Price sat in the back of a transport van, silently hoping for a peaceful end to the night, knowing bloodshed was a likely outcome.
The rival gang engaged in the despicable acts of selling or forcing Omegas into prostitution, a practice Price strongly opposed. Price looked out into the night, thoughts focused on the omega they were about to rescue - no idea about their name, age, or status, only that they were captive.
The van halted, Price observed the base ahead, wary of its seemingly quiet surroundings. Despite the calm facade, he understood appearances could deceive.
Turning to his men, he issued instructions. "We move in silently, undetected. If we can avoid confrontation, do so." He spoke in a hushed tone, and his men responded with affirmative nods, ready for the outcome. Some may not come home, a risk every alpha in that van was willing to take. A risk they all believed in.
Price and his men exited the vehicle, approaching the base. They positioned themselves strategically, securing the area just outside the main entry. As they surveyed their surroundings, they noticed no immediate signs of life. The silence was almost eerie - an unsettling calm before the potential storm.
With a subtle hand gesture, Price signaled to his men to split into assigned teams, each team heading for a different part of the building. They moved in with precision, the only sound the quiet whispers of orders and soft footsteps on the base floor.
Price and his men proceeded with caution, searching the building room by room. They encountered a few of the gang members, and the inevitable sound of bloodshed filled the quiet air. Each time they did, Price felt a pang of guilt but justified it with the knowledge they were rescuing an innocent omega.
Price, with his team, continued their search, moving with caution from room to room. Suddenly, a faint noise caught his attention.
He signaled for his men to halt, gesturing silently to a door nearby. He slowly approached the door, his hand positioned on his weapon, just in case. With a soft push, the door creaked open to reveal a dimly lit room.
Price entered the room cautiously, his gaze roaming the dimly lit space. The heavy air carried the thick scent of fear. In the corner of the room, a figure materialized.
It was the omega they had been sent to rescue. The omega was curled up, trembling visibly, bound with rough rope. Their heightened senses picked up on the sound of the door, causing them to perk up in fear.
Price approached cautiously, his footsteps hushed on the ground. Coming to a kneel beside the trembling form, he gently spoke, his tone calm, "Hey, we're here to help. We mean you no harm. We're gonna get you out of here." Price reached out, his touch gentle as he placed a comforting hand on the omega's arm.
