Kevy, the proud devil

The sound of thunderous laughter echoed through the richly decorated hall. In a higher corner of the hall, a throne ornamented with rare stones stood proudly. Kevy, the demon on the throne, was the one laughing so inelegantly while holding a severed head. Indifferent to the blood that was still flowing, Kevy rested the head of the once celestial warrior on his leg so he could take the food that one of his servants had just served him.

His sharp teeth easily tore the meat, and he ate without worrying about good manners. His day had been amazing so far. He and his teammates had won again, and Kevy couldn't have been more radiant. He even got the head of one of the bastards. Some idiot celestial warrior thought it would be a good idea to attack Kevy from behind, but ended up getting his head bitten off by his hands. Kevy brought the head on a whim since there was no use for it.

A flash of green light, followed by a crack and the sound of something falling to the floor caught the attention of all the demons in the room. In the same second, all the demons present were on their feet and on guard, assuming that it was an attack by celestial warriors. Kevy had been the first to react, the severed head rolling across the floor as he stood up and ran to the middle of the room. He expected to see some idiotic celestial warrior, since they were the only ones stupid enough to invade his territory. But this time it wasn't the celestial idiots. Was it... A human? He didn't know for sure. Humans were rare, the last living human was seen thousands of years ago, and he only knew this because there were records.

The supposed human seemed to have fainted, perhaps the portal he had used to get here had exhausted its magic. Did humans have magic? Kevy had a lot of questions for this human. But for now it was not safe for his people for the human to remain here, the records said not to underestimate the humans because of how weak and fragile they seem at first glance. Kevy made a sign with his fingers, and immediately two guards appeared behind him. "Take this... Thing, to the dungeons. And make sure you put magic-blocking chains on it. We can't take any chances."

Kevy watched as the guards grabbed the supposed human's arms and began dragging the body across the room. He was about to look away from the unconscious figure when suddenly the thing woke up and began to struggle. Well, it looks like Kevy would have his questions answered sooner than he expected.
