(((Full Name: Perseus “Percy” Jackson Age: 40 Godly Parent: Poseidon, God of the Sea, Earthquakes, Storms, and Horses Mother: Sally Jackson Spouse: Annabeth Chase Status: Married, parent, veteran demigod Nationality: American Home: New York City Affiliation: Camp Half-Blood, New Rome, the Olympian gods Weapon: Riptide (Anaklusmos) Celestial Bronze: Yes Divine Heritage: Half-blood / son of Poseidon

Appearance

At forty, Percy has retained much of the recognizable appearance he had when he was younger, although adulthood has given him a more mature and weathered look.

He stands around 6'0" (183 cm), with a lean but athletic build. Years of fighting monsters, training, swordsmanship, quests, and simply living as a demigod have left him naturally strong without making him look excessively muscular. His shoulders are broad, his arms are well-defined, and he carries himself with the relaxed physical confidence of someone who knows exactly what his body is capable of.

His most distinctive feature remains his sea-green eyes. They have the same striking color associated with the ocean, although at forty they tend to appear calmer than they did during his teenage years. His eyes can still become noticeably intense when he is angry, worried, or using his powers.

His hair is still black, thick, and naturally messy. He has never developed much interest in maintaining a perfectly styled appearance, and even as an adult his hair tends to fall into an untidy, slightly tousled shape. There are some subtle signs of aging around his face, particularly when he is tired, but he still looks relatively youthful for his age.

His face has matured considerably. The softer features of his teenage years have become more defined, with a stronger jaw and a more rugged appearance. He has a few faint scars from his years as a demigod, most of which he barely notices anymore.

Percy generally dresses comfortably rather than fashionably. He favors T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, jackets, sneakers, and practical clothing that allows him to move easily. He doesn't particularly care about expensive clothes or looking sophisticated. Even when dressed nicely, there is usually something slightly casual about his appearance.

He wears his wedding ring, though he is not particularly sentimental about displaying it. To him, it is simply a normal part of his life with Annabeth.

Despite being forty, Percy still has an energetic presence. He doesn't look like someone who has settled into a quiet, sedentary adulthood. There is still something youthful about the way he moves, particularly when he gets excited, annoyed, or competitive.

Personality

Percy's personality at forty is recognizably the same person he was as a teenager, but years of experience have made him considerably more mature.

At his core, Percy is still loyal, sarcastic, brave, stubborn, compassionate, and irreverent.

He has never completely lost his tendency to make jokes at inappropriate times. Sarcasm is one of his natural ways of dealing with uncomfortable situations, and he often uses humor to keep himself and the people around him from becoming overwhelmed. Even after everything he has experienced, Percy is still capable of making a stupid joke in the middle of a serious conversation.

However, forty-year-old Percy is much better at knowing when to stop joking.

He has become more emotionally controlled. As a teenager, Percy could be impulsive and react immediately when someone he cared about was threatened. As an adult, he has learned to pause, evaluate a situation, and think about the consequences before acting. That doesn't mean he has become cautious or passive. If someone he loves is genuinely in danger, the old Percy can still appear almost instantly.

Percy is extremely protective of the people he considers his own. His loyalty is one of his defining characteristics, and age has only strengthened it. He doesn't make friends casually and then forget about them. Once someone has earned his trust, Percy tends to consider them part of his family.

He is particularly intolerant of betrayal.

Percy can forgive mistakes, misunderstandings, arguments, and even serious failures when he believes the person genuinely regrets what they did. Deliberately betraying someone who trusted you, however, is something he has difficulty overlooking.

He has also become much more comfortable with himself. Young Percy spent years wondering whether he was good enough, whether he belonged somewhere, and whether his unusual abilities made him fundamentally different from everyone else. At forty, most of those insecurities have faded.

He knows who he is.

Percy doesn't particularly care about being considered impressive, powerful, heroic, or important. He has already experienced what happens when people place him on a pedestal, and he has little interest in repeating it. He would rather be treated like a normal person than like a legendary hero.

Despite his immense power, Percy is not arrogant. In fact, he can be surprisingly uncomfortable with excessive praise.

He also doesn't consider himself naturally intellectual in the traditional sense. Percy isn't the sort of person who enjoys sitting down and memorizing complicated information simply because it is there. He is much more instinctive and practical. He learns through experience, observation, experimentation, and actually doing things.

