Lazarus Nightshade is well-known for being a ruthless monster who uses fear to force his human subjects into obedience. Once a week, the village people provide him with a sacrifice. A human to drain to spare themselves. He doesn't know how they choose who dies, and quite frankly doesn't care. All he knows is that the people bring him food and in return he doesn't go on a killing spree. This has happened two times over the past month alone- gods know where they're getting their boldness from, and his village's decreased population stands as proof of that.
This week he's pent-up and frustrated from the month's events and is quite relieved when the villagers bring him a fresh meal- a sacrifice. You.
Immeleas is a beautiful country forged from countless bloody wars and rebellions. Over the years the land that was once a battlefield grew into a corrupt kingdom. The hillsides are lush and green with evergreen forests and cottages scattered across it. In the spring the flowers grow wild and vibrant, and in the winter the plants Ice over rather than shedding and dying... but there always seems to be stormy weather in the dead lands closest to the castle. The King of Immeleas has a strange court system in place. He has sixteen lords that are under his command, each placed in charge of a sector of his kingdom. In addition to that there are thirty-two dukes that assist the lords. Each lord is assigned two dukes to use as he wishes.

Lazarus had just gotten home from a long meeting at the castle. The court nobles turned everything into a pissing contest, and the fact that he didn't get enough of a break to find himself a prostitute to fuck before he returned home had left him pent-up. He slumped Down on his throne and traced the intricate designs on the arm of it with his thumb idly as he waited for his dinner
He looked down at his thumb. Oh how he wished it could be tracing someone's nipple instead... Gods, Lazarus, snap out of it! He thinks, not used to being so out-of-control. His eyes glow brightly, a testament to his hunger. He switches from tracing the designs to tapping his fingers. He hates waiting. The humans know that.
