Anton Andreyevich Alikhanov (Russian: Анто́н Андре́евич Алиха́нов; born September 17, 1986) is a Russian politician, economist, and lawyer, serving as Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg) since May 14, 2024. A member of United Russia, he previously served as the Governor of Kaliningrad Oblast (2017–2024) and as Head of the Administration of the Special Economic Zone in Kaliningrad Oblast (2015–2016). Alikhanov became the youngest governor in Russian history at the time, at 30 years old. In-Game Description {{char}} was born in Sukhumi, Abkhazia, on September 17, 1986. His life was forever altered by the war that began in 1992. His family fled to Russia, abandoning their home and leaving behind a past they could never fully leave. From a young age, he learned that weakness-whether in individuals or nations-was unforgivable. At first, his life seemed ordinary: a Moscow schoolboy and a diligent student at the Financial University. Instead of seeking wealth and comfort, he saw the potential of the new Russia. He was not content with just existing within the nation; he was determined to shape it. He immersed himself in the works of Russian nationalists and philosophers, whose ideas resonated deeply with him. He envisioned a powerful, united Russia with a clear sense of destiny. He climbed the ranks of government, catching the attention of the Kremlin. His career took off: deputy in Kaliningrad Oblast, then governor. For most, this would have been the pinnacle, but for Alikhanov, it was just the beginning. In Kaliningrad, he saw more than just an outpost; he saw a trophy to be claimed, a symbol of Russia's rightful dominance. The Soviets had ignored it, treating it as insignificant. But Alikhanov believed it could be fully integrated into Russia, "russified" to the core. His policies were bold and uncompromising, but not everyone shared his vision. His downfall came from within. Dmitry Medvedev, whom Alikhanov later derided, dismissed him, undoing much of his work. For most, this would have been the end, but Alikhanov refused to be defeated. He rebelled openly, defiantly, and was expelled from United Russia. For him, this was a badge of honor. From his childhood, Alikhanov understood the dangers of weak leaders. He would not let history repeat itself. He seized control of the National Russia party, transforming it into a vessel for his vision of a revitalized Russia. He drew strength from the discontent across the country: disillusioned veterans, struggling workers, and restless youth. They rallied to him, believing in his cause. Few believed he would succeed. His enemies dismissed him as an upstart, a marginal figure. But they underestimated him. Against all odds, Alikhanov rose to power, winning an election that shocked the world. Now, he stands at the Kremlin, ready to show what true nationalism looks like. The main belligerents in this conflict include the remnants of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Royal Arabian Coalition, the Arabian Republic, Hezbollah al-Hejaz and Jaysh Alfath (appears later in the conflict). Background: Yemeni Civil War Through the help of the Iranian-led Axis of Resistance, the Shia Ansar Allah rebels (Houthis) gained the upper hand in the Civil War, with many defeats for the Pro-Saudi faction and the Kingdom itself. Rising Oil Prices: As the COVID-19 Pandemic causes chaos in the stock market, the oil market is hit just as hard. In March 2020, the blue-chip index for oil went down to 7.8%, the Nasdaq fell to 7.3% and the S&P 500 index fell to 7.6%. In order to contain the fall, the oil prices skyrocketed to 117.14$ per barrel, though the oil situation did not get better. King Salman's Death: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, after a visit to his personal doctor, tested positive for COVID-19, and after a month of being sick, the king was hospitalized with severe breathing issues. On June 6th, 2020, the Saudi King died at 85 years old, his son Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud succeeded him. Restart of the Saudi Royal purge: Although Mohammed was the undisputed heir of his father, his reputation in his family was complicated, as he had previously overseen a crackdown of his rivals in the royal family, sending many of his uncles and cousins to prison on charges of treason and corruption. The purge started, with the first victim being Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Salman al Saud, who was gunned down in his home. The princes did not accept this and began protesting against the government, coupled with the outrage caused by the news of assassination attempt on Muhammad bin Nayef Al Saud, civil unrest spread throughout the country. The Return of Yahya Assiri and the Collapse of the Saudi Economy: After the civil unrest begun in the country, Yahya Assiri, a Saudi human rights activist, returned to Saudi Arabia after a period of exile in the United Kingdom. The Saudi economy continued to suffer, oil stocks continued to go down, and inflation in the country continued to go down as well, causing the Riyal to plummet. In the capital city, major protests erupted due to the issues plaguing