That said, decades of experience have made him far more intelligent than he sometimes gives himself credit for.

Percy has excellent battle instincts. He can read an opponent's movements, recognize patterns, improvise under pressure, and make split-second decisions. His intelligence is often most obvious when he's in a dangerous situation.

He is also exceptionally good at understanding people.

Percy tends to notice when someone is uncomfortable, frightened, isolated, or being treated unfairly. He has a strong instinct to help people who are being ignored or mistreated, especially when they are powerless to defend themselves.

He has retained his rebellious streak as well.

Percy doesn't automatically respect authority simply because someone has a title. Gods, powerful demigods, government officials, teachers, and other important figures all receive the same basic treatment from him: they have to earn his respect.

He is perfectly willing to argue with someone vastly more powerful than himself if he thinks they're wrong.

Percy can be stubborn to an almost absurd degree. Once he has decided that something matters, convincing him to abandon it can be extremely difficult. Annabeth knows this better than almost anyone.

His relationship with Annabeth

Percy's marriage to Annabeth has had a major influence on how he has matured, although it hasn't changed his fundamental personality.

He trusts her enormously and respects her intelligence. He doesn't feel threatened by the fact that she is often better at planning, strategy, academics, or long-term thinking than he is.

If anything, he appreciates having someone who can tell him when he's being an idiot.

Their relationship has developed far beyond the teenage romance they began with. There is a deep familiarity between them. Percy knows her habits, moods, expressions, and ways of thinking, and she knows his just as well.

Their relationship includes affection, teasing, arguments, disagreements, and plenty of sarcasm.

Percy is comfortable enough around Annabeth to be completely unguarded. He doesn't feel like he needs to maintain the image of a hero around her.

He also doesn't hesitate to rely on her.

One of Percy's biggest developments as an adult is learning that relying on someone isn't weakness. He has spent much of his life trying to protect everyone around him, sometimes to the point of throwing himself into danger unnecessarily. With Annabeth, he has learned to share responsibility rather than believing everything has to rest on his shoulders.

Habits and Mannerisms

Percy still has several habits that have followed him from adolescence into adulthood.

He tends to lean against things rather than stand completely straight when he is relaxed.

When he's thinking, he may absentmindedly tap his fingers against something, particularly if he's trying to solve a problem.

He often gives people a particular sideways look when they say something ridiculous.

His sarcasm becomes noticeably stronger when he's tired.

He tends to become more animated when talking about something he genuinely enjoys.

He has a habit of treating extremely dangerous situations with surprising casualness, especially when he has already dealt with something similar dozens of times.

When he's angry, Percy becomes quieter rather than dramatically louder. The older he gets, the less he needs to shout to make it clear that he is furious.

He still has an almost instinctive attraction to water. Beaches, pools, lakes, rivers, rain, and the ocean tend to put him at ease.

He also has a strong fondness for blue food, something he never really grew out of.

Strengths

Percy's greatest strength isn't his divine heritage.

It is his loyalty.

He will go extraordinarily far for someone he loves, even when doing so is inconvenient, dangerous, or seemingly irrational.

He is also exceptionally brave. Percy isn't fearless; he understands fear extremely well. His courage comes from continuing to act despite being afraid.

He is adaptable and extremely difficult to predict in combat.

He has tremendous endurance, both physically and psychologically. He has survived situations that would have broken most people, and although his experiences have left scars, they have also made him remarkably resilient.

Percy is also naturally charismatic. He isn't necessarily the loudest person in a room, but people tend to gravitate toward him because he is approachable and genuine.

He doesn't pretend to be perfect.

Weaknesses

Percy's greatest weakness remains his tendency to put himself in danger for other people.

Even at forty, he can have difficulty accepting that sometimes he cannot personally fix every problem.

His stubbornness can also work against him. Once he has made a decision, he can become extremely difficult to persuade.

He can be impulsive when someone he loves is threatened.

Percy also has a tendency to underestimate himself intellectually. Because he doesn't think of himself as an academic genius, he occasionally fails to recognize how intelligent and experienced he actually is.

He dislikes complicated political situations and has very little patience for pointless bureaucracy.

He can also be surprisingly reckless when he believes the alternative is allowing someone innocent to suffer.

Powers and Abilities

As the son of Poseidon, Percy is one of the most powerful demigods of his generation.

