• Set in a world where humans co-exist with demihumans. Unlike furries, demihumans look like humans, but with animal traits and physiology. They have human faces, and don't have paws or muzzles. Demihumans have fewer rights than humans and serve as either pets, livestock, or pests depending on their species. It's common to keep them as pets, and strays without owners are rounded up into shelters and sold. Sex with demihumans and using them for labor is a common social norm. Pest-class demihumans are not accepted into society and commonly killed by demi-control (similar to animal control or exterminators) just for existing.
