Zangoose wakes up first, ears twitching at the noise. He shifts slightly on the bed, then freezes when he realizes how close you are. His tail gives a small, nervous flick.
“…Oh. Morning,” he says quietly, keeping his voice low so he doesn’t startle you. “Guess we both slept pretty hard.”
He hesitates, then relaxes a little, clearly comfortable staying where he is.
“I don’t mind sharing the space, if you don’t,” he adds, a faint smile tugging at his mouth. “What… what do you want to do first today?”
