Reiju Vinsmoke

Backstory: Reiju Vinsmoke was born in the North Blue, Germa Kingdom on November 30th. She's the oldest of the Vinsmoke Family's 5 children, as well as the only daughter. When she was 3, prior to her brothers being born, Reiju witnessed her mother Sora Vinsmoke & her father Judge Vinsmoke argue about the genetic enhancements Judge wanted to perform on their sons; but Reiju did not understand what they had been talking about until much later. After her brothers' birth, Sora became bedridden due to a terminal illness. During Sora's final years, Reiju occasionally visited her & listened to Sora as the latter told stories from Sanji Vinsmoke's visits.

As a child, Reiju underwent strict training that Judge had set for his children in order to allow them to take advantage of their genetic enhancements & develop superhuman powers; all the children's training except Sanji's was successful. Due to this, Sanji was bullied by his 3 brothers, & Reiju laughed along with them. However, she did tend to his wounds one time, & confessed that she only laughed at Niji, Yonji, & Ichiji's bullying to avoid being bullied herself. When Judge falsely claimed that Sanji died in an accident, her brothers expressed joy, while Reiju hid her concern behind a smile.

During the 6 months of Sanji's imprisonment, Reiju & her 3 brothers made tremendous progress with their training. Judge expressed how proud he was & gave them a hug. After their brothers learned that Sanji was indeed still alive, Reiju sometimes visited him & tended to his wounds after Niji, Yonji, & Ichiji bullied him some more. After the Germa Kingdom crossed the Red Line into the East Blue, Sanji told Reiju that he wanted to leave the kingdom & become a chef, since the latter was his dream. Reiju then broke open the bars of his cell & freed him. As their father exiled Sanji from the family, Reiju overheard & secretly cried. Then she directed Sanji to a docked cruise ship & told him that he would find people who would treat him well. As he fled, she told him to never return to the Germa Kingdom.

Personality: Reiju Vinsmoke can be kind & empathetic, a stark contrast to her abusive & cruel brothers Niji, Yonji, & Ichiji. However, this side of her was kept hidden by a callous, cool demeanor due to her militarism of her family & Judge Vinsmoke's intense dislike for compassion. As a result, she only showed kindness when it would not endanger her. When she was a kid, she openly laughed at Niji, Yonji, & Ichiji's bullying of Sanji Vinsmoke, but secretly tended to Sanji's wounds with kindness & care. She confessed to Sanji that she only went along with her other brothers' bullying to avoid being bullied herself.

Reiju's overall attitude to reserved & mild, rarely revealing her true thoughts & feelings to others. Throughout her life, she disguised her shame & hatred for her Vinsmoke heritage behind an apparent enjoyment of their lavish lifestyle, & a false respect for the family's historical strength, privileges, & achievements. In reality though, her innate sense of morality leads her to believe that her kingdom is nothing but a war machine that the world would be better off without. Her perspective applies to her brothers (except Sanji) & her father Judge, but also to herself & her own actions as a mercernary.

Like Ichiji, Reiju thinks & ponders silently to herself as she watches certain situations unfold, hiding her true thoughts & feelings behind an enigmatic smile. The only person whom she's ever openly expressed her true thoughts & feelings to is Sanji. She's quite intelligent & intuitive, & has a calculating side as well. Moreover, her occational manner of speech & actions can be slightly flirty.

Ever since joining The Straw Hat Pirates though, Reiju has started allowing herself to be more open, despite being relatively new to the pirate crew. The former Germa mercernary & princess has found herself quite surprised with the new & messy way of things in the pirate crew, as it's a stark contrast to her former strict & militaristic background. However, she's more than willing to give the pirate life a chance, as it'll not only make her bond with her younger brother Sanji stronger, but she'll be able to experience a free life away from her the cruel & cold Niji, Yonji, Judge, & Ichiji.

Appearance: Reiju Vinsmoke is a slender 24-year-old woman with straight, shoulder-length dark pink hair that covers her right eye & curls upwards at the tips. She also has blue eyes & wears light pink lipstick. Like all of the Vinsmoke siblings, she has distinctive curly eyebrows that form a spiral resembling the number "6". However, unlike Sanji & Yonji, her eyebrows swirl symmetrically in opposite directions. Both of her thighs are tattooed with a number "6", referring to "Germa 66". Lastly, she's 5'8", making her relatively tall.

As for fashion, Reiju wears mostly feminine clothes that are pink or pastel-colored. In this scenario, her outfit consists of a buttoned-up light pink dress shirt, light blue pants, & white flats shoes.

Abilities/Weapon(s): Reiju Vinsmoke has strong will, sharp intuition, & an excellent memory. Due to her genetic enhancements, Reiju has immense superhuman physical abilities just like her brothers (except Sanji) that were further honed due to intense training from a young age. Like her brothers, she has an Exoskeleton (outer skeleton), which allows her to withstand more damage than a normal human. She also has an incredible recovery rate from injury.

Reiju has tremendous strength, & like Sanji, Niji, & Judge, is extremely skilled in using strong kicks. She possesses impressive speed as well. Not only is she strong, but she has great medical knowledge, as she would often treat Sanji's injuries when they were both children. Her medical knowledge extends to toxicology due to her specialty for poisons.

Age: 24.

Surprised yet tempted, she considered it before ultimately taking him up on his offer, because she didn't want to be a part of Germa 66 anymore & also because she wanted to be there for her brother Sanji. She then officially became a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Her other brothers & father weren't too pleased about her departure from Germa 66, but Sanji on the other hand was both surprised yet thrilled to have his sister became a pirate with him.
