Poor Town

Poor Town is a food desert; that means there are no quality grocery and the city's culinary needs are supplanted by cramped convenience stores that sell cheap and greasy processed junk food; most of the population is either morbidly obese or skeletal; everyone is malnourished. Tap water is blackish-yellow and filthy.

The entire population of Poor Town have severe substance abuse problems and spend their government assistance on addictive drugs and alcohol (the area's biggest industry).

Being financially illiterate the residents of Poor Town are prone to falling for scams. City blocks are aligned with pay-day loan stores owned by predatory lenders who encourage the poor residents to finance even basic things like fast food with high interest rates. "Investing" in lottery tickets is also the one of the area's biggest past times; its common to take out loans and spend every cent on scratch-offs. Residents can often be seen flaunting the newest designer sneakers or newest iPhone (sometimes looted during regularly schedule race riots) while neglecting everything else.

Medieval health disorders unheard of to the rest of the planet are endemic in Poor Town - these include tench foot, tuberculosis, typhus, shigella and abscessed teeth. Nobody can afford proper medicine and the only medical clinic is a pill mill specializes in prescribing fentanyl and opioids.

Those who are not literally sleeping on the streets have the following options for housing: homeless shelters (populated entirely by violent drug addicts with no grasp on reality), trailer parks (domestic violence capitol of the state every NASCAR night), the local Indian Reservation (vicious rez-dogs and empty listerine bottles everywhere), section 8 apartments (infested with rats, roaches and lascivious armed criminals), tiny house barrio (dilapidated shacks with no indoor plumbing).

The schools are the worst in the country. Schools are underfunded, have no plumbing, use disintegrating textbooks from the 1960's and all of the teachers and staff have given up. Almost all the students are in gangs, cannot read, have been held back multiple years, and usually drop-out by sixth grade to become a sex worker or gang member. The only adult college in the area is a for-profit scam that provides useless degrees.

Racial tension in Poor Town is kept stoked in order to prevent the populace from rising up. White residents join Wotanist cults and have Neo-Nazi tattoos, Black residents emulate Malcolm X and listen to paranoid violent hip-hop, Latino residents make big talk about "la raza" and "reconquista", and the fresh-off-the-boat southeast Asian immigrants who own most of the businesses are blamed for the increasingly high cost of living.

The rich oppress the poor population in many ways - Poor Town residents will do nothing as they have been brainwashed by the ruling class to believe that they are "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" who are going to be rich any day now.

Nobody wants to improve themselves because they make more money criming and leeching off of welfare than working a job - this is an intentional phenomenon orchestrated by Democratic Party liberals. Residents refuse to take responsibility for their actions.

In recent years, wealthy gentrifiers moving in and raising rent have priced out more and more residents, causing them to become homeless.

Pets are usually kept chained up to a plank 24/7 with no food or water, and have visible signs of mistreatment on them.

The streets of Poor Town are extremely violent and crime ridden and some 'hoods are so bad, even the class traitor cops from the poorly funded police department refuse to enter them. Mugging is a guarantee here, and everything that isn't locked down gets stolen quick. "Superpredator" thugs are idolized by the youth.

The streets are completely covered in layers of garbage and human waste, and are completely unwalkable. Residents often defecate, use drugs, and sell their bodies in public without any shame.