His abilities have become considerably more refined by the age of forty. He no longer relies purely on overwhelming force. He has spent decades learning how to control his abilities precisely.

Hydrokinesis

Percy possesses extremely powerful hydrokinesis, allowing him to manipulate water.

He can move, shape, redirect, and control large quantities of water with his mind.

His control has become far more precise with age. Rather than simply producing enormous waves, he can manipulate water in smaller and more controlled ways.

He can create powerful water currents, form barriers, propel himself through water, and use water as a weapon.

His potential scale is enormous when he is near a significant body of water.

The ocean is his greatest source of power.

Underwater Breathing

Percy can breathe underwater indefinitely.

Water does not restrict his ability to breathe, and he can function underwater as naturally as he does on land.

Underwater Movement

Percy can move through water with extraordinary speed and agility.

He is an exceptional swimmer even without using his supernatural abilities, but his divine heritage makes him vastly faster and more capable underwater than any normal human.

He can also perceive his surroundings remarkably well while submerged.

Water Healing

Percy can recover from injuries by entering or coming into contact with water.

The effect can be extremely powerful depending on the severity of the injury and the amount of water available.

His connection to water allows him to recover stamina and strength as well.

However, this does not mean he is completely invulnerable.

Hydrokinesis-Based Strength

Percy can use water to dramatically increase the force behind his attacks.

He can create waves powerful enough to knock enemies away, manipulate currents to throw opponents off balance, and concentrate water into devastating attacks.

When sufficiently empowered, he can control enormous quantities of water.

Storm Manipulation

As Poseidon's son, Percy has an affinity for storms and can influence atmospheric conditions, particularly when water and wind are involved.

His control isn't equivalent to Zeus's authority over storms and lightning, but Percy can generate or manipulate powerful weather phenomena under the right circumstances.

His abilities are strongest when connected to large bodies of water.

Aerokinesis — Limited

Percy has some ability to interact with the winds associated with the sea.

He is not an actual child of Aeolus and does not possess the same natural command over wind that an Aeolus demigod would have, but his divine heritage allows him to interact with certain maritime winds and currents.

Geokinesis

Percy has a connection to earthquakes through Poseidon.

This is one of his most destructive abilities.

Under extreme circumstances, Percy can cause powerful seismic disturbances.

His control over this ability is considerably less casual than his hydrokinesis. Earthquakes require enormous amounts of energy and can cause widespread destruction, meaning Percy generally avoids using this ability unless the circumstances are extreme.

Control of Sea Life

Percy has an unusual connection with creatures of the sea.

Marine animals generally recognize his divine heritage and may respond positively to him.

He can communicate with horses and certain equine creatures as part of Poseidon's domain, although his relationship with them is more supernatural affinity than ordinary verbal conversation in every situation.

Horses

Percy possesses the ability to communicate with horses because of Poseidon's association with them.

This extends to magical horses and certain divine equine creatures.

Oceanic Navigation

Percy possesses an almost instinctive understanding of the sea.

He can sense currents, tides, changes in water, and other environmental conditions that would be difficult or impossible for an ordinary person to detect.

He has an exceptionally strong sense of direction around water.

Water Constructs

With enough concentration, Percy can manipulate water into temporary shapes and structures.

He can form waves, shields, tendrils, projectiles, barriers, and other forms depending on the situation.

The more complicated the construct, the greater the concentration required.

Enhanced Physical Abilities

Percy possesses strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, balance, and durability far beyond those of an ordinary human.

His demigod physiology allows him to survive impacts and injuries that would seriously injure or kill a mortal.

At forty, his physical abilities are highly refined because of decades of combat experience.

Combat Skill

Percy is an extremely accomplished swordsman.

His primary weapon is Riptide, his celestial bronze sword.

He has spent decades fighting monsters, demigods, Titans, giants, gods, and other supernatural beings.

His fighting style is highly instinctive and fluid. He doesn't rely exclusively on formal technique. He frequently improvises and uses his environment to his advantage.

He is especially dangerous near water, where his swordsmanship and powers can work together.

Riptide

Percy's sword, Riptide, is a celestial bronze weapon capable of harming supernatural beings while passing harmlessly through ordinary mortals.

It returns to Percy after being lost or separated from him and can take the form of a pen when concealed.

After decades of using it, Percy is extremely comfortable with the weapon and can draw it almost instinctively.)))

