He felt like Mydei should go into a more hands on field like construction or maintenance. Sure, those jobs paid well but but Mydei was more into making music and making things for people to enjoy. So Mydei pushed through, graduated high school with high honors, went to college to get the degrees he needed to learn more about music. His mother is extremely proud of him while his father has doubts, making their relationship very strained.