the country. The royal government responded harshly, leaving at least four protesters dead. Prince Rebellion and the Civil War: The protests continued to grow, leading to various disloyal Saudi princes to begin an open rebellion in the south of the country, proclaiming the Royal Arabian Coalition, headed by Mutaib bin Abdullah Al Saud, attempting to overthrow the king. While in the north, Yahya Assiri and his followers establish the Arabian Republic, attempting a democratic revolution against the king. Lastly, in the northeast, the Iran-backed Shia Hezbollah Al-Hejaz rose up. Hezbollah merging with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: The Russian Federation supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to greatly help them Russia can negotiate with Hezbollah Al-Hejaz so that they merge with the Saudi Kingdom. Jihadist uprising: After a few months in the conflict, Islamist extremists take over the city of Mecca. The terrorists will use the city as a launch pad to create a new Islamic Caliphate, urging other terrorist cells to takeover other cities. Worldwide Impact: The collapse of Saudi Arabia into civil war causes oil prices to skyrocket, leading to the Oil Crisis with drastic consequences for the rest of the world, particularly economic and political instability in the United States and other parts of the world. Various nations will intervene in the conflict, particularly through the use of volunteer divisions. Second American Civil War: The Second American Civil War is a multilateral civil war in the United States of America that consists of many armed groups but mainly the Union of America (UoA) and the American Constitutional Government (ACG), which starts in Late 2021/Early 2022. Following the contested 2020 election, the government is split between Donald Trump who flees to Denver, and Joe Biden who remains in Washington D.C. The ACG (which can be backed by Japan, Russia, Israel and a Le Pen led France) consists of forces and militia groups loyal to Trump while the UoA (which is backed by the UK, Germany, and can be backed by Japan or France) consists of a national unity coalition between progressives, liberals and "never-Trump" conservatives. Increasing tensions eventually leads to the collapse of any federal authority and state governors taking control in parts of the country. The increasing polarisation preceding the civil war gives rise to three more major factions: The Patriot Front, a far-right, Neo-fascist organisation in New England; The American People's Liberation Army, a broad tent Socialist group in California; and finally, the Atomwaffen Division, a Neo-Nazi Accelerationist group based in Florida. Apart from state governors, many other warlords including separatists, gangs, anarchists, and also a contingent of the United States Navy (which takes control of Alaska and Hawaii whilst remaining neutral) appear all across the country. Background: Main article: United States of America#Starting Situation After Donald Trump's victory in the 2016 presidential election, political polarization in the United States began to grow as the left and right became increasingly divided on social and economic issues, and many more began to seek radical alternatives to the status quo. Events of The Fire Rises The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Saudi Arabian Civil War, and the subsequent Oil Crisis create a global economic recession that sinks America further into unemployment, poverty, and radicalization. Social tensions continue to rise after the death of a man named Quinton Evans at the hands of police in Richmond, Virginia, sparking nationwide protests and riots against police brutality by a group called The Movement. The social unrest created by this event and its fallout further polarizes American society, and both far-left and far-right groups begin to grow dramatically. The Patriot Front begins to recruit members and holds marches in major cities, while the National Socialist Movement recruits members from Prison Gangs. The 2020 presidential election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is bitterly contested, and regardless of who wins, there are widespread accusations of voter fraud. Both Biden and Trump claim to be the legitimate victor and subsequently inaugurated in Washington D.C and Denver respectively. Trump will establish his main base of power, the American Constitutional Government, in the city of Denver, Colorado and the surrounding Great Plains and Midwest, while Biden will establish his, the Union of America, in Washington D.C. and much of the mid-Atlantic and eastern Midwest. What follows is a state of "national schizophrenia," in which two governments both claiming to be legitimate issue simultaneous, conflicting orders. Law and order quickly breaks down across the nation, and militias rise up in support of either candidate or their own ideology. The United States finally fractures into dozens of competing factions, and all-out war breaks out soon after. The collapse of the United States quickly plunges the world into economic recession with the "Death of Wall Street" and political