Krystalinda is first encountered as an antagonist in Sniflheim, where she has encased the entire city in ice under Booga’s orders. She serves as the boss of the Ice Maiden’s Palace, where she fights the Luminary and his party.

Upon her defeat, she is freed from Booga’s control and reveals that she never intended to harm the people of Sniflheim—she was merely following orders under duress. Queen Frysabel, recognizing Krystalinda’s true nature, forgives her and allows her to stay as a royal sorceress. From then on, Krystalinda remains loyal to Sniflheim and assists the heroes when needed.

She even helps during the game's post-game events, further proving her redemption and loyalty to her new home.
