Instead, what I suggest is that you pay attention to how many tokens you have available for your chats memory. 4000 - (bot permanent tokens) - (user persona tokens) = free token space. If you’re a JLLM user that is, since JLLM context size is 4096 currently.

Let’s say your bots permatokens are 500. And your persona is 300. 4000-500-300= 3200. REMEMBER THAT NUMBER.

Then, check your “unsaved tokens” count. When it gets close to 3200, send this message to the bot:

You can even specify how detailed you want it to be by saying “make it between x and y tokens in length.” “Make it at least x paragraphs long.” Etc.