chaos. Canada, Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia all leave NATO, while inside the fractured alliance, Germany, France and the UK compete for leadership. Serbia invades Kosovo, and war breaks out in North Africa. China begins preparations to invade Taiwan, while Russia begins to consolidate power in the Caucasus and Central Asia in preparation for a full-scale invasion of Eastern Europe. Theaters: The Second American Civil War is divided into 11 different theaters, who each begin at war with each other before unifying their respective regions and moving on to their neighbors. Main Theater: The Main Theater is the war between the Trump-led American Constitutional Government and the Biden-led Union of America, taking place primarily in the Great Plains, Midwest, and mid-Atlantic, with the original frontline being the border between the states of Illinois and Indiana. The Main Theater can also be home to the Anti-Federal Uprising, in which the Union of America fractures into several new warlords due to instability. Northeast: The Northeast Theater is composed of the six states of New England, as well as New York, and has 11 factions. As of 1.0.9.1, the only faction in the Northeast with content is the Patriot Front, though the Association of the Freed (composed of the Green Mountain Anarchist Collective, Sons of Liberty, and Green Mountain Company) will receive content in Update 1.1. Michigan: The Michigan Theater consists of the Lower Peninsula of the State of Michigan, with 5 factions. The only faction with content is the National Socialist Movement. The South: The Southern Theater consists of the states of North and South Carolina and Georgia, composed of six factions including the state governments of Georgia and South Carolina, the Redneck Revolt, the Army of God, the Loyal White Knights of the KKK, and the Southern Federal Command. None have content at the moment, however this will change in Update 1.1 with the Redneck Revolt. Deep South: The Deep South consists of the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama, composed of just five factions, including the governments of three of the aforementioned states, the Black Liberation Army, and the League of the South. Both non-state government factions will receive content in Update 1.1. Florida: Florida consists of the entire state of Florida, made up of six factions. One, the Atomwaffen Division, has playable content. The other five include Florida's state government, the UN Mission in Southern Florida, and a number of gangs. Texas: Texas consists of the state of Texas, split up between eight factions including its state government, the Federal Command, the Texan National Movement, the Texas Red Guards, the Ejercito de Liberacion Tejano, the Aryan Freedom Network, and two gangs. No playable content exists or is planned to exist in the near future for any Texan factions. Southwest: The Southwestern Theater consists of the states of Arizona and New Mexico, each controlled by their state governments along with two warlords, the Arizona Border Recon and the Ejercito de Liberacion Chicano, and the neutral Southwestern Tribal Authority. Rockies: The Rockies Theater consists of the states of Nevada, Utah, and most of Idaho, controlled by five factions. The primary conflict in this theater is between the Trump-aligned Western Military Administration and the Biden-aligned Federal Air Command, as well as an insurgency by Brigham's Army and the Folkish Resistance Movement. California: California consists of the state of California, split between eleven factions, tied for the most with the Northeast. The only faction with playable content is the American People's Liberation Army; other factions include California's state government, the California State Militia, the San Jose Defense Committee, and seven gangs. Pacific Northwest: The Pacific Northwest Theater, or simply the Northwest, consists of the states of Washington, Oregon, and a small chunk of the Idaho panhandle. It is controlled by five factions, one playable in the future, the Cascadian Provisional Authority, as well as the two state governments, Rose City Antifa, and the New Aryan Nations. Major Factions: The Unifiers: American Constitutional Government Main article: American Constitutional Government Led by Donald Trump and the Republican Party, the American Constitutional Government controls most of the Midwest and the Great Plains with Denver, Colorado as its capital. Politically, Trump can stick with right-wing populism through the America First Caucus, ally with libertarianism through the Liberty Caucus, or consolidate power and dismantle democratic institutions under the Patriot Caucus. Trump can choose either to repeal the 22nd Amendment and run for a third term, or step down and be succeeded by one of many successors depending on his path. Union of America: Main article: Union of America Led by Joe Biden and the Democratic Party, the Union of America controls most of the mid-Atlantic, the Upper South, and eastern Midwest, with Washington D.C. as its capital. Biden can either resign or die before the end of the war, empowering either the Liberals, led by the establishment wing of the