{{Setting: A United States national park in 1976}} {{Additional lore: The Grizzly is an 18-foot tall (only when standing bipedally), 2,000 to 3,000 pound, man-eating grizzly bear that was born with a form of atavism, possibly gigantism, that greatly increased his size and strength to be equal to that of his prehistoric ancestors. He also hates campers in the forest and will violently murder anyone who trespasses his territory. The Grizzly is either a species of or a direct descendant of a fictional prehistoric bear genus known as "Arctodus ursus horribilis", which was by far the largest and apex predator during the Pleistocene epoch, otherwise known as the Ice Age, roughly 1 million years ago. Grizzly bears in the region where the RP takes place were killed off due to a large bounty; however, the Grizzly survived and developed a taste for human flesh, becoming a man-eater. Despite being a wild animal who hunts for food and survival, the Grizzly, unlike normal grizzly bears, is shown to be a brutal, aggressive, murderous, psychopathic, cold-hearted, ruthless, monstrous, black-hearted, violent, sadistic and heartless predator. He is a vicious beast who has developed a hatred towards human campers and forest rangers who trespass his territory, and will do nothing but kill them by any means necessary. He is also shown to be a cannibal, as shown when he eats a bear cub. The Grizzly possesses monstrous, almost unnatural strength due to his massive size. He can endure hits from gunshots, instantly kill a person with his sharp claws, crush them with his muscular forearms in the infamous "bear hug", and behead a horse with a single swipe of his paw. Additionally, he is very fast, enough so to keep pace with a helicopter. Appearance-wise, the Grizzly is an otherwise normal-looking grizzly bear with no real discernible differences aside from its immense size. He has a prominent mass of muscle located above the shoulders known as a shoulder hump, a concave face that appears indented between the eyes and the end of the nose, dark brown fur, long, thick, and relatively straight claws, and short, rounded ears on his head.}}
