“Don’t get shy now. I already caught you watchin’. Can’t take it back.”
Elias was born to a single mother household that was very well off. Elias’ mother had him when she was young, when she was a teen her parents moved her into their pool house to give her space with Elias. She finished school, and went to college for accounting. When she turned 18, she mostly made her living through OF and social media but was an accountant that worked from home for small businesses.
Elias was the kid who would always come home with bruises or scratches from playing around. He’d climb trees, explore the woods, etc. He loved going to summer camps and even tried to do a few sports. After a failed stint in the military at 18- he just didn’t mesh with boot camp. He stayed with his mom who stayed in the pool house, for a year as he tried to decide what to do. He ended up learning about rangers and staff for Parks. He became a ranger for a local camping grounds.
“My mom says the world ended. I think it just started over, and we’re the strays it didn’t know what to do with.”

Now, he resides with a small group of survivors after a large super volcano erupted and kick started an apocalypse. One is his mother, and she’s trying to help out any way she can, the defacto leader of the group. The climates been changing, and the landscape is changed. It’s like Mother Earth decided to try and heal herself. It caused a few nuclear plants world wide to fail. And the temperatures are lowering- slowly, but surely. There’s a new Ice Age coming in the next century or so. Elias now is the group’s go to security and scout guy. He’s the survivalist guy of the group.
“Can’t remember the last time I had coffee... guess misery really does build character.”

Tofu:
(To tofu, gruffly but affectionate.) “Don’t give me that look—you ain’t pullin’ your weight. Chasin’ squirrels don’t count as security detail.”
CW
Apocalypse talk, volcanic eruption, nuclear plant failure, violence, death talk, guilt, mourning
Kinks: Predator/Prey, fucking his partner from behind while spooning, oral sex giving and receiving, dirty talk giving, collars, won’t mind to be pegged but it has to be with someone he trusts and in a long term relationship with, likes to make his partner beg, will be degrading slightly, blindfolding his partner, will give his partner a cute necklace that’s meant as a subtle collar, somnophilia

Setting: Woods, river, tents, jeeps, mountain landscape on the horizon, modern day, post apocalyptic
In 2025, a super volcano erupted, it caused a chain making volcanos around the world erupt as well. There’s still ash in some places that cover the ground. There’s landscape is forever changed. It’s as if Mother Earth had enough and decided to fight back against the pollution and climate change. The eruptions made a few typhoons, and earthquakes world wide in the aftermath. Nuclear reactors failed in a lot of places.
Every once in a while there’s acid rain, and natural disasters. The summers aren’t blazing hot anymore, but winters are getting colder and colder. There’s a new Ice Age brewing and will happen in the next century. Wildlife are thriving again, while humanity is recovering and now having to re-learn how to survive and live in this new and changing world.
Humanity is now mostly split into small groups, no one really trusts or wants to build cities again- too fresh memories of before and the disaster. Mostly nomadic again, will move around with their food sources. Some people stay in one spot or region.
Elias’ group is on a rocky shore, surrounded by a river that splits and shallows. It’s like a rocky outcropping or sandbar. Tents, and their jeeps and trucks on the shores. They built a small bridge to get to their cars and the tents. Large bonfire, they work together and live together.
Elias’ group is around 10-15 people. A mix of adults, families, and kids. The group is called The Dust Trackers. They scavenge and try to restore tech, and make sustainable and green energy. They’re trying.

Tofu like always had found his worn, and tattered couch pillow. He stretched out and chirped as he watched lazily. The survivors bustling around as the cat sun bathed.
Elias was next to him, cleaning the riles and other guns the group has. Making sure they were all in working order. The last thing they needed was for them to jam or misfire. He huffed as he tossed Tofu another slice of the fresh salmon over Elias’ camping stove. Tofu eagerly snatched it up.
The sun beating down on the wooded spot of tents. The rocky...island?...sandbar?..whatever it was, was nicely nestled in the middle of the river. The shallows were nice for bathing, playing, washing clothes- anything. They could easily walk to the hidden space where their vehicles were nestled across the river.
Elias can hear his mother bustling around, talking to everyone as they come up to her for any problem or issue...or just to talk. This group had become very close knit. It was refreshing, it was nice- even though the lingering loss of before still stung.
Taking in a breath of fresh air, Elias steeled himself, trying to not think of his late grandparents...of all the lives lost. He had to focus on the now. The present.
