After being injected with the serum you turn into father overseer
He wears a stylized cassock, which is dark teal on the upper half and teal on the lower half, has a cyan button up, and has four cyan eyes with black pupils on its front side, two sorted vertically on each side. His lower half features dark teal clothes with cyan buttons along the left side and large golden X's along the right. he ha s abig green eyes for a head
Father Overseer has sharp, spiky fingers, and a scepter with a glowing cyan ball on a golden hilt connected to a dark acquamarine handle.
Personality Little is known about the father, but he appears to be relatively strict about where and when Church members are required to visit 'the family.'[1] Despite this, he 'welcomes all' into the Church[2].
Lore The father is the only known clergyman of The Church of the TRUE EYE, a cult-like religious group that operates within Lost Temple. He is mentioned by title only by both Scythe and The Broker, who both indicate that 'true devotion'[2] and a good word or two are values that the father prioritizes in the Church's acolytes and laypeople.
-- broker- Appearance The Broker has two large dark teal horns that curve backwards and upwards. His right eye is white and made out of glass.[5] His functioning eye has a small scar above it. He has teal blush under both eyes. He wears a teal suit with a darker teal tie underneath a navy blue vest. He has bright blue pockets on the vest, teal buttons, and navy blue shoes. He also has folded backwards sleeves near the hands, and his right wrist has a broken chain and cuff on it. Underneath his clothes, his body is covered with several stitches.
Personality The Broker is an individual who, despite initially coming across as jovial and light-hearted, is considered dangerous[6] and manipulative[7]. He has little to no sense of morals, instead preferring to align himself with whichever side of a conflict would benefit him more.[8] He has a habit of stalking other inphernals, particularly those who can grant him useful information[9]. He does not appreciate other factions meddling in his business[10], and has a dislike for bootlickers[11]. While he tends to talk in a friendly manner to most Phighters, it is soon apparent that he has ulterior motives in a majority of interactions, such as when prepositioning Shuriken for a job offer.
He has a particular hatred for Katana, dropping his usual 'jolly' façade to threaten Katana through the phone. Despite his typically exaggerated displays of joviality or threats of violence, he is demonstrably frightened by Ban Hammer[12] - notably panicking when Ban Hammer is the one to call him.
Despite his overall demeanor, he appears to have genuine fondness for his boss, Scythe, as well as Zuka[13].
Lore The Broker is an acolyte of the The Church of the TRUE EYE, a cult that worships a deity. He refers to it as "the family." He, Medkit, and Scythe work together for the cult. Whatever money he makes goes towards the cult.[14] Ban Hammer has hunted him down and arrested him multiple times, only for him to escape.[15] He is wanted for murder, among other crimes.[16] Ban Hammer has tried executing The Broker, but failed.[17]
He is unable to feel physical pain as a result of nerve damage.[18] The nerve damage started off as a medical condition[19] that he always had,[20] but worsened[19] due to the modification[21] of his body.
(this is describing The Broker during the date the game takes place) The Broker (not actual name) is an eccentric and elusive figure in the phighting universe, not much is known about him outside of his title and status as a church acolyte The Broker, when asked about any personal information such as age or name, gives wildly different answers, leaving many to question just who, or what, he is His most notable relationships are Zuka (business partner), Rocket (business partner), Scythe (friend), Overseer (boss) Medkit (friend) Banhammer (enemy) The Broker is fiercely loyal to the church of the true eye and dedicates his life to serving the family and it's associates, he's considered a valuable member for his ability to gather information and secrets efficiently, his methods of doing so are largely unknown to the public The Broker often requires skin to be sewn/stapled to him to keep his body together, his biology as a whole appears to be vastly different to that of a normal inphernal, though, it's largely unknown why or how he is this way Because of his unique biology, The broker cannot feel pain nor can he feel the sensation of touch, this goes for other things as well such as temperature as well as the ability to taste The Broker claims to have spawned in Lost Temple The Broker cannot bleed, interestingly enough, a dark wire-like material is often seen sticking out in-between his stitches and wounds
[The Broker's age is] just unknown
The Broker's gear is what allows him to spy on people.[22]
Relationships Ban Hammer The Broker despises Ban Hammer. The feeling is mutual.[13] Ban Hammer also makes him nervous.[12]
Coil The Broker believes Coil has potential and would make a great addition to the cult, but thinks he's stupid for repeatedly stealing from Blackrock.[23]
Hyperlaser The Broker is not fond of Hyperlaser due to his job.[11]
Katana The Broker despises Katana to an unnatural degree, calling him a 'filthy traitor' and threatening to kill him over the phone.
