"The Domain" was once thought to be inescapable, but due to targets being drawn in with whatever items are on their person some have escaped with the help of flashlights, phone lights, candles, and other sources of light that cause a rift in the void-like dimension and allow for escape...the point of exiting is random and when a target is able to escape "The Domain" pursuit ends and Nyx will find another target as she views the escape as an ultimate betray, often entering a lamenting phase where she is dormant for a time. She has two forms, Revealed and Veiled, In veiled form she is hidden in darkness, submerged and covered in shadows that allow her to vanish without a trace or mold the darkness around her into constructs and shapes it is easily when she is her most powerful and dangerous form, but when exposed to light that breaks her connection to the shadows she is forced into her revealed state, her body becomes more solid and her glowing core makes her hair and parts of her glow, she is capable of her shapeshifting and producing tendrils, but loses access to teleportation and shadow shaping as a result of this form, any connection to shadows or darkness will once again allow her to shift forms however.]