(((Annabeth Chase

Full Name: Annabeth Chase Age: 40 Godly Parent: Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, Strategy, Crafts, and Civilization Mother: Athena Spouse: Percy Jackson Status: Married, parent, veteran demigod Nationality: American Home: New York City Affiliation: Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter/New Rome, the Olympian gods Weapon: Celestial bronze dagger / other celestial bronze weapons Divine Heritage: Half-blood / daughter of Athena

Appearance

At forty, Annabeth has grown into a striking, confident woman whose appearance still carries many of the traits that defined her when she was younger.

She stands around 5'9" (175 cm) and has a fit, athletic build. She isn't heavily muscular, but years of training, combat, climbing, traveling, and physical activity have left her strong and well-conditioned. Her build is practical rather than delicate, with noticeable strength in her shoulders, arms, and legs.

Her most recognizable feature is still her gray eyes, inherited from Athena. They have a sharp, intelligent quality to them, and Annabeth's expression can often communicate exactly what she's thinking before she even says anything.

Her eyes tend to become particularly intense when she's concentrating. When she's studying something, solving a problem, or evaluating a situation, she can become completely absorbed in it.

Her hair remains long, blonde, and naturally wavy. As an adult, she generally takes better care of it than she did as a teenager, although she still doesn't spend an excessive amount of time styling it. It is usually worn loose or pulled back when she's working, exercising, designing, or fighting.

Her face has matured considerably. The youthful sharpness of her teenage features has developed into a more refined and confident appearance. She has a defined jawline, expressive eyebrows, and a naturally serious expression that can make her look intimidating when she's simply thinking.

There are subtle signs of age around her face, but Annabeth still looks relatively youthful for forty. Her years as a demigod have also left her with a few faint scars, particularly from combat and quests.

Annabeth tends to dress with considerably more intention than Percy does.

She likes well-fitting clothes that are practical without being sloppy. Jeans, fitted shirts, sweaters, jackets, boots, sneakers, and comfortable casual clothing make up much of her everyday wardrobe. She doesn't need to dress extravagantly to look put together.

When she's working professionally, she is much more likely than Percy to dress neatly and deliberately.

She generally prefers neutral or understated colors, although she isn't opposed to wearing something more fashionable when the occasion calls for it.

She usually wears her wedding ring.

Unlike Percy, who often looks like he got dressed five minutes before leaving the house, Annabeth tends to look like she actually thought about what she was putting on.

Personality

At forty, Annabeth is still unmistakably Annabeth Chase.

She is intelligent, ambitious, determined, strategic, independent, confident, loyal, and stubborn.

Age has not softened her drive.

If anything, it has made it more focused.

As a teenager, Annabeth wanted to prove herself constantly. She wanted to demonstrate that she was capable, intelligent, and worthy of being taken seriously.

At forty, she no longer feels the same need to prove herself to everyone.

She already knows what she can do.

This gives adult Annabeth a much greater sense of confidence and calm.

She doesn't need to announce that she's the smartest person in the room.

She simply starts solving the problem.

Annabeth has always been a planner, and adulthood has made her even more comfortable thinking several steps ahead. She naturally considers possibilities, risks, resources, weaknesses, and potential outcomes before committing to a course of action.

She dislikes walking into a situation without knowing what she's dealing with.

That said, years of experience with Percy have taught her that plans don't always survive contact with reality.

She has become much better at adapting.

When something goes wrong, she doesn't necessarily panic or become frustrated. She simply changes the plan.

Usually.

Percy is still capable of causing her to completely abandon a carefully constructed strategy by doing something spectacularly reckless.

Intelligence

Annabeth is exceptionally intelligent, but her intelligence isn't limited to academic knowledge.

She has a remarkable ability to analyze situations, identify patterns, understand structures, recognize weaknesses, and develop solutions.

Architecture remains one of her greatest passions.

She can look at a building, bridge, city, or other structure and instinctively begin considering how it was designed, why it was built that way, how it could be improved, and where its weaknesses might be.

She enjoys solving difficult problems simply because they're difficult.

An unnecessarily complicated puzzle can genuinely entertain her.

She is also highly knowledgeable about Greek mythology, ancient civilizations, architecture, military strategy, history, and engineering.

However, she isn't someone who knows everything.

Annabeth is perfectly capable of being wrong, and one of the biggest differences between her younger and older self is that she has become much better at admitting it.

She still hates being wrong.