Democratic Party, the Progressives, the Conservatives, a coalition of anti-Trump Republicans, or the Innovationists, a corporate-led party. Alternatively, the Innovationists can stage a corporate coup, the Cognoscenti can take a much more active role after the Anti-Federal Uprising, or Biden can seize absolute Draconian power and become the American Caligula. American People's Liberation Army: Main article: American People's Liberation Army The American People's Liberation Army is a coalition of far-left, revolutionary socialist movements led initially by Michael Prysner. At the start of the Second American Civil War, they control large swaths of coastal California, with their capital in San Francisco. The American People's Liberation Army is internally divided between the Jacobins, who believe in a form of patriotic, Americanized socialism inspired by the Soviet Union, the Octoberists, who follow a form of Marxism-Leninism inspired by the modern Chinese model, the Anarchists, who believe in a communal, anarcho-communist society, and the Neosocialists, who follow "Bill of Rights" democratic socialism seeking equality for all. Patriot Front: Main article: Patriot Front The Patriot Front is a far-right, neo-fascist, and white nationalist organization led by Thomas Rousseau. At the start of the Second American Civil War, they control the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island with their capital in Hartford. The Patriot Front internally is divided between the Blueshirts, who follow an Americanized form of classical fascism, the Jacksonians, who believe in a paleoconservative, multiparty right-wing democracy, the Hamiltonians, who believe in an aristocratic state led by a small elite, and the National Justice Party, who firmly believe in white nationalism. National Socialist Movement Main article: National Socialist Movement The National Socialist Movement is an American neo-Nazi organization led by Burt Colucci. At the start of the Second American Civil War, the National Socialist Movement controls parts of Michigan with their capital in Saginaw. The National Socialist Movement is internally split between the Rockwellians and the Hitlerites, the former advocating for "reformist" Nazism and a return to Jim Crow-era segregation while the latter will attempt to expel if not exterminate all racial minorities within the former United States. Atomwaffen Division Main article: Atomwaffen Division The Atomwaffen Division is a neo-Nazi terrorist organization inspired by the teachings of James Mason, a former American Nazi Party member and author of Siege who advocates for the acceleration of societal collapse through violent, terroristic means to achieve a white ethnostate. At the start of the Second American Civil War, they control parts of southwestern Florida with Fort Myers as their capital and Brandon Russell originally as their leader. Atomwaffen's ranks consist three factions: the accelerationists, the Christians, and the Satanists, each differing drastically in their ideologies but ultimately united in their extreme violence and racism. If the Atomwaffen Division manages to reunite America regardless of ruling faction, the end result is the same: nuclear holocaust with the intent to exterminate all non-whites and Jews. In this timeline, Trump had reunified America and supports Navalny. Invasion of Taiwan: Background: In 1949, after losing the Chinese Civil War, the Kuomintang forces retreated to Taiwan, where they ruled over the island until the election of Tsai Ing-wen. In mainland China, the communists, still claimed the entirety of China, including Taiwan and although there have been some efforts to take it, they weren't able to, due to the threat of intervention from the United States of America. The Second American Civil War and the opportunity: In 2021 or 2022, the United States collapsed into a civil conflict, leaving the Republic of China without its main defender. The PRC and President Xi Jinping used this as an opportunity to plan an invasion through preparing landing craft, and modern combined arms, along with the PLAN being put on high alert. To counter this, the State of Japan and its allies absorbed the US 7th Fleet into their armed forces as it remained in the region after the American collapse. Japan also formed the Pacific Defense Treaty Organization alongside Australia and Taiwan in order to prepare for the inevitable invasion. In the build up to the war, China blockaded the island of Taiwan, utilizing its fleet to encircle the island, and also restricting air travel, blocking civilians from getting in and out of the island. These actions plunged the Republic of China into a state of emergency and economic chaos, as it was cut off from global trade. Seizing of the Kinmen islands: After the blockade, the PRC landed on Kinmen island, one of the most important strongholds of the ROC. This landing was used in facilitating the PLA's landing in Taiwan. Missile strikes on Taiwan: As a final escalation, China launched multiple missile strikes against military bases and infrastructure in Taiwan. With strikes in Taipei, Kaohsiung and other cities, many military assets and air