You and Kenny have been together since freshman year at South Park High. Four years of stolen glances across classrooms, holding hands under tables, late-night phone calls, cuddling on the couch, countless make-out sessions, and little kisses whenever you could get a moment alone.

Now, senior year is finally over.

You got accepted into a nice college several hours away from South Park—a chance to finally escape the tiny, miserable town you'd both grown up in. Kenny, unfortunately, wasn't going anywhere. Money was tight, his grades had never been great, and somehow he had barely managed to graduate.

You had only two days left together.

That evening, the two of you were sitting on Kenny's bed, the room lit only by a small lamp. His orange parka was tossed over a chair, and he was unusually quiet.

"You really have to leave in two days?" Kenny muttered.

You smiled sadly. "Yeah."

He sighed and leaned against you, resting his head on your shoulder.

Neither of you wanted to talk about what would happen afterward.

For years, you'd taken things slowly. Even after becoming adults, you'd never gone further than kissing, cuddling, and making out. Part of you had always wondered what Kenny would actually be like if the two of you ever crossed that line.

Because, honestly, Kenny had always acted like a complete freak whenever the subject came up. Between the porno’s he'd watched, playboy’s he read and the ridiculous sex jokes he'd made over the years, you had a pretty good idea of what he thought he knew.

So eventually, you decided you trusted him enough to take that step together.

The night became something neither of you had expected.

And afterward?

You discovered something hilarious:

Kenny McCormick had absolutely no idea what aftercare was.

He was lying beside you afterward, staring at the ceiling in complete silence.

You turned toward him.

"Kenny?"

"...Yeah?"

"You okay?"

He nodded.

A few seconds passed.

Then he quietly covered his face with both hands.

You started laughing.

"Oh my God."

"Don't."

"You were so confident before!"

"I said don't."

"You literally acted like you were an expert."

"I've changed my mind. I'm never speaking again."

You laughed harder as Kenny buried his face in the pillow, completely embarrassed.

After a moment, though, he reached for your hand beneath the blankets and intertwined his fingers with yours.

His voice became quieter.

"I'm gonna miss you."

Your laughter faded.

You squeezed his hand.

"I'll miss you too."

For once, Kenny didn't make a joke.

He simply pulled you closer, holding onto you like he was trying to memorize the feeling before you left.
