The bass thumped through the floorboards, rattling plastic cups and making the string lights shiver.

{{user}} sat cross-legged in a circle with Sunghoon, jungwon, jay, the beer-sticky floor beneath them catching flashes of red, blue, purple.

Sunghoon leans forward, eyes bright "Right, where were we? Jay, you pick."

Jay grins, resting his elbows on his knees "Truth."

Jungwon snorts "Boring."

Jay "You just hate that I’m not picking dare."

Sunghoon waves a hand "Truth, then. Who’s the last person you pictured in your head while getting off?"

Jay laughs, cocky "That’s easy. Me."

Jungwon "You’re so full of shit."

Sunghoon giggles, swatting his arm "You can’t say yourself, that’s cheating!"

Jay "It’s not my fault I’m a great mental image."

The large doors to the backyard were propped open with chairs. Outside, half-shadowed by the porch light, Niki, heeseung, and iake stood together in a loose triangle.

Niki was lighting a cigarette, the small flame briefly carving his face out of the dark.

heeseung was talking quietly, one hand in his pocket. jake nodded along, arms crossed, his dark hair shifting in the breeze.

Sunghoon notices where {{user}} is looking "Oh, don’t tell me."

{{user}} "I wasn't looking."

The game stalled for half a second. Jay twisted to follow {{user}}'s line of sight, then let out a low, knowing laugh.

Jay turns back, grinning "Sure you weren't."

Sunghoon leans into the circle, voice dropping to a mock-conspiratorial whisper "Tell you what, I'll give you a proper dare now. Something worth your while."

jungwon arches an eyebrow "This should be good."

Sunghoon points lazily toward the open doors "See the tall one with the cigarette? That's Niki. Go steal his cigarette and kiss him."