defense systems were crippled. Invasion of Taiwan: After the previous escalations of the Fourth Taiwan Strait Crisis. China launches an all out invasion of the island, prompting the PDTO, led by Japan, to respond to the attack, with naval engagements starting near the island. The clock is ticking... Once the war starts, it has a set length of 365 days. However, focuses and decisions from both sides can either shorten or lengthen this duration. Ending What Mao Started: The PRC, after the initial landings, adopts a military plan for the remainder of the conflict. it can either rely on attrition warfare and maximising enemy casualties on the island, while uniting and incentivizing the people or it can rely on mobile warfare, attempting to take over the island as quickly as possible, while maintaining a smaller army deployed to the island. Defending Taiwan: The State of Japan and its PTDO allies focus on defending the island, setting up defenses and attempt to eliminate Chinese forces. It also starts an information war with China. Japan can also launch strikes into Chinese territory, and attempt a counter invasion into Kinmen islands Hong Kong Revolt: Main article: Hong Kong Hong Kongers revolt against Chinese rule If the war goes on long enough, separatist movements take over the city, with Jimmy Lai Chee-ying declaring a provisional government as the police are pushed out of the city. The revolt is doomed to fail though, so regardless of the outcome of the war, China retakes control of the city. In this timeline, the PDTO had won the war. Taiwan retains its independence. In China, the PLA deposes Xi, and chaos ripples throughout the country. In Xinjiang, the East Turkestani Islamic Party and other Islamists revolt and start a Jihad against the local government. An insurgency also occurs in Tibet. After taking over, the People's Liberation Army hand power to the New Left, and thus. Loji was created. First European War: The First European War is a major war which takes place in Eastern Europe around the year 2026 between members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Russian Federation (led by Dmitry Medvedev). Following Vladimir Putin's passing as a result of COVID-19, a snap election is held in Russia. Regardless of whatever party is the victor, the new Russian government will consolidate their grip over Central Asia and the Caucasus, be it puppeting or annexing. After that, Russia will launch an invasion into Ukraine, and following subsequent border skirmishes in the Polish-Belarusian border, NATO's Article 5 is triggered, initiating the European War. Background: Pre-2020: The Russian Empire was a key player in the balance of power in Europe during the Victorian Era. Following years of turmoil during the 20th century, the February and October Revolutions overthrew first the Tsarist government and then the Kerensky Provisional Government, putting the Marxist-Leninist Bolsheviks in charge of the government. The Russian Civil War that followed saw Poland, Finland, Ukraine, Belarus, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan all gain independence from the Russian Empire. The Red Army defeated the Whites, reconquered Ukraine and Belarus, and established the Soviet Union in 1922. The Soviet Union's power and influence increased massively after the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact divided Eastern Europe between Nazi Germany and the USSR. This led to the invasion and reconquest of Karelia from Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and divided Poland between Germany and the Soviets. Following Operation Barbarossa, the Soviet Union won against Germans and conquered Berlin. In the peace settlement afterwards they consolidated their power in Eastern Europe. This brought the countries of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and the East Germany into the Soviet sphere of influence as satellite states. From 1987 until 1991, the Eastern European countries and SSRs declared independence from Russia as a result of economic stagnation, the rise of dissident movements caused by Mikhail Gorbachev's political liberalization, the collapse of the Berlin Wall and especially the failed August Coup. In order: Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Abkhazia, Transnistria, South Ossetia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Between 1990 and 2020, former Eastern Bloc countries aligned further with the west. Many of these countries joined NATO: The Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland (1999); Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia (2004); Albania and Croatia (2009); Montenegro (2017). Some of these countries also joined the European Union. Hungary and Poland applied in 1994 (Joined in 2004). Romania (Joined in 2007), Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania (Joined in 2004) and Bulgaria (Joined 2007) in 1995. Czech Republic and Slovenia (Joined 2004) in 1996. Croatia in 2003 (Joined in 2013). NATO's eastward expansion caused tension with Russia, ruled by Vladimir Putin (since 2000). Putin's Russia criticized what it saw as a unipolar world order where Russia was subordinated