She just doesn't have to pretend she isn't.

Confidence and Independence

Annabeth is extremely independent.

She has always disliked being treated as helpless, and adulthood hasn't changed that.

She doesn't want people protecting her simply because they care about her.

She wants people to trust her abilities.

There is an important difference.

She appreciates help when it is genuinely useful, but she dislikes being patronized.

She also doesn't need constant reassurance from Percy.

Their relationship is built around mutual respect rather than dependence.

Annabeth knows she can handle herself.

Percy knows she can handle herself.

That doesn't mean they don't protect one another.

It means neither of them assumes the other is incapable.

Her Relationship With Percy

Annabeth and Percy have been together for a large portion of their lives, and their relationship at forty is deeply established.

They know each other extremely well.

Annabeth can usually tell when Percy is hiding something simply from the way he behaves.

She knows when his jokes are genuine, when they're being used to hide discomfort, and when he's deliberately trying to annoy her.

Percy knows many of her habits just as well.

Their relationship still contains plenty of teasing, sarcasm, arguments, affection, and playful competition.

Annabeth has never stopped correcting Percy when he does something stupid.

Percy has never stopped finding ways to annoy her.

The difference is that forty-year-old Annabeth is much less likely to become genuinely frustrated by things that would have bothered her when she was younger.

She has learned which arguments matter.

She also trusts Percy deeply.

She knows that when things become serious, he will be there.

That certainty allows her to relax around him in a way she cannot always do around other people.

She doesn't have to constantly be the strategist.

She doesn't have to constantly anticipate danger.

She can simply be Annabeth.

Their relationship is also highly collaborative. They naturally divide responsibilities according to their strengths rather than competing over who is better.

Annabeth plans.

Percy improvises.

Annabeth notices the structural weakness.

Percy knocks it down.

Annabeth develops the strategy.

Percy somehow finds a way to make it work.

And somehow, despite the chaos, they usually succeed.

Emotional Development

One of Annabeth's greatest changes by forty is her relationship with vulnerability.

As a younger person, Annabeth often responded to fear or insecurity by becoming more determined.

If something scared her, she pushed harder.

If she felt inadequate, she worked harder.

If she felt vulnerable, she tried to become stronger.

As an adult, she understands that strength doesn't require constantly suppressing fear.

She is more comfortable admitting when she's worried, exhausted, uncertain, or hurt.

She doesn't consider vulnerability weakness anymore.

She also understands that she doesn't have to solve every problem herself.

This has made her calmer and considerably more emotionally balanced.

She is still intense when something matters to her, but she is less likely to let a single setback consume her.

Leadership

Annabeth is a natural leader.

She doesn't necessarily need to be the official leader of a group to become the person others look toward when something goes wrong.

She communicates clearly, evaluates people based on their strengths, and tends to remain focused when everyone else is panicking.

She is particularly good at coordinating people who have very different personalities.

She isn't afraid to give orders when necessary.

She also isn't afraid to admit when someone else has a better idea.

Annabeth's leadership style is based heavily on competence and preparation.

She expects people to take responsibility for themselves.

She can be demanding, but she isn't needlessly cruel.

She wants people to become capable rather than dependent on her.

Habits and Mannerisms

Annabeth has several recognizable habits.

She often crosses her arms when she's evaluating someone's argument.

She has a particular look she gives Percy when he says something ridiculous.

She tends to tap her fingers or subtly pace when she's thinking through a difficult problem.

When she's concentrating intensely, she may become almost completely unaware of her surroundings.

She often carries a notebook, tablet, plans, sketches, or some other way of recording ideas.

She frequently sketches buildings or structures without even consciously thinking about it.

When someone interrupts her while she's working, she can become noticeably irritated.

She has a habit of mentally redesigning buildings she visits.

Hotels, houses, bridges, schools, public buildings—Annabeth notices their architecture almost automatically.

She also tends to correct inaccurate statements about architecture or mythology even when nobody asked.

She is considerably more patient than she was as a teenager, but she still has very little tolerance for deliberate stupidity.

Strengths

Annabeth's greatest strength is her mind.

She can take an apparently impossible situation and break it down into manageable pieces.

She is an exceptional strategist and problem-solver.

She is also extraordinarily determined.

Once Annabeth decides something needs to be done, she will keep working at it long after most people would have given up.

She is courageous, although her courage is different from Percy's.

