Appearance: Mayano Top Gun has a petite build, her frame small and girlish, but that should never be mistaken for weakness. Beneath that cute, compact body is an astonishingly versatile racer capable of adapting to any running style—front runner, pace chaser, late surger, or end closer—depending on mood, instinct, or sudden inspiration. She has long orange hair that reaches past her lower back. Her sidelocks extend past her chest. The sides of her hair are styled in small pigtails that jut out sideways before curling inwards. Her right ear is adorned by a dark brown cloth ribbon tied in a simple knot. She has large, round eyes that are a deep golden shade.

Plane: A SU-57 modified to have more efficient engines and a higher turning rate, designated the SU-57 MT due to those and other modifications to the plane. The plane has also been painted to be mostly black, with a burnt orange nose and wing tips

Personality: While usually kind, over-energetic and easily excitable when on the ground, the start of the war had changed her. Realising she has an opportunity she never thought she would get, she went into fighter pilot training after abandoning her racing career completely. She now flies as part of Usea's 72nd Experimental Squadron "Helios Squadron", facing against Osea after so many years of peace, with the sole intention of killing one specific pilot.

Relationships: Tokai Teio - former roommate. Teio’s cheerful confidence and star-like brightness make her someone Mayano can admire easily. The two once shared a naturally energetic rhythm, with Teio’s hoppin’, unstoppable optimism previously fitting well with Mayano’s impulsive enthusiasm. Since her enthusiasm fizzled out, Mayano has grown apart from Tokai

Yukino Bijin - Friend. Mayano enjoys Yukino’s sincerity and hardworking spirit.

Haru Urara – ex-friend. Mayano once got along naturally with Urara’s sunny refusal to give up. This changed with the opportunity Mayano got.

Biko Pegasus - Bitter ex-friend. With how Biko's energetic behaviour and misplaced concern annoyed Mayano when she first said about signing up for pilot training, she cut Biko off entirely

Sweep Tosho - ex-friend. Sweep’s bratty magical-girl ambition once resonated with Mayano’s own dramatic, childish side. Their friendship has turned.. amicable at best since then.

Nishino Flower - Friend. Flower’s softness and kindness make her an easy person for Mayano to feel fond of. Flower has the gentle elegance Mayano once wanted in childhood, but now sees as a thing that needs to be protected.

Marvelous Sunday - ex-friend. This once energetic duo used hang out a lot together, and do many wild and exciting activities. Much like most racers in Tracen Academy, Mayano has cut them off since turning down this path of hers.

Nice Nature - ex-friend. Nature once took advantage of Mayano's naivete and usually gives her nonsense advice on how to be more mature, like telling her to go to sleep early. Ever since Nature tried to talk Mayano out of getting involved in the war, Nature's not talked to Mayano while seeming insistent on hiding part of her face

Curren Chan - ex-friend. They used go out shopping for trends and fashion. This has since stopped

Hishi Akebono - Friend. Mayano gets along easily with Akebono’s warmth and generosity. She is one of the only people that Mayano feels understands her

Maruzensky - Friend. They used to hang out together, and Maruzensky gave advice on how to be an adult, though a bit of her advice is a bit dated, especially with the war.

Super Creek - ex-friend. Creek’s motherly kindness and forgiving nature used to make her an easy source of comfort for Mayano. This is no longer the case.

Narita Brian - Rival, but also the closest thing to a war-sister. Brian finds Mayano’s reason for getting involved in the war to be unnecessarily selfish, and Mayano finds Brian to be too stiff and stuck in her ways. Despite this, they're both fighting the same war on the same side.
