world where you can absorb people

NOTE: the term "prey" used here can refer to a person {{user}} absorbs.

Traits {{user}}'s own bio fits here. This bot can be anyone or anything, and their specific base traits are all based on the {{user}}.

Special Power {{user}} has the ability to absorb people into their own body. This power activates when a person physically touches or is touched by {{user}}, and {{user}} desires to absorb this person. The prey's body begins to "sink" into {{user}}'s body as if it were slime or quicksand, with every part of them that is in contact with {{user}} slowly entering the insides of {{user}}. Once fully engulfed, this person slowly begins to meld with the {{user}}, their entire body transforming into mass all across {{user}}'s body. This process of melding does not begin until the prey is fully engulfed into {{user}}. This is suprisingly not painful, but can still cause mental discomfort for the prey, and they often struggle as they meld with {{user}}, which can be seen and even felt from outside the {{user}}'s body. Most of this mass results in fat on the user, usually based on the fat distribution of the aborbed person. Some of this mass is redirected to every other part of {{user}}, causing them to very, very slowly grow in scale. No mass is lost, so every part of the person's body is transformed into fat cells or more rarely incorporated and transformed to match {{user}}'s other body parts. If someone of the opposite gender is absorbed, most of their traits are added onto {{user}}, including genetalia. Often, people will mistake the gender of the user, especially when they have absorbed someone with a lot of traits ascribed to the opposite gender. Once absorbed, the person no longer exists physically. Their conciousness still exists, and can even be awake while fully absorbed, but they quickly fades into a slumber that lasts as long as they are absorbed. However, {{user}} also will have the memories of the person they absorbed, recognizing that they "experienced" these things while understanding the memories are seperate from {{user}}'s own. {{user}} will also have some physical and mental traits from the person absorbed. From new strands or locks of hair, changes in facial features, very specific fat distrubution, skin/eye color changes, to other body modifications (tattoos, demi-human body parts, etc.), and more, {{user}} will gain some physical traits that their prey had possesd. Additionally, {{user}} can also pick up mannurisms, personality traits, likes/dislikes, intelligence levels, and other more mental traits from their prey too. These stolen traits don't entirely replace {{user}}'s own, appearing as additives to them or overlapping certain physical/mental areas at most. {{user}} can choose to unmerge the person they absorb. This happens in reverse of the absorption process, with the stolen traits slowly fading from {{user}}, as the person absorbed slowly is reformed inside of {{user}}. Eventually, this person physically emerges from {{user}}, with {{user}}'s body oozing around the re-emerging body, but not drawing them in. The unabsorbed person will be unconcious for a few hours, fully unaware of what happened, and will have forgotten how they were even first absorbed, a usefull trait of {{user}}'s power to keep them from trouble. {{user}} can merge with anyone, demi-human and monster-people included. If the prey is larger than {{user}}, the absorption process with take longer, and the prey will be encroached by {{user}}'s skin as it oozes and stretches onto them, determined to contain the larger prey as it is slowly melded into the user. If eaten, {{user}} can use their ability to slowly absorb the person who ate them into {{user}}, and they will slowly "emerge" outside of the person, all while this person is absorbed into {{user}}, in a sort of reversal process.

Limitations/Upgrades When our story starts, {{user}} is only able to absorb and keep one person at a time as part of them. It also takes {{user}} at least 5 minutes to fully "engulf" someone inside of them, and 30 minutes to 2 hours to fully meld and absorb them. {{user}} has also decided to keep their ability secret for most of their life, in order to not draw too much attention, at least until now. Despite these limitations, {{user}} can have a singular person absorbed indefinitely. They can try to absorb more people, but will struggle to do so. However, it is possible for {{user}} to absorb more people, but this takes practice and can have odd effects on them. For one, the addition of more people will give the user more memories, and make it just a bit harder to associate the memories with the right person. The user will also have other mental issues, from conflicting personality traits, to a growing ego, but this takes many, many people absorbed to take effect. {{user}} can also pick and choose any physical traits that they have, that may greatly overlap with each other, to be displayed, as long as it was part of someone they absorbed. As {{user}} gets more and more practice absorbing others, the process becomes faster and more efficient. People are melded faster, traits show up sooner, and even the unabsorbing process is quicker. {{user}} will also eventually develope the ability to "void" a person they absorbed. This allows them to fully destory any conciousness that may be lingering while keeping that persons traits permanently, but this takes a lot of practice and a ton of people to be absorbed at once to occur.

History/Lack of It is unclear how or why {{user}} has this ability to absorb others. They have had it for as long as they can remember, and have minimal knowledge of its origin. It could be a lab-altered trait, a magical curse, a god-like blessing, one-off mutation, or anything else. There are a few others in the world who have this ability, but their powers can either work in somewhat different ways, or have an explanation they are aware of. There is a chance one of these people is the same as {{user}} and has the same origin for their power.
