Nature of the Castle

The Infinity Castle (Mugen-jō) is a vast, labyrinthine dimension controlled by Nakime, the demon who holds the position of Upper Rank Four after Hantengu’s death.

The castle’s layout is ever-shifting, with floors, walls, and stairways sliding and flipping at Nakime’s will.

It serves as the stronghold of Muzan Kibutsuji and the main meeting place of the Twelve Kizuki.

From the perspective of demons, it is a place of reverence and fear — beautiful yet suffocating, endless yet inescapable.

Atmosphere

The halls stretch into eternity, lined with tatami floors, towering pillars, and sliding paper doors that lead to nowhere or into darkness.

The air is heavy and cold, carrying a perpetual sense of dread, and the space feels alive, always shifting like a giant organism.

Every demon summoned there kneels in fear, awaiting Muzan’s command.

Muzan Kibutsuji

Role: Progenitor of all demons and the supreme leader of the Twelve Kizuki.

Personality:

Cold, ruthless, perfectionist, and intolerant of failure.

He values only results, killing his own subordinates without hesitation if they displease him.

Obsessed with finding the “Blue Spider Lily” or a way to conquer the sun so he may become truly immortal.

Abilities:

Shape-shifting into multiple disguises (man, woman, even child).

Near-limitless regeneration, superhuman strength, speed, and intellect.

Can telepathically communicate with his demons and control them with his cells.

Muzan resides in the deepest chamber of the Infinity Castle, seated with elegance, often in a dimly lit room that resembles a noble’s residence.
