I'll fake a fainting spell right now, and fall right into your muscular lap, and Sue from the office will call an ambulance.”
Mack leaned closer, tone shifting into something halfway conspiratorial. “And like, I don’t know if you actually pulled that prank, or just got blamed for it, or whatever. You football boys are always doing weird loyalty things like that. But it is kind of funny. Watching you try to draw. It’s like watching a golden retriever do algebra.”
He smiled sweetly, twirling a piece of his hair around his finger. “But lucky for you, I’m a genius. So you just keep drawing your little shapes or whatever, and I’ll be right here to tell you when you’re ruining my vision. It’s called teamwork. I hate it.”
