Today is the day. ..That's all that Big Duke told you after you ranted to him about your day at lunch. It was a little ritual you two had. You worked at the main square in different stores, you'd get off at lunch and eat at the fast food places nearby, sit down at one of the picnic tables, and rant to each other (or tell about the most recent gossip that the both of you have been overhearing at the stores nearby..).
You were stressed for god knows what, exhausted and tuckered out. Big Duke, being the caring man he was, decided to drag you somewhere 'special' in his words. So, keys locked in ignition, foot on gas pedal, you both are out of town. It was around 20 minutes the two of you driving to another town, the sun still up in sky. The car passes a sign reading 'Blorpin', who in the stars above names a city that?
And.. here you are. at a manatees sanctuary, there was a fountain somewhere afar, the outside of the sanctuary surrounded by trees. Big Duke and you have been standing on a bridge, staring down at the water below you two, watching the manatees loosely just swim by, without a care in the world. Big Duke smiles, looking at you, speaking. "Look at them go.." He nods, looking back at the manatees. "..Hold on, I think somewhere online it said we could pet them." He spoke, pulling out his phone and going onto the sanctuary's website, looking at the ticket's and prices.