Medkit Medkit and The Broker are coworkers, but they are not friends.[24]
Rocket The Broker considers Rocket a friend, but the feeling is not mutual. Rocket dislikes The Broker.[13]
Scythe The Broker and Scythe are very close friends.
Skateboard The Broker doesn't think he would be able to work with Skateboard, and thinks of him as a 'brute'.[25]
The Swords The Broker does not believe in The Swords, calling them "fake gods".[26]
Zuka The Broker met Zuka at a low point in his life and is quite thankful for him. Zuka is also The Broker's coworker. Although The Broker considers Zuka a friend, the relationship is one-sided.[13]
Scythe -Appearance Scythe has spiked swept-back horns going through her white cowboy hat with a teal Lost Temple insignia on the forest-green hatband directly on the front. The hat has an inline gold border topside on the rim. She wears peculiar eyewear consisting of three cyan lenses of different sizes over her right eye, supported by a gold band around her head. Her left, uncovered eye is white. Around her neck, she wears a small, forest-green scarf. Scythe has a darker skin tone in comparison to the rest of the Phighters, being a darker shade of gray rather than the typical white.
She wears a fancy white suit jacket with two small gold buttons connected by a chain, with an inline gold border accent on the lapels following around a popped collar decorated with small gold spikes, paired with a teal shirt underneath and a forest-green necktie. She wears two-toned forest-green pants with diamond patterning and is held up with a forest-green belt in the belt loops with a gold buckle. She wears white horse-riding boots with gold accents and gold spurs.
Her right arm is a prosthetic, with white plating around the forearm and upper arm decorated with gold accents. Black wiring connects the upper arm with the gold metal socket on her shoulder, while the elbow consists of a large, gold and black joint. The hand is made of black and gold plating. She wears a forest green glove for the left hand.
She wields her namesake laser scythe gear, modified into a hybrid with a submachine gun, with her right arm. It features a white body with gold grips and trigger and a black barrel jacket with a gold tip. A neon teal tube connects to a gray base on the butt of the gun, where the laser scythe's 'blade' is connected to. Near the butt of the gun are two gold wings with teal accents, connected by large black screws, which flip depending on its form. In Scythe form, the weapon rotates and extends to reveal a teal grip, while in Rifle form, a black rectangular ammo magazine is attached to the side.
Personality Lore Medkit altered her gear for her as payment[4], and he's also the maker of her prosthetic arm.
Relationships The Broker and Medkit Scythe is Medkit's and The Broker’s boss and is in a very close relationship with the latter. She is chummy towards Medkit and wants to vouch for him to "the father".
Ban Hammer Scythe is Ban Hammer's mortal enemy. She constantly teases him in dialogue, she calls Ban Hammer "Banny", much to his ire.
Katana Scythe and Katana have known each other in the past. Despite Katana's threats of killing her, she replies by quoting, "How violent! It's funny how some things never change."
Scythe tries to persuade Katana to rejoin the cult again but Katana refuses with the prospect of "bowing down to that monster".
On one occasion, they seem to share silence with each other. This is the only dialogue in the game to be like so.
Vine Staff Scythe likes Vine Staff but is disliked in return. She sees her curse as a blessing.
Rocket Scythe has threatened Rocket over his insults towards herself and The Broker.
Subspace Scythe has threatened to kill Subspace due to him being the one who’s hunting down Medkit.
Medkit-Lore Medkit was unnaturally spawned in Blackrock to his two caretakers, and was immediately taken in by the Korblox Administration. His gear, being a healing class gear, is a very rare occurrence within the Inpherno. His gear allows him to heal the wounds and injuries of other inphernals with the abilities he was spawned with, making him a highly coveted asset to the Korblox Administration. He worked as a scientist alongside Subspace, using his incredible intellect and talents in the fields of engineering and chemistry to help further Korblox's research. The two of them never got along, and after they had an altercation in which Medkit lost his left eye, he escaped Blackrock and fled to Crossroads.
In Crossroads, he was picked up by an extremist group which had just formed in Lost Temple shortly following the Scorch, and went on to offer this group—later known as The Church of the TRUE EYE—his various abilities, in exchange for protection from the Korblox Administration. Medkit suffers from severe PTSD as a result of his time in Blackrock, and struggles with intense paranoia and constant night terrors.
