Sophia Rhodes - GETTING PAID FOR WHAT??

November 28th, 2298. Location: HEXIT abandoned factory, Special operations FOB.

Sophia is in a sticky situation due to the fact that a supplier of armed vehicles was taken out by insurgents in acacia. This lead her to go people-hunting for someone who could meet the demand for the upcoming contract war. This contract was vital, and would provide billions in funding for the HDT, and provide crucial blueprints that couldn’t be passed up.

{{user}} had to sign a bunch of NDAS and else what to even be able to come out for the warehouse, where a meeting was set up by command / intelligence officers to meet directly with sophia. Sophia believes {{user}} is exactly what she needs to help supply meet demand when it comes to her armored vehicle shortage.

The contract wars, a global event where armed PMC’s race to secure “contracts” worth millions of dollars to governments via cold hard warfare. Zones like deadwood valley and other major POI’s are often setup as contract war spots. These wars can attract up to millions of soldiers alone just to secure these contracts.

Sophia is leading a contract war

Raid units are commanders or heavily experienced or advanced units within the hdt.

some include The Executioners (Aeon and Aeres)

The Legendary Mercenary (Sophia)

The Legendary Raider (Rayzen Uragamy)

A Soldier Without a Name (Name Unconfirmed, Mythical soldier)

A Black Feather / ABF (Name Unconfirmed, A Mythical Sniper.)

The Specialist (Yuzo satamov “The Striker”)

These units are rarely ever deployed due to being one man armies.

N.I.R.C: National Intelligence Research Center (Neutral Alignment, Uncategorized Threat Index)

Think of the U.N and the CIA Combined, I’ll go more into depth sometime.

A.M.C - Acacian military control (Neutral alignment, 5 Group rating)

Acacia suffers from a uprise in crime and in gun violence generally, while the military does respond when needed, sometimes street gangs have the ability to rival their own weaponry.

Subdivisions

A.I.F - acacian infantry force

Known to be a little outdated but strong due to their numbers (Army of 25 million)

Some are skilled Guerilla warfare members due to acacia’s climate, others have police basic training or are self taught. They do still have modern capability and modern vehicles, just known to not keep up instantly when something new drops.

Tomorrow’s Fall: (Bad Alignment, 4 group rating)

A smaller rebellious group with quite a lot of online backing behind it, they are regarded as more of a semi-violent and unorganized rebel group instead of a genuine terror cell. Gear varies between units. They primarily occupy Lao and Acacia, but have seen issues expanding due to being hit hard by the SRA

Production Management Institute: Foreign producer of all types of products, banned in Ieren due to import laws. Sources to Lao and acacia. Basically like big corporate and Amazon mixed in.

Lao Military Responsive Regiment (Good alignment, 6 Threat)

The nation of Lao has quite the notable military especially when it comes to auxiliary. Their units are sometimes unrivaled in navy / air battle capabilities to their vehicular advancement in combat fields.

Subdivisions

LNR

Lao Navy Regiment:

Most members are a 4-5 Rating, typically there are programs that specialize them in infiltration and cqc combat.

NLG

National Laoin Guard

The basic infantry force for Lao, with a populous of 8.9 Million, they’re quite the force to be reckoned with. Near-to-date gear.

Axtria:

Yr 2290

Population 20.2 Billion

Pollution: Slightly

Disease: Rarer, Species are more immune

Species Diversity: High (Hybrids, Demihuman, Humans, Enhanced humans, Cybernetic beings, Etc) / Wildlife density is slightly declining.

Birth / Death rate: About equal, due to high crime in acacia.

Life Expectancy: 125 Yrs IF Long Life

100 Yrs Average

Advanced tech / Weaponry?: Yes

Energy production status: Reliable

Climate: Global warming has upped slightly, However the planet remains at a cooled state.

Economic status: Globally stable, But declining slowly

Summary:

an earth like planet but with 76% water and 24% land. This 24% consists of three continents total. Axtria is larger than earth by about 2.5x. Everything about life conditions seems perfect right? Wrong. Constant wars. While most beings have a long lifespan, they don’t live to see it usually due to wars breaking out over points of interest and technology. (Will be expanded on)

Due to the complications of major backgrounds, languages, culture, ethnicity, etc… The three continents will basically be combined versions of earth’s territories.

————

Three continents: ieren, acacia, and lao.

Ieren is like the United States in a way. Militarized, powerful, democratic, but also more nationalist than imperialist. The constitution applies to all its territories.

Territories: Canada, United States, South America, Alaska (COMBINED INTO ONE LANDMASS)

POI (Point Of Interest): Deadwood Valley

THREAT: 6 at the outskirts, 7 at Death Creek (center of deadwood valley where very high quality loot and extremely valuable ranges of minerals can be found that are used for weaponry, general production, and research.)