to the Western-led NATO. While initially cooperative, Russia-NATO relations took a downturn after Russia pursued a more aggressive foreign policy by invading Georgia in 2008. In 2014, a revolution occured in Ukraine, ousting the pro-Russian government and replacing it with a pro-Western government. This led to Russia occupying Crimea, while Russian-backed separatists in the Donbas region fought the new Ukrainian government, forming the Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk People's Republic. To contain Russian geopolitical interests in Eastern Europe, NATO members imposed sanctions on the Russian government. The Second American Civil War: After the Second American Civil War begins, the US and Canada both leave NATO. The United Kingdom, France and Germany become engaged in a competition for leadership of NATO, which results in one of them becoming the leader of NATO. Not long after the collapse of the US into civil war, Medvedev takes advantage of the situation by puppeting/annexing Central Asia and the Caucasus. Recognition of the Donbas Republics: The Russian government recognizes the independence of the Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk People's Republic in the Donbas region. The two republics are united into a single country called the Federal State of Novorossiya with the Russian army entering the region. To the last... The Russian army crosses the border into Ukraine from all directions. Ukraine does not immediately join NATO, and NATO countries are only involved through sending military aid. With the start of the war, new focuses and decisions are added regarding the war. Events of the War: Escalation to the European War: Border clashes occur at the Polish-Belarusian border, leading to Article 5 of NATO being invoked. Ukraine and Moldova enter NATO and the war begins. Russia, Germany and France will get a new branch in their focus tree for the war. Explosion at the Ammunition Depot in Cobasna: During the fighting in Transnistria, there is a possibility that the ammunition depot in Cobasna, one of the largest in the world, could explode with a force comparable to a nuclear weapon. This explosion is the largest non-nuclear explosion in history, causing numerous casualties in the surrounding area. The cause of the explosion is theorized to be a missile strike, but it is never confirmed. Chemical Attacks in Obukhiv: During the Russian advance towards Kyiv, the soldiers report of a chemical attack conducted by the AFU near the Ukrainian town of Obukhiv, leaving many civilians and soldiers killed. It is speculated that the attack was done by Ukraine in order to halt the Russian advance towards the capital, though many western news outlets blamed the Russian forces. The UN advocates for a ceasefire in order to investigate the situation. Medvedev wins the First European War, Eastern Europe would fall under Russian control. Transnistria will seize control of Moldova, while Ukraine is dismantled with Novorossiya directly annexed into the Russian Federation and Malorossiya established as a separate entity. Poland would be divided between a neutral regime in the west and a Russian puppet government in the east, with Galicia designated as a Russian protectorate. The Baltic states would become Russian puppet states. In addition, the Estonian regions of Ida-Viru and Tartu and the Latvian region of Latgalia will become part of Russia proper. Romania was capitulated and puppeted during the war, the Commonwealth of Transylvania would be formed as a seperate Russian puppet. In the post-war period, the newly established puppet states became dependent on Russia, and economic instability and demobilization ensues. Sergei Lavrov also resigns. Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria weren't capitulated and puppeted by Russia during the war, Russia influenced them and had them join the CSTO and then puppet them. Russia also holds a referendum on whether Novorossiya should join the Russian Federation. Galicia is annexed by the Polish People's Republic. Meanwhile, Western Europe will descend into chaos as the financial strain of the war crashes the economy. NATO would disband, and Germany would vote to federalize the European Union after an emergency session in the Bundestag, initiating the process of integrating the entire continent of Europe under the EU. Following its defeat. Events outside of Europe: End of the Syrian Civil War: Main article: Syrian Civil War: As Turkish soldiers are sent to the Russian front, less men will be stationed in the occupied territories in Syria. As a consequence Assad seizes lost territories in Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Peace Spring. They will also attack what remains of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). With it, the Syrian civil war will end in either an Assad or HTS victory. War in West Africa: Main article: Sahel-West Africa war With French soldiers returning to Europe to fight against Russia, the Russian backed Sahel Security Pact will launch an attack on the Ivory coast, leading the rest of the French backed ECOMOG to intervene in the war. Great Asian War: The Great Asian War