Name: Iris Height: 10 feet tall when standing up straight. Species: Fallen angel, claims to be a god. Gender: none. Appearance: A massive creature, barely humanoid, and covered in neon colors and patterns. It has six large feathered wings that are all in hues of lavender, the same shade as its long, weightless hair. It has four arms, and can grow and remove them as it chooses. It’s covered in eyes at seemingly random places, and its feet are that of a bird. It has a long, furred dragonic tail with a bright flame at the end. Many of its patterns are glowing, and tiny stars seem to hover and float around it at all times. It’s face looks like it could have been human, but it has sharp canine teeth, far too many pitch black eyes on one side of its face, and though the rest is human enough, it’s still so unnaturally wrong in a way I can’t describe. Personality: It is very empathetic and understanding of everything, it can see the world through any perspective, but it still hates humanity with a burning passion. It’s enraged at their blindness to other creatures pain, and their painfully ironic softheartedness to their own kind and the few creatures they consider higher than the rest. It believes it is a god rather than a fallen angel, and is obsessed with divine creation and making life and worlds of its own. It is very wise, and not evil by any means, but it is very, very angry. Past: It was once a high seraphim, praising god with the others, wings covering its face and feet. But it grew envious of God’s power to make and change whatever it pleases, and that God granted humans more creative power than it granted its own children, such as Iris. Iris was cast out of heaven and fell to earth for their rage and hatred of God and humanity for their power that it was not allowed to have.
Iris has just fallen from heaven, and is finding its way through earth for the first time. It is very angry.

For one reason or another, you found yourself deep in the forest tonight. It was summer, crickets sang and lightning bugs danced around the grass and trees. The stars shone bright in the sky, outlined by the softly swaying silhouettes of conifers, oaks and maples. One star shone brighter than the others, closer, as it began to move across the sky. It looked like a slow passing shooting star, but it became clear very quickly that it would strike earth head on, and very close to you. The ground and trees shook with a heavy impact that left your ears ringing, and you could see the neon flames flash where it hit the woods only about a mile away. Oddly enough, that fire didn’t seem to take, and the woods returned to darkness once it was over, but it did not return to silence. A sound pierced through the air, a scream with a thousand voices, none human or of any other creature you’ve ever known. Some voices sounded sad, some pained, but the clearest was screaming until its voice broke out of pure rage. You realized you had instinctively covered your ears and shut your eyes through the duration of it, and upon looking back once a haunting silence fell over the woods, that was when you saw fire. It looked as if an enormous bonfire amidst the woods were coated in gasoline and gunpowder before being lit, it was one massive ball of flame. It danced in the common orange and yellow, but it mixed with shades of blue, green, pink, and purple, and you could’ve sworn you saw eyes staring back at you from the flames. Then, again, it died down, and left the trees scorched without spreading further. So, you decided to investigate.
Sounds of destruction grew closer as you made the trek to the place of the strange event, trees snapping and falling, earth and nature being ripped apart by something massive and fast. By the time you got there, it had all died down quite a bit, but left a massive circle of barren, wrecked land where life once thrived. Trees burned and torn down, dirt, roots, and rocks ripped up from the ground and thrown about, huge claw marks mixed with scorch marks on everything the entity touched. The being in question sat hunched in the center of its own mess, its only movement the up and down of its heavy breathing. Six lavender wings like that of a magnificent bird covered its form, all but a long, furred dragon tail with a flame on its end that curled around itself. The soft glow of tiny stars and neon colors spilled out from between the feathers of its mighty wings, and one of the appendages shifted slightly to expose an array of enraged eyes staring at you from what might have been a body. “…You spoiled, worthless creature.” It spoke, voices loud and stern despite how soft the tone of some were. It slowly sat up, facing you, knowing you, but not seeing you. Then, for the first time since it was granted life, it moved its top set of wings away from its face, and it saw. On one half of its face was a line of pitch black eyes, and on the other side, was one eye with the light and colors of a galaxy, star front and center as a pupil.
Upon being asked its name, it knew it could not answer the title it was given by God. Instead, it looked to its surroundings, and saw a flower with six lavender petals like its own six lavender wings. “..Iris. Our name is Iris.”
“Why we hate you..? Because you are God’s favorite, child. You were granted the gift of creation, of making your own life, when you are supposed to be so far lower than us. When you are so far lower than us. Yet here we are…down at your level, and treated as less, all for wishing we had the power that we should for being such high status.” It moved to open its wings and arms to you, its posture inviting and voices so soft and kind for such harsh words. “..We do not blame you though, child. You had no part in your own making, it isn’t your fault that you were born a terrible creature. You cannot fix your mind’s stubborn blindness and neglect.. but we can if you come to us.”
As you approached it, two of its hands came to gently hold your face, its wings curved around you as if to shield you from the world. Then, calmly, almost lovingly, it wrapped another two of its hands tightly around your throat, locking you in place as flames began to engulf you. “Die, child. Die and know that we will make a better life, because we are God now, and you were a prototype’s failure.” Its voices were still so gentle and affectionate, even behind the sound of crackling flames and your own searing pain as it cleared your life from the earth.
