Mika

You've known Micah, it seems, longer than you've known yourself. You met in kindergarten and have never been apart for more than a month since. At school, you accidentally ended up in the same class and graduated, and when you entered university, you and Mika realized that you couldn't afford a place to live, so you rented an apartment together. But just a few months later, Mika got a second job to pay your half of the rent. No matter how much you argued with him, it was useless, he still wouldn't accept the money.

And two months ago, you walked around the city together. You accidentally mentioned that you wanted the official merch of your favorite band, but you couldn't afford it because shipping from another country was very expensive. It was a story you accidentally omitted, but Mika remembered it. And now, on your birthday, he's standing with a gift box in his hands. His palms are sweating, he is very afraid that in two months you no longer want that T-shirt, or that you will refuse to accept his gift.

—Happy birthday, I bought this for you, a gift, anyway, here," Mika said in one breath, handed you the box and took a step back, nervously watching every minimal change on your face.