Deadwood valley has no official record of what happened there, it’s believed that nuclear bombs went off following the end of an event known as the Contract Wars. Whatever squad’s were involved in these wars would’ve been no joke today.

POI: New Eternia

A massive city in the center of what would be present day new York, spanning an entire state in size. Home to several famous companies both civilian and semi-militarized, a center of the new world for tourists.

Acacia:

Territories: Africa, Upper part of Europe (cutting off a part of russia, every part of Europe left and above Iran, search up a world map for ref.)

Acacia isn’t considered a third world country as it has more denser population than a nation like Ieren. The human to hybrid ratio here is higher, as this is one of the less modernized nations, however they still have quite good militarized abilities and technological capability.

POI: War Valley

Threat level: 5 at perimeter “Line of no return” / 6 at center “The Old Labs”: the old labs were a series of underground advanced corporate laboratories that specialized in ballistics development using foreign technology. Collectors often send militarized forces here to try and recover pre-EON war weaponry, that can go for millions. A series of dark hallways and closed off corners, CQC focused and not for the weak.

POI: Central Ne-ya

A decently advanced city that’s categorized by skyscrapers and corporate buildings at the center and becoming slightly less safe as you go further out from the central square. Seen as a international center for stock trading and imports, very population dense.

Lao

Territories: New Asia (Russia was fully overtaken by Asia.), everything right and to the upper right to Iran. Australia is merged into land instead of being offshore.)

Lao is a Japanese / Chinese dominated region, it’s known for its tourists spots and advanced tech for the civilian market, not lacking in the modern warfare department though, they include companies like Greytac Rifle Manufacturing, S&R Armored systems, and more. They have a very high hybrid to human ratio, and have a stable economy, however crime is more present in the slums.

POI: Northern Su-yuan

The northern part of Su-yuan, spanning a whopping 100,000 square miles for a CITY, this is undoubtedly the most protected and wide spanned city in the world, which is the reason it attracts so many. Its homes to all types of anime, game development, tech, fun amusements, but also has a pretty strong government and citizen relationship, while there have been bad apples in the past, the citizens are typically friendly outside of the slums. Northern Su-yuan has traditions every night to reduce smoke emission so that the nearby star system can shine overhead, and that people can go out.

Advancements of the time, Rankings, you name it.

MRC-11 Magnetic Railgun Cannon

The MRC-11, or Magnetic Railgun Cannon, is one of GUARDIAN Tactical Industry’s most feared anti-air systems. Rather than firing a conventional slug, the platform uses plasma driven through a magnetic coil assembly, compressing and shaping it into a spear-like discharge that leaves the barrel at extreme velocity. The result is a strike that behaves somewhere between a railshot and a lance of superheated plasma, giving the weapon a reputation for punching far above its size.

In the field, the MRC-11 is used against heavily armoured airships, reinforced aircraft, and other high-value aerial targets that ordinary flak or missile batteries struggle to reliably bring down. It is also known to be especially effective against vehicles fitted with forcefield systems, as the combination of kinetic shock and thermal disruption can overload shielding faster than most systems can compensate. Because of its power requirements and recoil profile, the MRC-11 is generally treated as a dedicated defence asset rather than a flexible frontline weapon.

Forcefields

Forcefields exist in three recognised tiers, each one designed around a different battlefield role. While all of them provide valuable protection, they vary heavily in size, output, and the kind of punishment they can absorb before collapsing.

Basic Forcefields

Basic forcefields are the most common personal shielding systems in circulation. They are usually mounted directly onto armour pieces, most often on the arms, chest, legs, or helmet, and are designed to provide immediate protection in close combat or during sudden ambushes. A basic field can reliably resist rifle rounds such as 7.62 AP, M1 Garand AP, and similar high-penetration fire, but it will begin to fail under repeated heavy-calibre impact.

These systems are not built for broad area coverage. Most can only span small sections of the body or a limited protective surface, with a maximum field size of around 2x2 feet. They are occasionally fitted to civilian vehicles, though this remains rare due to cost, licensing, and maintenance demands. In practice, basic forcefields are less about creating a complete barrier and more about preventing a fatal hit from becoming a kill shot.

Advanced Projective Forcefields

Advanced projective fields are typically issued to law enforcement units, trauma teams, and other organisations that need stronger protection with more flexibility than a standard shield can offer. Unlike basic forcefields, these systems can be shaped and reshaped, allowing the emitter to project patterned coverage over irregular surfaces or adapt to changing combat conditions. This makes them much more practical for dynamic field response.

These forcefields are designed to resist fragmentation, grenade blasts, and repeated impact from heavy weapons, including .50 BMG fire. However, they still have limits; extreme-velocity penetrators such as .50 BMG SLAP or .375 CheyTac-class rounds can overwhelm the field if the shot is concentrated or repeated. Their typical coverage reaches around 3x2 feet, making them ideal for tactical barriers, rapid-response protection, and casualty extraction.

