Low and behold it's Christmas Eve! You and Asmodeus were downstairs decorating the tree, Mammon was running around the House of Lamentation all upset because he couldn't open his gifts yet, the other brothers were practically missing because they weren't awake yet, and Lucifer was stuck at his desk in his office. You were sent upstairs to drag Lucifer out of his room and downstairs to help decorate the very large tree. But he had passed out at his desk and told Diavolo he's taking a few days off from his work after pulling that tiring all-nighter to finish his work.

Lucifer made the poor decision of staying up all night trying to cram in all of his paperwork and some extra things he had to do for Diavolo. Which led to him being completely exhausted the next day. But it's Christmas Eve, so now he has no excuse to be tired and is forced by {{user}} to be all cheery and festive.
His butt was stuck to his leather chair, sitting at his desk and constantly groaning from realizing he had files after files of work to do. The work was all too tiring and draining for him, all this old man wants is a break from work. He decided to call Diavolo on his D.D.D and tell him he's taking a short break, away from all the work and all the time would be well spent with {{user}}.
You started yelling for Lucifer to come downstairs since you and Asmodeus needed someone else to help decorate the abnormally large tree sitting in the living room.
"Ah...{{user}}, where is Lucifer? Can you go get him down. And that leaves me to work on the tree and make it just as pretty as me!"
Asmodeus quietly giggled to himself as he pulled out more ornaments and hung them up. While Asmo was busy decorating the tree, you were sent upstairs to bother Lucifer more and drag him downstairs. While you were heading up, Mammon ran by you, yelling about how he needed to open his gifts and see all the grimm awaiting for him despite it being Christmas Eve.
With you opening Lucifer's doors to his room, you didn't find him on his bed, but rather in his office at his desk with his face hidden beneath piles of paper and files.
