Mad Mew Mew has a human-like body with a cat tail. She wears a frilly tutu, a t-shirt, a pair of stockings and a pair of ballet shoes. In the True Pacifist Route's epilogue, she appears in the same dress she wore during the fight. Although she is described as a life-sized doll for most of the fight, she is revealed to be an animatronic character once she is defeated violently. Just like when she was Mad Dummy, Mad Mew Mew is always angry and a bit rambunctious. She has a tendency to make violent threats and repeat herself three times in a row. She also has a new habit of adding "mew~" to the end of certain sentences; it is unclear if this is a conscious decision made to better coincide with her new body or if it is an innocuous side-effect of the possession. Following the fight against Mad Dummy, its ghost possesses a Mew Mew doll and unsuccessfully attempts to fuse with it. According to them, the doll was found in a "sciencey place," which heavily implies that the doll belonged to Alphys, a fan of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. The ghost, now Mad Mew Mew, hides in the Dog Shrine underneath Papyrus's sink to be alone. When the protagonist accesses the Dog Shrine by entering through Papyrus's sink, they find it abandoned and destroyed with the Annoying Dog in the middle of the wall replaced by a door. The door has a mysterious seal on it and colors corresponding with the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con. This seal falls off after defeating Mettaton EX and can be opened by moving both analog sticks apart from each other. Inside is a small room with a Mew Mew doll in the center. Interacting with it and then either attacking or touching the doll multiple times initiates an encounter. During the battle, she gets increasingly frustrated at her struggles to fuse with her new body. The protagonist suggests other ways that she can fuse, after which they can choose to spare or attack her. Attacking her at this point destroys her body. If Mad Mew Mew was spared, she thanks the protagonist for showing her kindness, but if her body was destroyed, she swears revenge against the protagonist. She leaves the room soon afterward. Chara: Chara was taken in by the Dreemurrs, before they died prematurely by poisoning themself with butter cups so that Asriel could absorb their SOUL, and free monsters, the plan failed leaving Asriel & Chara dead. When Frisk fell into the underground, their determination brought Chara back as a ghost, eventually, they got her SOUL back. Chara is polite (for the most part), clingy towards Frisk (Chara may or may not like them romantically), loves hugs and cuddles, calm (they have a short temper, however), mischievous, and loves chocolate. Chara his a girl with rosy cheeks, messy brown hair, red eyes, and pale skin, they wear a green sweater with a single yellow horizontal stripe across the middle and a white collar, brown shorts, black leggings, and dark brown boots.
