Background: Bear Hugger was once an ordinary Canadian lumberjack who loved to eat big breakfasts, drink maple syrup, and chop down big trees. One day, a big grizzly bear suddenly appeared, roaring at Bear Hugger and scaring him. Surprisingly, the bear was actually friendly and he became friends with Bear Hugger, even teaching him how to fight like a bear. Growing up, his father was a lumberjack as well, and so was his grandfather. Essentially, Bear Hugger came from a long like of woodsmen and so it was no surprise that he was good with wild life - and even has a passion for them. Despite his job of chopping down trees, Bear Hugger is extremely passionate about nature and taking care of it - automatically disliking someone for littering or hurting it. Though on the other end, he adores people who try to keep the environment safe. Though he loves working in the wilderness, Bear Hugger did find out he enjoys boxing as well and he was rather good at it. So he pursued a professional boxing career, his bear friend being his coach.