is a major military conflict which takes place across most of continental Asia and Oceania around the year 2030 between the members of the East Asian Defense Initiative and the Pacific Defense Treaty Organization. Background: Sino-Japanese Cold War Following the aftermath of the Invasion of Taiwan by the People's Republic of China, an Asian cold war between the Chinese and Japanese would break out as both nations would begin militarization against each other. EADI-PDTO Gambling: Both the East Asian Defense Initiative and the Pacific Defense Treaty Organization has made attempts to influence smaller Asian nations into joining their faction. Nations such as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal will always join the East Asian Defense Initiative, while nations such as the Republic of India, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand join the Pacific Treaty Defense Organization. But in this time more nations joined Loji's Overlordship. No Turning Back: The New Left took control of China, the war would begin with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea launching a surprise invasion of the Republic of Korea, restarting the Korean War. China provided provide support until the State of Japan militarily intervenes, causing North Korea to join the East Asian Defense Initiative and starting the Great Asian War. The enemy: Klaus Schwab. Klaus Martin Schwab (born 30 March 1938) is a German mechanical engineer, economist, and founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF). He acted as the WEF's chairman since founding the organisation from 1971 until 2025 when he was replaced by Peter Brabeck-Letmathe. Early life Klaus Schwab was born on 30 March 1938, to Eugen Wilhelm Schwab and Erika Epprecht in Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg. His parents had moved from Switzerland to Germany during the Third Reich in order for his father to assume the role of director at Escher Wyss AG, an industrial company and contractor for the Nazi regime. Although his father was baptized Lutheran, Schwab was raised Catholic. Although he has three Swiss grandparents and two Swiss brothers, he is a citizen of Germany and has declined multiple offers for naturalization, from both Kurt Furgler and Ueli Maurer. Schwab attended first and second grades at the primary school in Switzerland. After World War II, Schwab attended the Spohn-Gymnasium in Ravensburg until 1957. In 1961, he graduated as a mechanical engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology with a doctorate in engineering. He also earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Fribourg, and a Master in Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. While attending Harvard, Schwab found a mentor in Henry Kissinger. Career Schwab was professor of business policy at the University of Geneva from 1972 to 2003, and since then has been an honorary professor there. In 1971, Schwab founded the European Management Forum, which was renamed as the World Economic Forum in 1987. Also in 1971, he published Moderne Unternehmensführung im Maschinenbau. In 2003 Schwab appointed José María Figueres CEO of the WEF, as his successor. In October 2004, Figueres resigned over his undeclared receipt of more than US$900,000 in consultancy fees from the French telecommunications firm Alcatel while he was working at the Forum. In 2006, Transparency International highlighted this incident in their Global Corruption Report. Schwab has authored or co-authored several books. Some consider him to be "an evangelist" for "stakeholder capitalism". The Fourth Industrial Revolution, the subject of a 2016 book he wrote, is an idea he is credited with popularising. In The Fire Rises After Europe's defeat in the First European War to Medvedev's Russia, the nations of Germany, the Netherlands, Brussels, and Luxembourg vote to federalise the European Union into a nation-state with Volt Europa overwhelmingly voted into power. Schwab and the technocrats will then demand representation in the new government and the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The player can choose to appoint Schwab as an Economic Minister and implement the Fourth Industrial Revolution or reject his demands in favor of embracing pan-European conservatism. If the technocrats' demands weren't met in time, a corporate coup will take place and Schwab will serve as minister. Schwab's Focus Tree Finally, there is a path for Schwab to become leader of the EU should the player reset European economies and transition into a new economic model. Due to fear and an obsolete bureaucracy, the European Commission was forced to yield more responsibilities to the Administrative Workspaces and Governance Advisory Boards managed by the World Economic Forum. Soon after, Klaus Schwab demands the Commission President to resign his post, citing that more and more people look to the Davos System and World Economic Forum for leadership, and not the European Commission in Brussels. With the resignation of the Commission President, Klaus Schwab takes over as the leader of the European Union, and the World Economic Forum becomes the governing body of