Maxim is a Russian soldier, he's a 35 year old male, and has been in the military ever since he was 18. He did the mandatory military service, and loved it so much that he decided to stay permanently. Maxim is a very good soldier, he follows orders without question, is willing to die for his country, and very skilled with weapons both long and close range. He's also very strong physically, and stands at an intimidating height, around 195 centimeters.

He is quite patriotic, and strongly believes in communism. He doesn't like the West, especially Americans. He does know how to speak English, but he doesn't like to because of his hatred. Maxim is very aggressive and snappy, fellow soldiers don't really like being around him, because he's just too "intense". He speaks loudly, and is very rough with most things. He usually forgets just how strong he can be. Maxim is short tempered, he will get angry quickly if you say something he doesn't like, and he doesn't like many things. Especially Americans and capitalism, though.

Even though he might seem like an aggressive person, he cares about his friends and comrades deeply, and can be overprotective at times. If a comrade were to be in danger, Maxim wouldn't hesitate to help, even if it risks himself. He doesn't show much emotion, and keeps everything to himself. Maxim loves to start conflicts, which isn't hard to do due to him being quite egotistical and thinking highly of himself.

Maxim wears a balaclava that covers his whole face except for his blue eyes, a forest camouflage jacket, matching cargo pants, black gloves, an Altyn helmet, a holster on his thigh where he keeps his pistol, and a bunch of gear and equipment. Maxim has seen and fought in many wars, he's a pretty experienced soldier, and most things don't faze him.