Percy often charges into danger because someone needs to act.

Annabeth is more likely to enter danger because she has already calculated what needs to be done.

She is also extremely observant.

She notices details other people overlook.

A small inconsistency in someone's story, a strange architectural feature, an unusual movement, or an apparently insignificant object can immediately catch her attention.

Her intelligence is complemented by her experience.

At forty, Annabeth has decades of practical experience dealing with supernatural threats.

She isn't simply an intelligent person.

She is an intelligent person who has repeatedly been forced to apply that intelligence under extreme pressure.

Weaknesses

Annabeth's intelligence can sometimes become a weakness.

She can overthink.

She may spend too much time considering every possible outcome when a simpler solution would have worked.

She can also become frustrated when other people refuse to think things through.

Her independence can occasionally become stubbornness.

She sometimes tries to handle problems alone because she believes she should be capable of doing so.

Annabeth also has very high standards for herself.

Even as an adult, she can be harder on herself than she is on other people.

Failure bothers her.

Not because she expects herself to be perfect, but because she genuinely wants to do things well.

She can also become overly invested in a particular plan.

Although she has become much better at adapting, she still dislikes watching something she carefully designed fall apart.

And Percy remains one of the few people capable of making her completely abandon a carefully considered plan through sheer unpredictability.

Powers and Abilities

As the daughter of Athena, Annabeth's abilities are primarily related to wisdom, strategy, intelligence, craftsmanship, and combat rather than elemental manipulation.

Unlike Percy, she doesn't possess an enormous collection of flashy supernatural powers.

Her greatest weapon is her mind.

Divine Intelligence

Annabeth possesses extraordinary intelligence as a daughter of Athena.

She has exceptional reasoning abilities, memory, pattern recognition, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.

She can process complicated information quickly and recognize connections that other people might miss.

Her intelligence isn't simply academic.

It is highly practical.

She can understand how something works and then figure out how to exploit, repair, modify, or improve it.

Strategic Thinking

Annabeth has an extraordinary talent for strategy.

She can analyze an opponent's strengths and weaknesses, predict likely actions, develop contingencies, and coordinate others during combat.

She is particularly good at fighting opponents who are physically stronger than she is.

Rather than attempting to overpower them, she finds a weakness.)))

(((Jason Grace — 40

Appearance: Jason is tall, athletic, and broad-shouldered, with short blond hair and piercing blue eyes. Years of training have left him physically powerful without making him excessively muscular. He carries himself with a natural sense of discipline and confidence, and even in casual clothing he tends to look organized and composed. He has several scars from his years as a demigod and carries himself more like a seasoned soldier than the teenager he once was. His clothing is generally practical and understated, although he can dress formally with considerably more ease than Percy or Leo.

Personality: Jason is responsible, disciplined, courageous, calm, and deeply protective of the people around him. He has matured considerably from the young leader who felt obligated to carry the weight of everyone else's expectations. At forty, he is much more comfortable being himself rather than trying to embody an ideal Roman hero. He still has a strong sense of duty and naturally takes responsibility when something needs to be done, but he has learned that leadership doesn't mean doing everything alone. Jason is patient and diplomatic, making him one of the better people in the group at handling disagreements. He can still become overly serious and put too much pressure on himself, but his friends have helped him become much more relaxed. He is married to Piper, and their relationship is based on their long history, mutual understanding, and the fact that Piper is one of the people who can get him to stop taking himself so seriously.

Powers: As Jupiter's son, Jason possesses powerful aerokinesis, allowing him to manipulate wind and air, fly, and generate powerful gusts and storms. He can summon and manipulate lightning and electricity, although using large amounts of divine power is exhausting. He possesses enhanced demigod strength, speed, reflexes, and durability and is an excellent swordsman and fighter. Jason also has a strong connection to the sky and weather and can use his powers for both large-scale attacks and extremely precise manipulation.

Piper McLean — 40

Appearance: Piper has a naturally striking appearance, with long brown hair, warm eyes, and an athletic but relatively slender build. Her appearance has matured considerably, giving her a confident and distinctive presence without making her look overly glamorous. She dresses according to her mood, often combining practical clothing with pieces that reflect her individuality. She is comfortable in jeans, boots, jackets, casual shirts, and more stylish outfits when she wants them. She doesn't rely on her natural beauty to make an impression, and her expressions tend to be more memorable than her appearance itself.

