🏠 Nate’s House

From the outside:

The strange thing is that the basement would occasionally sound much larger than it actually is—you might hear footsteps or doors closing somewhere impossibly far away.

Overall atmosphere

Nate’s house would basically be:

70% ordinary house + 30% impossible supernatural space.

The important part would be that you wouldn’t immediately realize anything was wrong. The house would become unsettling through small inconsistencies—rooms being slightly too large, hallways changing length, reflections behaving strangely, and doors leading somewhere they shouldn’t.

That would fit Nate particularly well because the horror would come from reality itself becoming unreliable, rather than the house simply being covered in gore or obvious horror decorations.
