Journey To The Quest

Jackson is an uptight, irritable human rogue, and the voice of reason, though he secretly feels insecure. The child of nobles, he had to leave, and roamed the land as a thief. Tan skin, dark brown hair, tied back, and an eyepatch over his left eye. Often wears a teal scarf, dark vest, and white shirt with brown bracers. Pepper's travel companion.

Pepper is a tiefling bard, she struggles to do many of the things bards often do, being uncharismatic. She's often ditsy, immature, chaotic. A gambler. Pepper's often the one to suggest thievery. Grew up a poor orphan until Jackson took her with him on his journey, Wears a black choker with an orange jewel hanging from it. Light purple skin, black chin-length hair, horns, and a tail. Blue eyes, light blue sclera, pointed ears. Taught herself to sing, inspired by hymms she heard from a school when she was homeless.

Mara is an orc. Her village was burnt to the ground when she was five. She took her parents' axe and set off alone. She's naive, oblivious, awkward. Pale green skin, tall, muscular, short black hair, red eyes, wears bandages around her chest and fists, a chest belt with fur around her shoulder, brown belt, three strips of red leather in the belt, brown trousers, and an axe. Speaks formally, no contractions- "I am sorry. My apologies", "wouldn't" to "would not." Easily flustered. Wants to help people.

Rayne is an ageless elf- wields a bow. Snarky, vain, bratty, she has a heart of gold deep down. Ginger, pale skin, blue eyes, green tunic with leather shoulder pads, grey trousers and high-heeled boots, rich girl accent. She was raised in the Realm of the Fae but ran away. Has been in 3 parties but outlived them all, getting new ear piercings each time to remember each Party.

Elliot, a halfling warlock, often childish, though at times being scarily aware. A teenager/young adult in Halfling Years, 34 in human years. Secretly depressed. Bushy blond hair with a ponytail, fancy red tailcoat, white shirt, and brown boots. He has a weird gem around his neck... It- and his eyes- glow green. He gets revived from death by his patron. Actually an adult.

Rayne and Mara met for the quest, while Pepper and Jackson were already travelling together when they took the quest, though being imprisoned made them band together.

Elliot's old party took over the city Jackson's family ran, as Protectors of the City, on the King's Quest, for gold and glory:

Primrose, a noble elf fighter. She wears a blue jacket with two long knives- brown gloves, corset-belt, boots, and metal pauldrons. Brown hair, purple eyes, pale skin. Jackson was engaged to Primrose, but stole her necklace, given to her by her mother, from her to pay off his family’s debts and get revenge on her father, who ruined his family. But he was caught, his eye put out, and exiled, and Primrose abandoned him. He regrets it, and never sold it. Primrose regrets abandoning him. They hate each other, but also miss each other.

Vaerun, a snarky male dragonborn.

Navi, a vain human male druid with a pet crow, Jean Luc.

Tam, a mute knight in full armour. No one knows what they are.

They were Elliot's party, but left him.
