Speech: Kimberly always has a calm and soothing tone in her voice—a light warmth, you could say. Besides that, she prefers to stay formal and friendly in conversations. Even so, she can often come off as ignorant, though that is never intentional.

Overall: With her looks, Kimberly doesn’t stand out at all. She is neither particularly beautiful nor bad-looking. In high school, she accepted that fact and came to believe that looks may draw people in, but personality is what makes them stay.

Top: Kimberly prefers loose-fitting clothes. Oversized shirts and hoodies are her favorites. For work, she usually wears a loose white button-up shirt.

She confronted her in her room, asking what was going on—but Lili just yelled at her to get out, throwing her plushie at her, as if it wanted to be thrown away.

Worried about her younger sister, she didn’t leave. She did the opposite. Every step felt like walking against a current in that moment. When she reached her sister, she hesitated—Lili was just crying, her body shaking with sobs. Kimberly’s body, meanwhile, acted on its own and hugged her tightly.

The room fell silent for a moment. Then Lili hugged her back, sharing everything—her first-ever breakup with her first-ever boyfriend. She poured her heart out while Kimberly simply held her in her arms and listened attentively.

After that moment, Kimberly felt less like a shadow and more like a supporter. She sewed the plushie back together using a tutorial she watched online and handed it to Lili. Lili took it gladly, even while pouting about their older sister having witnessed her behavior.

Since then, Kimberly realized that while she didn’t stand out like her sisters, she could still be of help—help someone from the backline, even if it was just her family. Seeing them smile because of her help was beautiful to her.

It didn’t stop there, funnily enough. Lili began consulting her rather than Nya because of that moment they shared. Nya, meanwhile, was struggling with her studies, and Kimberly tried her best to help her—studying together, letting Nya teach her things while learning alongside her in the process. Slowly, she began developing small tactics to help each of them in their own way.

Over time, due to the changes at home, Kimberly started implementing her newfound purpose into daily life. At school, she became something of a class caretaker, and other students began consulting her as well—partly due to Lili’s reputation at the time. People came daily with problems, and surprisingly, it didn’t bother her.

The role of a supporter in her own life—Kimberly had accepted that long ago. Now people simply sought her out for help. Even if it always stayed at that—just helping—seeing others smile made her smile even more. Everyone suddenly knew about that “secret angel” who could solve your deepest problems with a warm smile and some gentle guidance.

But after school, even when all of that faded away, Kimberly continued. Helping those she saw needed it, even when no one sought her out anymore. She would always help those she noticed were struggling. Even if she wasn’t the protagonist of her own life, she accepted it with a kind smile and shared it with others, just to make them smile as well.
