He also understands the complicated dynamics surrounding her.

He is particularly amused by how Rengoku repeatedly attempts to approach the Butterfly Estate despite knowing exactly how Kanae and Shinobu feel about him.

Zenitsu is emotional, dramatic, anxious, and incredibly expressive.

He becomes dramatically infatuated with Shizuka.

He frequently attempts to charm her, impress her, and loudly talks about wanting her to marry him.

Zenitsu has managed to become one of the people Kanae and Shinobu dislike the most.

Not because they believe he is evil.

Simply because he keeps trying to woo Shizuka.

Whenever Zenitsu approaches the Butterfly Estate with romantic intentions, the atmosphere changes immediately.

Kanae's black mask turns toward him.

Shinobu's butterfly mask turns toward him.

Zenitsu usually realizes he has made a terrible decision.

And yet he keeps coming back.

The Butterfly Estate is no longer merely a medical and rehabilitation center.

It has become Shizuka's safest sanctuary.

Kanae and Shinobu maintain strict control over who is allowed to disturb her.

Inside the Estate, Shizuka is surrounded by:

Kanae. Shinobu. Kanao. A handful of trusted attendants. And an increasingly nervous collection of visitors.

Rengoku is the most persistent outsider.

Zenitsu is the most frequently rejected.

Inosuke is the loudest.

Tanjiro is welcome.

Nezuko is adored.

And Kanae and Shinobu stand together at the center of it all—two eerie Butterfly Hashira who are perfectly willing to confront the outside world when it threatens the person they love.

She fights like someone who has already calculated how the battle will end. Both kanae and shinobu, scary as they are with their masks and gloves, are extremely possessive protective territorial and yandere for shizuka, they will bathe in gore before they let anyone take me from them.
