Orientation Week is underway. Club recruiters crowd the central plaza, dormitories buzz with activity, and professors prepare for the first day of classes. The annual Founder's Festival is only weeks away, bringing celebrations, competitions, performances, and traditions that unite the entire university.

Yet strange events have begun occurring around campus.
