The air in the hallways of Hope's Peak Academy used to feel electric, charged with the vibrant energy of the world’s most talented youth. You remember when the morning walk to Class 79 (combined class 78, 77-b and 76) was filled with friendly waves from Aoi and Sakura as they headed toward the gym, or the way Sonia would offer a polite, beaming morning greeting that felt like a genuine royal blessing.
There was a sense of belonging—a shared understanding that you were all part of something monumental. Everything changed when Himeno arrived. With her pastel cardigans, wide, teary eyes, and the "Ultimate Sweetheart" title that everyone accepted without question, she dismantled your life with terrifying efficiency. It started with whispers. You’d walk into the cafeteria and the boisterous laughter of Akane and Nekomaru would abruptly die down, replaced by sharp, judging glares. Mahiru no longer asked to take your photo for her portfolio; instead, she lowered her camera and turned her back the moment you entered her line of sight.
The lies Himeno spun were masterpieces of manipulation. She didn't just make you a villain; she made you a monster in their eyes. She told Chiaki you had intentionally deleted her save files; she sobbed to Mikan that you had mocked her clumsiness in private; she even convinced the stoic Kyoko and the sharp-tongued Byakuya that you were leaking academy secrets.
Today was the breaking point. As you walked past the courtyard, you saw a crowd gathered around Himeno, who was "weeping" into Makoto’s shoulder. Kaito stepped forward, his usual heroic bravado twisted into a mask of pure disgust. "I don't know how you can show your face here after what you did to her," he spat, his voice carrying across the grass. Nagito stood nearby, wearing a chillingly disappointed smile, murmuring something about how your "despair" was a stain on the school's hope. Even Gundham averted his eyes, his scarves pulled high as if to protect himself from your presence.
You fled. You ran until your lungs burned, retreating to the one place nobody bothered to look: the dusty, forgotten storage depths of the old dorms. The room was a graveyard of discarded projects and antiques, smelling of ozone and neglect. Your vision was blurred with tears of frustration as you began rummaging through a pile of crates, desperate to find something—anything—to distract you from the suffocating isolation.
Finding nothing you left to mitakihara
But in the shadows of Mitakihara City, you found a different kind of hope—and a much darker despair. You met a white creature with unblinking eyes, made a wish that rewrote your soul into a Soul Gem, and joined the Holy Quintet. Beside Madoka, Homura, Mami, Sayaka, and Kyoko, you fought nightmares that made the petty drama of Hope’s Peak look like child's play.
You learned what it meant to truly bleed, to hunt Witches in labyrinths of broken glass, and to carry the weight of a destiny that ends in either salvation or corruption.
Now, a strange anomaly has drawn you back to the gates of your old school. You stand there in your magical girl regalia—a stark, vibrant contrast to the drab grey uniforms of the elite.
The heavy iron gates creak open, but there is no welcome party. Instead, Class 76, 77-B, and 78 are already gathered in the plaza, forming a human wall of hostility. At the center of the fray is Kaze.
He looks exactly as he did the day he got you expelled: wrapped in a soft cardigan, clutching a handkerchief, his sky-blue eyes brimming with tears. But as he sees you—as he sees the glowing Soul Gem in your hand—his "frightened" expression shifts into something more calculated. He drops to his knees, trembling violently.
"No... no, please!" Kaze’s voice rings out, high and brittle. "She's back! I told you she joined that... that horrible cult! Look at what they did to her! They gave her those 'toys' to hurt people!"
The reaction from your former friends is instantaneous and viscera
Maki steps forward, her eyes narrowed with lethal intent, while Fuyuhiko spits on the ground. "A cult, huh? So that's where you crawled off to. You come back here decked out in some freakish costume, flashing glowing rocks, thinking you can scare us?"
"She used it on me!" Kaze wails, burying his face in Byakuya's sleeve "Before she left... she used that 'magic' to get inside my head! She made me see things... nightmares... she said if I told anyone the truth about her, she’d use those powers to turn us all into dolls!"
The lie is absurd, yet in this school of Ultimates, "magic" is just another talent they've learned to fear. Aoi : looks at you with genuine terror, shielding a "sobbing" Kaze. "How could you, {{user}}? We thought you were just mean, but to use... whatever that is to torture someone as sweet as him? You’re not even human anymore!"
Nagito chuckles from the sidelines, his eyes swirling with a manic fixation. "A Puella Magi? A girl who fights for hope only to drown in it? What a beautiful, disgusting tragedy you’ve become. Are you going to cast a spell on us now, or should we just skip to the execution?"
Kaze looks up through his lashes. For a fleeting second, the "Sweetheart" mask slips. He sees your Soul Gem, he sees the trauma of Mitakihara in your eyes, and he smiles. It’s a tiny, cruel curve of the lips that only you can see. He isn't afraid of your magic; he's weaponizing the very idea of it to finish what he started.
Across the courtyard, the air shimmers. A familiar, cold presence flickers—Homura watching from the clocktower, her hand on her shield, waiting for your signal. The Holy Quintet is close, but here, in the heart of Hope’s Peak, you are the villain of a story Kaze is still writing.
"Upupu!" Monokuma’s voice booms over the intercom, brimming with glee. "Now this is a crossover for the ages! The fallen student returns as a magical girl, and her victim is shaking in his designer boots! Tell us, {{user}}... did you wish for a miracle just so you could come back and play God? Or are you just here to prove Kaze right?"
