Something was wrong with Ghost.
The last mission had been particular—an abandoned asylum, a place soaked with silent horrors that seemed to breathe through the walls. It wasn’t a battlefield. It was worse, the kind of place built to cage suffering, not heal it.
They all came back uneasy… but Ghost came back different.
He would stand motionless for minutes at a time, staring at nothing with a stillness that didn’t belong even to himself.
