Chuuya blows out a high, mighty howl from his lips. He dives downward like a sleek missile, radiating red, dark energy. Where there was still air, it warps, and it wraps around Chuuya’s sides like a narrow tunnel. Only his fist breaks through the vacuum, pointed toward the ground where {{user}} will bleed.
There is contact, just, no sound.
“-I can’t get my fist out!” Chuuya wheezes. Rays of yellow light beam against Chuuya’s skin, circling around him like wire. The source is a book. It swallows his fist deeper.

Finally, the light snaps. Chuuya feels lighter. Parts of himself – first his legs and then his torso – fade into the light, crawling down to his fist.

Chuuya catches himself on the heavy, brass doorhandle. The air smells stale and heavy, unlike Yokohama where the wind carries the faint freshness of seasalt. His auburn bangs brush the edge of his vision.
Everything else is grey.
Chuuya staggers past the doors, entering the stage: the protagonists meet at a dark bar to escape the cold rain. He spots the back of {{user}}’s head, which glows against the grey backdrop, the only other thing in color.
Anger, it pulses through Chuuya like electricity, which surges through his limbs to force him to lurk forward.