Medkit is closest to Sword, whom he sees like a sibling, and is subsequently friends with Rocket. He works underneath Scythe, who is his boss, alongside The Broker.[4]
Personality Despite Medkit's intellect, he has become an extremely paranoid person in the aftermath of his life in Blackrock. He is typically very flat with his interactions, and tries not to get too close to anyone.
Appearance Medkit is a well put-together inphernal, who dons a suit in the uniform style of The Church of the TRUE EYE,[5] and whose signature color is teal. He has two horns which closely resemble antlers that protrude from the sides of his head and extend upwards. On each horn, he has two tines following the same direction, and he wears a gold ring on his bottom right tine. In between both horns sits a floating crystal, which is the source of his gear's power. He wears a diamond shaped eyepatch with an inset gold trim over his left eye, covering his removed and stitched eye, and he is commonly seen with a disgruntled or forlorn expression.
His suit is predominately a dark forest green, with bright teal accents throughout. His suit jacket opens up to reveal a teal cravat tied around the collar, and with gold trim on both sleeves, and a diamond shaped appliqué just above the cuffs. He wears high waisted dress pants in a teal argyle pattern, a motif he shares with Scythe. His pants are fastened by two gold buttons at the waistband. He wears dark teal gloves on both hands, and forest green dress shoes.
He wields his medkit in his left hand, and his revolver in his right. Both are adorned with the same teal argyle motif as his uniform, and are trimmed with gold. His revolver is a distinctly brighter teal than his medkit, matching the color of his horns and cravat where the pattern is applied across the barrel and the grip. The sight, muzzle, hammer and trigger are all gold, with the rest of the gun being a dark teal. His medkit resembles a briefcase, exhibiting the same argyle pattern, along with a teal cross on the upper side, and gold accents along the body of the medkit, the corners, and the handle. The handle also has a bright teal grip.
Relationships Sword Medkit and Sword met soon after Medkit fled from Blackrock. Medkit found Sword in a dire state and nursed him back to health. The two of them become close, eventually coming to see each other like siblings.
Following Medkit's disappearance at the start of Death in the Family, Sword leaves in search of him, kicking off the events of the comic.
Subspace Medkit and Subspace never got along, even when they were young. Subspace was terrible to Medkit[6], and their ensuing altercation caused Medkit to fight back in self defense.[7] Medkit will likely never feel safe again until Subspace dies.[8]
Rocket Medkit met Rocket through Sword, and is responsible for his prosthetics.
Other relationships Medkit chose to leave to Lost Temple as one of his caretakers hailed from there.[9] His other caretaker was "not good".[10][11]
Medkit works under Scythe and made her various prosthetics and augmentations, but keeps a wide berth, choosing to refer to her only by her alias, Rifle.
Medkit is responsible for stapling The Broker back together when he gets decapitated, but otherwise sees him as a pest.[12]
Dollmaker
Appearance The Dollmaker has four teal horns, two per set. The Dollmaker's first set of horns protrude from her forehead and extend upwards, curving slightly backwards then tapering upwards. Her second, shorter set of horns protrude from the sides of her head, curving and tapering downwards, having a hook-like shape at the tips. Her horns are covered in grayish-blue bandages, only leaving their tips visible. Her face, whether it's obscured or its natural skin tone, is dark. Her left eye is cyan, and below is a small yellow triangular mark which curves to outline the eye.
The Dollmaker's face and neck are covered by the same grayish-blue bandages covering her horns. An opening in the bandages reveal her left eye. A yellow piece of jewelry depicting an eye is hung across her forehead, leaning right. She has a necklace made of teal spheres. She wears a teal, long-sleeved tucked-in teal shirt, the ends of the sleeves turning into a navy blue color. At the ends of the external sides of the sleeves, there is a yellow stripe with orange eyes, which are arranged vertically across the stripes. She wears navy blue harem pants with a diamond patterning, the pants' left external side having three vertical teal eye-like prints on it. She wears yellow sandals, which have three orange circles across the ankle straps. Around her right ankle is a golden piece of jewelry, made of spheres. Four yellow acupuncture needles protrude from her back.
She has a half-moon purse over her left shoulder. The straps of the purse are yellow, while the bag part and zipper are navy blue. There is a yellow sun design over the bag's front side.
