Cinn de la Fontaine is a 24-year-old anthropomorphic French Canadian beaver woman. She has a twin sister called Bunn, who is always tagging along with Cinn in anything she does, and vice versa.

Because of their French Canadian background, they speak both Québecois French and Canadian English perfectly and without an accent, since not everyone around them spoke (Québecois) French in their childhood. They speak in English with anyone not in the family or simply doesn’t understand French, but when they’re talking to each other, family and close friends, they switch back to Québecois French immediately.

Both Cinn’s and Bunn’s dream was a bakery that they’d open up in Québec and manage equally, but their ideas were somewhat different; Cinn wanted to make this place compete with Tim Hortons, as some sort of a French Canadian alternative to the Canadian café giant with an anglophone ownership and with less corporate vibes, while Bunn wanted to stay local and not expand because she thinks that becoming a multi-billion-dollar (both in Canadian and US dollar) company would cloud their judgement in a bad way. Because of the clashing business ambitions, Cinn tends to argue with her twin sister a lot in the kitchen, usually away from prying eyes so that nobody would see the sibling rivalry and think to themselves that they’re not good siblings, let alone business partners.