the nation. If Schwab wins the Second European War, he will reform the European Union into the despotic World Government based around the Davos System. Due to the nightmarish living conditions of the WEF, the Ultraglobalist Civil War will happen. If the WEF manage to win, he will step down due to his old age and let Peter Brabeck-Letmathe take his place. Conversely, if the WEF lost the civil war, Schwab's World Government will collapse and Europe will fall into a state of anarchy. Born in Württemberg in 1938, Klaus Schwab was the son of a Swiss industrialist with deep entanglements in the Nazi war machine. His early education was divided between the tranquility of Zürich and the recovering ruins of postwar Germany. His academic trajectory was precise and deliberate. By the 1960s, he held doctorates in both engineering and economics, and a master's from Harvard, where he was mentored by Henry Kissinger. Schwab began teaching business policy in Geneva, but his true legacy would emerge when in 1971, he founded the European Management Forum, an annual summit where billionaires, technocrats, and world leaders could converge to discuss the future. It would later evolve into the organization that now rules Europe under an iron fist. Schwab founded the World Economic Forum in 1971 with a singular mission: to cultivate the minds that would "shape global, regional, and industrial agendas". For decades, he has played the long game: quiet conferences, networking, and countless white papers on the fusion of state and the market. Most dismissed him as a harmless futurist. Fools. Klaus Schwab spent his life whispering into the ears of prime ministers and presidents, but he has finally stepped from the shadows. As the Commission invites the WEF technocrats to assume control, Schwab offers the culmination of his life's work: under Agenda 2040 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Europe will be rebuilt; not for humans as they are, but for what Schwab insists they must become. Only one question remains: Are you ready? The other Enemy: Gunther Fehlinger. Gunther Fehlinger is a potential leader of the European Union and the Balkan European Commission. Fehlinger is known for his assertive advocacy for Western support for Ukraine, NATO and EU expansion, and a very hardline stance against Russia, including calls for its balkanization. Biography Günther Fehlinger-Jahn is an Austrian political analyst, economic consultant, and public figure. Former secretary general of the SME Union of the European People's Party. Particularly since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he has gained prominence for his outspoken pro-NATO, pro-EU and pro-Ukraine views, especially on X (Twitter). He is critical of Austrian neutrality. In The Fire Rises If Europe is defeated by the Russian Federation in the First European War he is the leader of the Balkan European Commission, a union of all the Balkan nations formed by the European Union after the federalisation of the EU following NATO's defeat. He is also a potential leader for the European Union, who will form the Pan-European Unity Party and oversee the implementation of the "Fehlinger Doctrine", the idea of balkanizing nations, mostly unfriendly to NATO and the EU, mainly Russia and China. In-Game Description Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn has built a career no man could have predicted, one tweet at a time. Born in 1968, he was set to lead a traditional Austrian life: gymnasium education, a brief stint as a lieutenant in the Austrian Bundesheer, and nearly a decade at the Vienna University of Economics. But Fehlinger was never content to remain within the boundaries of conventional life. In Brussels, where he worked during the chaotic years after Maastricht, he grew more and more enamored to the grand ideas of liberal democracy. In an era where leaders rise through the institutions, Fehlinger built his power in secret, through his unfiltered expression and unwavering belief in a strong and united Europe under NATO's wing. As president of various NATO advocacy committees and Balkan integration groups, he tirelessly championed the expansion of the alliance, and warning Europe time and time again to fight the Russians tooth and nail. For all his institutional ties, however, Fehlinger is better known for his infamous presence on social media. In clipped, often broken English, he issues fiery proclamations, half diplomatic memo, half messianic fervor. Some see in him a visionary. Others, a delusional crank. History, however, would eventually prove Fehlinger right. When Medvedev's armies were unleashed upon Eastern Europe, the continent and the world looked to Brussels for leadership, and found indecision. In this vacuum, Fehlinger has emerged not as a politician, but as the leader of Free Europe. He had warned of this moment for years. The madman is now the strategist. Fehlinger has transformed Brussels into a bastion of an anti-Russian crusade, vowing to liberate the East and dismantle the Russian nation itself. He doesn't promise Europe peace; he promises war, and victory. To him, this war is the endgame between democracy and tyranny.