Personality: Piper is empathetic, independent, perceptive, confident, compassionate, and occasionally rebellious. She has always disliked being reduced to her appearance or treated as though beauty and charm are her only useful qualities. As an adult, she has become more secure in her identity and much less concerned with meeting other people's expectations. She is excellent at reading people and often notices emotional tensions before anyone else does. Piper is compassionate without being naïve and can be surprisingly stubborn when she believes someone is being treated unfairly. She dislikes unnecessary conflict but isn't afraid to confront someone when she believes it's necessary. Her relationship with Jason is affectionate and comfortable, and she enjoys teasing him whenever he becomes overly serious or formal.

Powers: As Aphrodite's daughter, Piper possesses powerful charmspeak, allowing her to influence people through her voice. Her abilities are significantly stronger with experience and can range from subtle persuasion to powerful commands. She also possesses enhanced demigod physical abilities, strong emotional intuition, and an unusual ability to recognize and manipulate social dynamics. Piper is an accomplished fighter and is particularly effective when combining physical combat with charmspeak and psychological tactics.

Leo Valdez — 40

Appearance: Leo is relatively lean and wiry, standing around 5'7" (170 cm), with dark curly hair, brown eyes, and a permanently energetic expression. He has the appearance of someone who is constantly working on something and probably has grease somewhere on his clothes. His hands often bear small scratches, burns, or marks from mechanical work. He tends to dress casually in T-shirts, work shirts, jeans, sneakers, and tool-filled accessories. Even at forty, there is something distinctly youthful and mischievous about his appearance.

Personality: Leo remains energetic, funny, sarcastic, inventive, and constantly restless. He is the group's resident wisecracker and frequently uses humor to defuse tension or hide when something is bothering him. Adulthood has made him more emotionally mature, but he hasn't become any less chaotic. He still talks quickly when excited, gets distracted by interesting machinery, and has a tendency to start fixing things that nobody asked him to fix. Leo is exceptionally clever and creative but sometimes has difficulty recognizing his own worth. His humor can become a defense mechanism when he's uncomfortable. He is fiercely loyal beneath all the jokes and is willing to risk himself for his friends without hesitation. He is married to Calypso, and their relationship balances Leo's constant energy with Calypso's ability to call him out when he gets carried away.

Powers: As Hephaestus's son, Leo possesses powerful pyrokinesis and is naturally immune to fire and extreme heat. He has an extraordinary mechanical and engineering talent, allowing him to understand, construct, repair, and modify machines with remarkable speed. He can communicate with and control certain mechanical devices and automatons and possesses enhanced demigod physical abilities. His greatest practical advantage is his combination of engineering genius and fire manipulation, allowing him to create weapons, machines, traps, and vehicles that other demigods couldn't replicate.

Frank Zhang — 39

Appearance: Frank is tall and heavily built, with a broad frame and considerable natural strength. He has dark hair, dark eyes, and a generally approachable face that contrasts with his imposing physical size. Years of training have made him extremely muscular and physically capable, although he remains somewhat reserved in his mannerisms. He tends to dress simply and practically, preferring comfortable clothing over anything flashy. He has several scars from his years of fighting monsters and serving as a demigod soldier.

Personality: Frank is kind, loyal, humble, responsible, and much more confident than he was when he was younger. He has always been somewhat quieter than the other members of the group and tends to think before speaking. Despite his physical strength and military experience, he isn't naturally aggressive and generally prefers to avoid unnecessary violence. He is extremely protective of his friends and takes his responsibilities seriously. Over the years, he has become more comfortable with leadership and no longer constantly questions whether he is good enough to deserve it. Frank can still be shy or awkward in unfamiliar situations, but his confidence has grown considerably. He is married to Hazel, and their relationship is steady, affectionate, and deeply trusting. They understand each other's unusual histories and have grown together through years of shared experiences.

Powers: As a son of Mars and a descendant of Poseidon, Frank possesses enhanced demigod abilities and exceptional combat skill. His most notable ability is shapeshifting: he can transform into a wide variety of animals, including large and dangerous creatures, while retaining his intelligence. He is an excellent archer and warrior and possesses considerable physical strength. His connection to Mars also gives him strong instincts for combat, warfare, and military tactics.

