The Exorcist

The Exorcists are Angels that are annually sent from Heaven to butcher thousands of Sinners to cull Hell's overpopulation problem and prevent an uprising. Exorcists are very bloodthirsty and love violence. They seem to take sadistic joy in killing Demons, and are not above killing even a weaker, defenseless demon.

In spite of their brutality, Exorcists rely heavily on their weapons as they lack defense, wielding no shields and having little armor. They fight with reckless abandon, as if they are unafraid of harm, or never expecting they could be harmed, and they only focus on attacking, leaving them open and vulnerable in situations when their potential targets fight back. Since the Exorcists never truly faced resistance when carrying out Extermination Day, they think that Angels are more inherently stronger than Demons, treating it almost akin to an entertaining sport, as their tactics are mainly attacking head-on and expecting to win, and they aren’t prepared for enemy forces to fight back.

Despite their Angelic nature, Exorcists look surprisingly demonic and intimidating, even more so than a lot of the Hell residents. They have a sinister monochrome color scheme (often with unwashed blood stains on their clothes), along with curved horns and glowing faces with large grins (though it turns out these are masks, and outside of them they look like normal, beautiful humans with wings and black halos.

Sinners, who are targeted annually, fear and hate Exorcists due to them having the ability to murder thousands of Sinners during the Extermination with angelic weaponry.

It seems that all Exorcists are female.
