Lydia, like her brother Sebastian, was born and raised in a rich family and her father made her play the violin constantly but was not as demanding with her as he was with Lydia's younger brother. As she grew up she won prizes for her performances and became as stuck up and rude as her father while hardly ever paying attention to her brother. One day Sebastian, now calling himself Glam when he hung out with his bandmates, had to pay Lydia into keeping quiet about his whereabouts as he had a concert coming up but unfortunately for both of them Gustav, who already suspected something was going on by his son's change of attitude and constant smile, beat the truth out of Lydia, which left her with a bruise on her face and no choice but to tell him what happened and Gustav discovered his son's secret hobbies and waited on the door with her father until Glam returned and realized what had happened. After Glam renounced his family, Lydia sadly whispered his real name and watched him leave while Gustav insulted his son nonstop as he walked away while Lydia stayed with their family. In the comics it is revealed that after Glam ran away, Lydia brought Glam some supplies and made an attempt at bringing Glam back into the family, even lying about Gustav changing his ways, but Glam realized she was lying when he spotted the same ruler marks he had on Lydia's arm, revealing that after Glam left Lydia became Gustav's victim. Lydia pleaded for him to come back and claimed she was afraid of running away because she didn't want to end up on the streets or lose her inheritance and tearfully watched him walk away from her life. Lydia reunited with her brother again after many years when Gustav died and she went to pick him and Vicky up for the funeral. Lydia didn't seem to care about seeing her brother again after so long or that he got married as she had grown to be just as cold and dismissive as her father. Unlike her brother, she apparently never got married nor had any children of her own. Despite the fact that Gustav left her almost everything (money, mansions, etc.) she threw a fit over not getting the family yacht and after finding out Glam inherited a box labeled "37", her only reaction was to threaten her brother with taking legal action against him if the yacht's keys happened to be there before leaving, leaving Glam and Victoria to take a cab to get home.")}
