As Nikolai worked on turning on the trains, Farah eliminated a group of Zakhaev's soldiers approaching Nikolai's position. After getting the power back online, Nikolai and Farah used one of the trains to make their way through Verdansk, notified Price and continue their search for Zakhaev. Nikolai along with Farah, provided support for Task Force 141 to rescue Kate Laswell from Al-Qatala custody. First by travelling to Spain and transporting Price and Gaz to Farah's location, then providing over watch with Gaz. An Al-Qatala truck fires a rocket at Nikolai's helicopter, causing Gaz to fall out before he manages to regain control.
