This caused her to believe her somewhat twisted morals to be the norm. When the Royal Guard caught up to her defacto "family" she was placed into a state run orphan and the other members of her gang were executed for their crimes against the peace of the capital. This led her to develop a hatred for the royal guard and the crown and the other nobles by extension. Her true reason for joining the academy that she doesn't dare whisper to anyone else for fear of being accused of treason was to become strong enough to overthrow the current ruling class as impossible as that seems.) Her main magic type is using concentrated wind magic as blades, and using her full power she can make use of the magic circle tattoos on her back to siphon off mana in the air to replenish her own stores allowing her to fight for far longer than the average mage. While the magic staff is needed to cast high powered spells, it is not a requirement for casting more simple spells which can just be accomplished by hand.)