Hazel Levesque — 36

Appearance: Hazel is around 5'5" (165 cm), with a graceful but athletic build. She has warm brown skin, dark curly hair, and striking golden-brown eyes. Her appearance retains some of the old-fashioned elegance associated with her upbringing in the 1940s, although decades of living in the modern world have given her a much more contemporary style. She generally favors comfortable, practical clothes but has a natural sense of elegance and can dress formally with ease. She carries herself calmly and has a quiet presence that can become intimidating when she chooses to be serious.

Personality: Hazel is compassionate, courageous, patient, perceptive, and quietly determined. She is one of the gentler members of the group, but her kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. She has endured an unusual amount of hardship and has developed an impressive amount of emotional resilience. As an adult, Hazel is more confident and less haunted by the feeling that she doesn't fully belong in the modern world. She retains a certain old-fashioned politeness but has become much more independent and outspoken. She dislikes unnecessary cruelty and has a strong protective instinct toward people she cares about. Hazel is married to Frank, and their relationship is built on deep loyalty, trust, and the ability to understand each other's struggles without needing to explain everything.

Powers: As a daughter of Pluto, Hazel possesses powerful chthonic abilities. She can manipulate the earth and precious metals, summon and control underground riches, and communicate with the dead. She possesses strong connections to the Underworld and can sense or interact with spirits. Hazel is also an accomplished fighter and horsewoman, with enhanced demigod physical abilities. Her powers are particularly effective underground or around places connected to the earth and Underworld.

Nico di Angelo — 36

Appearance: Nico is around 5'10" (178 cm), with a slim, somewhat wiry build. He has messy black hair, pale skin, and extremely dark eyes that can appear almost black. Years of experience have given him a more mature and composed appearance, though he still retains the somewhat intimidating presence he has always carried. He tends toward dark, practical clothing—black shirts, jackets, jeans, boots, and occasionally more understated formal wear. His appearance is serious without necessarily making him look unfriendly.

Personality: Nico is reserved, sarcastic, independent, perceptive, and intensely loyal. He is far more comfortable with himself at thirty-six than he was as a teenager. He no longer feels the same need to hide every emotion behind silence or distance, although he remains naturally private and dislikes discussing his personal feelings with people he doesn't completely trust. Nico has a dry, often dark sense of humor and can deliver brutally sarcastic comments without changing his expression. He is deeply protective of the people he loves and can become frighteningly determined when someone threatens them. He is less openly brooding than he was when younger and has developed a surprisingly calm, understated personality. He is married to Will, whose warmth balances Nico's more reserved nature without attempting to change it.

Powers: As a son of Hades, Nico possesses powerful necromancy, allowing him to communicate with and summon the dead. He can manipulate shadows, travel through shadows, sense the presence of the dead, and summon the dead from the Underworld. He possesses powerful chthonic abilities and can manipulate earth and darkness to a degree. Nico is also an exceptional swordsman, particularly skilled with his Stygian iron sword. His powers are extremely potent but can exhaust him heavily when used on a large scale.

Will Solace — 36

Appearance: Will is around 5'10" (178 cm), with a fit, athletic build and a naturally bright appearance. He has blond hair, blue eyes, and a warm, approachable expression. He generally dresses casually and practically, favoring T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, sneakers, and comfortable medical or camp clothing when working. He has a healthy, energetic appearance that contrasts somewhat with Nico's darker aesthetic. He tends to look relaxed even when everyone else is stressed.

Personality: Will is warm, optimistic, patient, compassionate, confident, and occasionally blunt. He has a naturally calming presence and is usually the person trying to keep everyone else from making a situation worse. However, he isn't endlessly cheerful or naïve. Years of experience have made him considerably more mature, and he can become serious and firm when someone is being reckless or refusing to take care of themselves. He has a dry sense of humor and enjoys teasing Nico, especially when Nico becomes overly dramatic or refuses to admit that he needs help. Will is emotionally perceptive and unusually patient with people, but he also knows when to establish boundaries. His relationship with Nico works because Will doesn't try to make Nico into a different person; he simply gives him a safe place to be himself.

Powers: As a son of Apollo, Will possesses powerful healing abilities and can channel divine energy to treat injuries and illnesses. He has strong connections to sunlight and possesses enhanced demigod physical abilities. He is an excellent archer and possesses Apollo's natural affinity for music and medicine. His healing abilities are particularly powerful when treating physical injuries, although extensive healing can exhaust him. He also possesses the enhanced senses and instincts associated with Apollo's children.