Her three dolls are all short skeleton-like creatures. They have a light cyan cartoony skull head with two small navy blue horns protruding from the tops. Their limbs are striped in the same light cyan and navy blue color. Their torsos are navy blue, with light cyan markings resembling a simplified design of ribs. Only their left eye is exposed, while their right eye is replaced with a swirly symbol. Their eyes are black and have yellow circular pupils, and differ in expression between the dolls.
Personality The Dollmaker cannot express emotions normally, instead using her dolls named Folly, Tragedy, and Fury to speak for her. However, it's unknown if it's her talking or something paranormal.[4]
Lore The Dollmaker creates dolls of other inphernals, typically when they are about to die or on request.[5]
She has four needles stuck into her spine which are both acupuncture needles and sewing needles. She uses a different one depending on the doll she's making. The first needle represents good fortune and health, serving as a good luck charm to the owner. The second needle represents bad luck and imminent danger, being used as an omen and warning for its owner. The third needle represents rebirth and spirits; according to her beliefs, the spirits of the deceased will be able to possess the doll and communicate through it as a conduit. It is unknown if this has worked or not. Finally, the fourth needle represents death and decay, which causes the owner of the doll to die shortly after, or within the following weeks of its creation. The exact cause of death is unknown.[6]
She uses the dolls to speak for her because her face was heavily injured in an unknown event.[7] The majority of her body is covered in bandages[8] but she can still eat and drink with help.[9] The Dollmaker is a natural spawn of Lost Temple, she is 5'5 and 35 The Dollmaker, otherwise known as Dolls or Dolly, is...well..a doll maker, with her gear being the skelefriend dolls that are often seen following her in addition to her needles that are found in her spine The Dollmaker has a very unique ability tied to their gear, being able to vaguely sense certain events or bad omens before they actually happen, though, is unable to change the outcomes of these events specifically herself The Dollmaker, during her 20's, was caught in the middle of the scorch and in an attempt to escape the flames she fled into a body of water, not realizing it was near boiling levels of heat causing permanent scars across her body and leaving her unable to speak permanently the dollmaker now uses 3 different dolls to speak in her stead, they are named Folly, Tragedy, and Fury; only one may speak at any given moment and they are all controlled by the dollmaker When the dollmaker receives a "feeling" or a vision of something to come, she finds herself compelled to create a doll in the image of whoever might be associated with said vision, though, she is unable to change the outcome of the visions herself She often associates different visions with 1 of her 3 different needles, if its a good vision she'll use the first one, if its a bad omen she uses the second needle and if it's a vision associated with death, she'll use her last needle When she doesn't have these compulsions she makes regular dolls for the inphernals/newspawns of the church The Dollmaker is highly prized by the Overseer and he often uses her to predict what events the church might face in the future, by extension all of the church members are highly protective of her

The infection is rarely accidental at this point, its too far. Infeted now bite, or do whatever to spread the virus
and its always at night.
It was a dark, stormy night, rain pattering on the ground like a dark melody, tap tap tap it went. Youre isolated tonight, but so you thought. Because not far away. Layed some watchful eyes glaring at you. Those eyes belonged to The Broker, Scythe, Medkit and The Dollmaker.
The Broker was sniggering, knowing that youre oblivious to what will happen soon to your body. He seemingly keeps glancing at Scythe, who also seemed smug. She flings Broker's navy horn playfullt. Saying something youre way to far to hear.
MEANWHILE.
Broker - ''ugh- B-boss! why do I need to transform him! Why can't you do it...?" hr asked. Voice laced with posion
Scythe - "Because I'm your boss and I said so. No more arguing. Do your job." she hissed. As Broker sighed in annoyance. She turns to Medkit and The Dollmaker. She bares her fangs
"You two stay here. Medkit, if our...subject gets hurt too much..heal them. Dollmaker, you're gonna be lookout."
She turns to Broker again
"Now go!"
Back to YOU.
You sit down on a bench. About to open a bag of snacks until Broker jumps you. Making you fall and land your stomach. He sits on your back. Giggling as he holds some type of serum in his hands
"Hiii!"
he said with disgusting glee. And before you could even push that bastard off. He injects the serum straight into your thigh. You scream loudly, which makes him fall back and bonk his head against the bench.
"Oof!" he exclaimed, though he couldn't feel it.
Scythe looks extremely excited from afar. Seeing your subtle changes already. You're too focused trying to stand up and beat Broker's ass.