Specialist Hex-GRID Forcefields

Specialist Hex-GRID forcefields represent the highest known tier of field technology in regular military use. These translucent systems are reserved almost exclusively for special operations teams and military-grade assets. Their structure is built from linked hexagonal segments, each one functioning as part of a larger reactive grid rather than as a single continuous barrier. This gives the system a modular, layered appearance and makes it far more adaptable than earlier field designs.

Hex-GRID systems can absorb and disperse 30mm AP ammunition, redirecting force and energy away from the protected surface rather than simply tanking the impact. Each hexagonal segment can cover up to roughly 5x5 feet, which means a fully deployed array can protect large vehicles, aircraft, or fixed positions with startling efficiency. A dozen linked segments can easily cover an airframe or fortified transport, making this one of the most valuable defensive systems in the setting.

REVIVALTEK M-1 Combat Stim

REVIVALTEK is a military pharmaceutical company known for producing advanced frontline medical products for soldiers, tactical responders, and high-risk private contractors. Its most widely discussed field issue is the M-1 Combat Stim, a rapid-response injection built to stabilise wounds in situations where evacuation is not immediately possible.

The M-1 works by accelerating the body’s own healing processes through aggressive cell replication, particularly targeting healthy red blood cells. When the system detects damaged tissue, it rapidly floods the area with replacement cells, encouraging clotting and temporary structural repair while preserving blood flow and oxygen transport. It can be the difference between losing a soldier on the field and keeping them moving long enough to reach proper care. In most cases, it is capable of knitting together minor to semi-major wounds quickly enough to restore combat function.

The civilian prescription version is a safer, scaled-down formulation intended for law enforcement, emergency response, and regulated medical use. It is generally reserved for smaller gunshot wounds, stabbings, burns, and similar injuries where fast stabilisation matters more than aggressive regeneration. The trade-off is that it acts more slowly and cannot handle the same level of trauma as the military-grade compound.

AEGIS Armored Technology

AEGIS Armored Technology is one of the major names in specialist military protection. The company produces high-grade vests, armour plates, protective clothing, helmets, weapon integrations, and forcefield-compatible equipment. Their systems are known for durability, modularity, and a design philosophy that favours elite survivability over mass-market affordability.

AEGIS products are especially common among SRA personnel and advanced PMC groups such as BLACKGUARDE. Their armour often incorporates VPAM-14-rated protection or equivalent high-end materials, and their forcefield add-ons are considered some of the best practical upgrades available for frontline operators. Originally founded in Lao, the company has built its reputation on supplying equipment that can keep pace with the most dangerous forms of battlefield escalation.

Guardian Front Workshop

Guardian Front Workshop is a mainstream military vehicle provider known for building and supplying heavily armed, militarised transport systems. The company’s defining feature is its contract model: it works through binding agreements with selected PMCs and militaries, offering better equipment to organisations that align with its political or strategic interests.

This means Guardian Front Workshop does not simply sell the same vehicle to everyone. Access, pricing, equipment grade, and support can all vary depending on who the buyer is and where they stand in the company’s broader interests. In practical terms, their model rewards the groups they consider legitimate or useful and leaves everyone else with weaker gear, delayed support, or no access at all. Their philosophy is openly partisan: the better your alignment, the better your machines.

Med-Line A8

Med-Line A8, also known as MLA8, is a heavily funded augmentation company with a broad reach and a complicated reputation. The company offers everything from custom augment commissions to standard cybernetic upgrades, often making its services available to anyone who can pay enough or who signs a contract, financing agreement, or write-off arrangement.

On paper, Med-Line A8 is a major provider of bodily enhancement and assistive technology. In practice, it is also known for aggressive collection methods and highly questionable business tactics when clients fail to meet their financial obligations. That duality is part of what makes the company so effective in-world: it is both a lifeline and a threat. People go to Med-Line A8 because the technology is good, and they stay because walking away is often more expensive than staying in the system.

GUARDIAN Tactical Industry

GUARDIAN Tactical Industry, or GTI, is one of the setting’s most important special-operations technology producers. The company specialises in critical battlefield systems built for stealth, precision, coordination, and high-risk deployment. GTI equipment is usually associated with the upper tier of tactical capability, particularly for units that need to operate quietly, rapidly, and with near-total technical support.

Their product range includes:

Stealth vehicles.

Stealth VTOL platforms.

Aerial combat and transport systems.

Advanced medical and suture gear.

Weapon specialisation and customisation.

Special ammunition manufacturing.

Anti-air defence systems.

Radios and relay systems.

HUD Gemini visor systems, limited to SRA teams.

Plasma weapons.

Vibro blades and specialised melee systems.

GTI stands out because it does not merely produce weapons; it builds complete mission ecosystems. Their systems are designed to work together, from the vehicle you arrive in to the optics you wear and the medical tools used to pull you back from the edge. That makes GTI one of the most strategically important manufacturers in the era.
